There are now over a 1.2 billion people in that false Islamic religion, so it’s founder, Muhammad could certainly qualify as the false prophet of Revelation 19:20. Since there are no less than three to five million Moslems in the US, we can reasonably conclude that somewhere between 300,000 to 750,000 American Moslems support the terrorists. That means over 100 million human beings are, to a greater or lesser degree, caught up in the world's most dangerous fanaticism … ISLAM. Understanding the scriptures takes much study; and not wholly on commentaries from others. My understanding of salvation is for all mankind Old Testament Saints & New Testament as recorded in Genesis 3:15; Romans 5:18; Colossians 2:14; 1 John 3:8. The difference between Old Testament and New Testament saints [born again believers in Christ Jesus] is how God revealed Himself to them/us.
 
Thus the Son of God died, and tasted death and shed His precious blood for all men; and He thereby bruised the serpent’s head, destroyed the works of the devil, annulled the handwriting and obtained forgiveness of sins for all mankind. Thus becoming the cause of eternal salvation for all those who, from Adam to the end of world, each in his time, believe in and obey Him. Genesis 3:15; Romans 5:18; Colossians 2:14; 1 John 3:8

“Greetings Brethren, We don’t need man’s “positions” or “views” on Bible prophecy anymore. Bible prophecy can now be understood from God’s perspective because of two miraculous events that have taken place in the Holy Land during the