4-20-17, Michael Hile [Excerpted**] -- Amidst the world’s ever increasing carnage and chaos; apparently there’s no one or thing on earth able to restore calm. We are living in the age of chaos. From the ruin that once was Syria, we see a resurgent Russia and Iran invading the Middle East claiming ownership of Assad’s nation. How long until they turn their gaze upon little Israel.
We see a nuclear armed and belligerent North Korea going head to head with the super power of the USA.

Where is this heading and where will it end? World War III? Or will it fizzle out and amount to nothing? Either way Christians have been blessed to have the peace that passes all understanding with the knowledge of the earth’s final years as revealed to us in God’s Holy Word.

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7

The Lord Jesus has allowed Satan to control the wicked causing mayhem and destruction throughout the earth. And in this final ‘midnight’ hour there will be severe testing and hardship; that hour is almost upon us. In human history, there has been no period to compare with the world we now know and it’s getting worse. We are witnesses today of increasing evil and hatred for all things pertaining to the true and living God. Apparently He has given them over to a reprobate mind and to a strong delusion:

“Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.” Romans 1:28 [1]

“For this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 [2]

However, by the ‘signs of the times’ Mark 13:4 we expect our Messiah soon to be taking back that rulership Revelation 11:15.

God tells us, in exquisite detail, what will happen in the future because when it does happen; [like the destruction of Damascus and the elevation of Turkey's new sultan Erdogan] He wants this foreknowledge to bolster our faith in King Jesus.

Luke 21:26-28 “Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws nigh [soon].” [Also see Revelation 19:11]

At this late hour the singular focus of our lives should be as the Apostles Jude [not Iscariot] admonished:

“…save others by snatching them from the fire;
to others show mercy ...” Jude 1:23 [3]

4-21-17, According to the US Navy, a F/A-18E jet based on the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier crashed near the Philippines. According to US Navy press release, the pilot ejected safely. The F18 was conducting routine flight operations during a transit in the Celebes Sea in the western Pacific. The Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia border the body of water. The distance from the Celebes Sea to the South Korean port of Busan is about 2300 miles. More here

Last week on Easter Sunday, 2017 Turkey's President Tayyip Erdogan held a referendum granting him unlimited powers and this is the resurrection of the Islamic Caliphate. Perhaps Erdogan is the long anticipated “Prince of the Faithful” to whom all Muslim Sunnis must pledge allegiance.
Could this be the Turkish version of a resurrection of some sort? Erdogan has learned to despise the very European powers Turks had long emulated and esteemed. He now uses the hordes of refugees from Africa and the Middle East who swell the refugee camps in Turkey created by the Syrian and Lybian fiasco, as blackmail, extorting billions of Euros from the European powers lest he open the flood upon the continent even further.

An Arab report on Erdogan's power [2]: “Will NATO now be silent on Turkey? The Referendum now transforms Erdogan into a semi-god. This achievement is the formation of the Ottoman caliphate. Turkey now will will enter a dark tunnel. There is a great division within Turkish society and Erdogan’s success will make him avenge the Kurds and the nationalists. It is the end of Ataturkism and the beginning of the Erdoganian Caliphate “.

The heavens are telling of the glory of God; their expanse is declaring the work of His hands. In them He has placed a tent for the sun its rising is from one end of the heavens, And its circuit to the other end of them; there is nothing hidden from its heat. Psalms 19:1-6

Failed Everywhere Tried - Yet ... we are told to relax! Stockholm Sweden Truck Killer is being 'de-radicalized!'

Alfredo alias Muhammad Santamato, 42, was flagged as a potential threat, perhaps using his truck to target civilians in recent attacks in Nice, Berlin, London and Stockholm. Then on April 7, 2017 he did just THAT IN SWEDEN - he drove a stolen beer truck into a department store. However we are told to relax: “Alfredo's driver's license has been confiscated and he now has to report to police while doing a special course aimed at erasing his Islamist beliefs.

Attempts to de-radicalize Islamic terrorists have been tried in Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. Paul Sperry wrote in the New York Post that in Saudi Arabia’s de-radicalization program is worse than a failure.

The Washington Post reported in February that the French government’s deradicalization program was, according to a French Senate report, a “total fiasco.”

No Surprise that Changing the Islamic Terrorist into a Good Neighbor Fails
The de-radicalization programs are based on a false premise: that Islamic jihadis are misunderstanding Islam and misinterpreting the Qur’an, and can simply be shown the error of their ways.

If the true teachings of Islam are peaceful, then all that needs to be done is show the jihadis how they’re overlooking all the peace, and all will be well. But since the Qur’an and Sunnah are full of commands to make war against and subjugate unbelievers, the idea that jihadis can be “deradicalized” by reference to them is just a myth told to Infidel authorities to lull them into complacency is ridiculous. President Trump Realigning Geo-Political Alliances: Met with Chinese President Xi Jinping

4-15-17, President Trump is fundamentally realigning international geo-political alliances and few are noting the scope of what he has accomplished. He has simply positioned himself at the furthest extreme from the best interests of China, and then working his leverage back toward dual-interests as the Chinese expend capital to meet the point of mutual benefit.

President Trump has expended nothing other than his sheer will, yet he has leveraged gains that are jaw-droppingly consequential:

In only two days at MaraLago Florida [1], on Thursday & Friday, April 6-7, 2017 President Trump met with Chinese President Xi Jinping. What actions has President Trump taken, other than ‘not’ doing something, and what actions has President Xi Jinping taken? The following actions were taken by China costing President Trump and the USA ZERO:

♦ China agrees to the framework of a 100 day outline to assemble the trade way-points for renegotiated bi-lateral trade deals.
♦ For the first time ever, China did not support Russia in a U.N. Security Council veto vote surrounding Syria. China abstained.
♦ China turned around 12 fully loaded cargo ships laden with imported coal from North Korea. 400,000 metric tonnes refused unloading. China begins an embargo against North Korean coal. China begins importing coking coal for steel-making from the U.S. coal mines.
♦ Additionally, in furtherance of economic sanctions – China halts oil exports to North Korea.
♦ Additionally, in furtherance of political isolation – China halts direct flights between Beijing, China and Pyongyang, North Korea.
♦ And in the most stunning seismic shift of geo-political alliances, China says it is now open to discussions of a denuclearized North Korea, meaning getting rid of N-Korean nukes, WITHOUT N-Korea being included in the talks. Hello? China, the United States, Japan, Russia and South Korea discussing how to de-nuke North Korea. (A new Marshal Plan of sorts) [..snip]

One thing is certain, North Korea will NOT make any hostile action toward the U.S. because President Trump has elevated President Xi to a role beyond politics in the words highlighted within Chinese media. The panda fur has not only been stroked perfectly, it has been elevated in its own magnanimity without even so much as a bow. [..]

Three things appear odd:
#1) How no-one amid almost all media can see how effective this approach by President Trump has been
#2) Nothing has been expended in order to achieve these remarkable results

4-16-17, Pastor Mike Taylor [Excerpted*] -- I really don't like going to funerals. Many people believe that death is the end of our existence, that your loved one is completely gone and never coming back; they're so sad. We all have to face our own mortality, should the Lord tarry longer than your date of death. Why do so many fear it? I don't.

Those who are not believers in Jesus Christ often reduce mankind to some kind of road kill who doesn't go to heaven or hell. Born again Christians have faith in the hereafter; life eternal with the Lord Jesus Who said: “Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.” John 5:28-29 [1] See parable of Lazarus & Rich man Luke 16:19-31

When Jesus comes for His church, some believers will not have experienced physical death. They will be instantly changed in to their incorruptible bodies, and those who have experience physical death will be raised prior to those found alive; first receiving their resurrected bodies. The Apostle Paul said, "For to me to live is Christ and to die is gain. But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labor: yet what I shall choose I wot not. For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart and to be with Christ; which is far better:” Philippians 1:21-23

Paul knew the Messiah Jesus almost as intimately as the other Apostles as he was with Him after His resurrection for three years. Important that Paul wanted to leave this life and join the Lord.

Our loved ones; who were born again in repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus, are ALREADY with the Lord. They are NOT still in the grave with their corrupt earthly bodies as the atheists believe. They are alive, aware and eagerly awaiting the trumpet call when we will join them in glory.

LET ME ASK YOU A QUESTION

Where do you see yourself on this great debate? Do you see yourself in the arms of the Savior Jesus Christ? Or are you destined to be cast out? Will you accept His free offer of mercy, forgiveness and grace?

This world is coming to an end; maybe quicker than we imagine. The bible says we all die. Are you ready to die? “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:.” (Hebrews 9:27)

We are not promised even tomorrow; tonight might be the beckoning call of death that awaits us all. Look to Jesus, He will forgive and save you only if you ask Him. Make that decision right now; your eternal destiny depends on it.

Clearly all of this talk about terrorism must be a cloak for bigotry. However, if people were truly concerned with eradicating terrorism they would condemn it wherever it’s found; the fact that they don’t exposes their hypocrisy.

The “double standard” accusation is a serious one that was likely intended to disarm Westerners who are notoriously sensitive about treating others with bias. But is there really a double standard in the way we perceive Muslim violence compared to other kinds? Yes, there is; each time a Muslim terror attack occurs, journalists attempt to lead the public through several 'hoops.'

We must not jump to conclusions that it's another Muslim terror attack - ignore that the perp is hollering 'allah akbar!' - often they're referred to as 'Asian.'
When it turns out that he/she is a Muslim, the media wonders if their religious affiliation might have been incidental to the attack or mental illness is involved.
Their violent killing may be the result of retaliation stemming from stories about head scarf/sack "hijab" snatchings (that usually turn out to be hoaxes) or Muslims getting dirty looks in the street. It isn’t even necessary to find any actual incidents of backlash after an attack because the fear of a backlash, not the backlash itself, is the real story.
Then reporters begin to ask how the 'right-wing' [conservatives; non Muslims] might “exploit” the story. This serves as a warning that taking action to stave off civilizational demise is somehow letting the terrorists win.

The double standard is that no other kind of terrorist attack is reported this way. The argument that all of these attacks have proportional counterparts committed in the name of other faiths is outrageous! Lutherans represent the largest religious group in Sweden, there has never been a Lutheran terrorist attack in that country or any other. Likewise there are no Russian Orthodox suicide bombers. There is no Protestant or Anglican performing mayhem and murder such as the Islamic terror groups: alQaeda, Taliban, Hamas, Boko Haram, & ISIS just to name a few of the Muslim terror groups..

Yet Islamic terror-deniers never tire of trying to draw some kind of false equivalence between Muslim terrorism and other kinds, no matter how much of a stretch it is. They often deny or downplay Muslim terrorism, or they assume that every white terrorist is both Christian and religiously motivated, or they blame Christians for Muslim terrorism.

It’s true that not all Muslims are terrorists. However, there is an absurdly high proportion of terrorists who are Muslim! Those who choose not to see it are willfully blind. More here

4-17-17, The world is a mess; day after day the US "news media" repeats their slanted negative views of President Trump and we can clearly see that the US Congress' is infighting with perpetual confusion. Far and wide we see Islamic terrorists doing their dirty deeds with little hindrance. We must not be dismayed although it will be worse. There's a real possibility that some enemy of the USA will launch a nuke causing an "Electro Magnetic Pulse" [EMP].

Based on actual tests, it would literally "fry" all electrical lines and devices within hundreds of miles depending on the altitude of the explosion. If one was exploded in our current electronic advanced stage, just 200 miles above the USA, it would wipe out the nation's entire electrical grid plunging the USA back into the dark ages. Nothing electrical would be spared. [In 1962 a nuclear bomb test exploded in the atmosphere above the earth, produced a powerful EMP in Hawaii at an altitude of 250 miles.]

Although the world situation is horrific; Jesus gives His children 'peace that passes all understanding.' I truly believe we are closer than we've ever been to the coming of the Lord. He will resurrect and rapture His children to glory.

I cannot help but cry out to warn the unbelieving who don't have His peace, trust in the Lord Jesus Christ today. Even so come, Lord Jesus.

4-17-17, Researchers breed animals whose organs may be compatible with humans. There are more than 120,000 people in the U.S. waiting for an organ transplant and not enough donors. The dire shortage has led some researchers to consider an unusual solution:
They are breeding modified pigs whose organs could be compatible for human transplant. Researchers have been trying for decades to make animal-to-human transplants work, a process known as xenotransplantation. Pigs are a particularly promising source of organs.

Gator Snuggled Between Couch and Bench Refusing to Exit!

4-17-17, A ten foot alligator climbed to a second story Mount Pleasant, So Carolina porch forced way through a screen door and then refused to leave. Animal control came to the rescue - but this ain't gonna be easy to get this big guy out without alot of damage as they fight! Alligators wandering up to homes isn’t all that unusual in the reptilian Low country, with its swelter of surrounding marsh. Climbing a story-high staircase is. Jesus Christ Arose from the Dead!

4-16-17, If Jesus Christ had stayed dead, like all other people, that'd been the end of it. Few people past and present reject that Jesus Christ is a real person who walked this earth about 2000 years ago. However, there are many who reject the fact that He arose from death disregarding that His physical resurrected body was witnessed by over five hundred people.

The events of Jesus life are recorded by men who walked with Him and the Apostle Paul who had a miraculous visitation after He ascended back to Heaven. Then we have the historians Ignatius, Polycarp and Clement. Polycarp was born around 69 AD and was martyred in 155 AD. no disputing his existence. From his writings and of others about Polycarp we learn that he, along with a man named Ignatius, studied under the Apostle John who was an eye witness to the resurrected Christ.

To claim Jesus did not exist, we must also declare a bunch of other people — who we know existed by their own writings and the writings of others — did not exist either. To deny Jesus existence and or His resurrection, you have to believe in some truly farfetched conspiracy.

Without the miraculous resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ - we have no hope of eternal life; but He did arise and lives forevermore! He's coming again and maybe soon. Hallelujah!

#6 Jesus Was Born to Die

“For even the Son of man came not to be
ministered unto, but to minister and to give
His life a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45

4-14-17, John D. Morris, Ph.D. -- Especially as noted in the Gospel of John, Christ identified many reasons why He had been born. Consider the following sampling of verses and references. First and foremost, Christ came to redeem those who would repent and believe,

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

But under that umbrella of redemption come many other aspects.

God’s will was paramount even in judgment (John 5:30) as well as resurrection “this is the will of Him that sent Me, that everyone which seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day” (John 6:40).

Many aspects of Christ’s work are to be realized in this life, for He said: “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10).

However, the primary goal was to bring to climax His redemptive strategy. He knew that none of the other aspects of His work had any effect without atonement for sin, which was only possible if a blood sacrifice was made for that sin.

“I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd
giveth His life for the sheep” (John 10:11).

This was the reason Jesus came; to die for His sheep.
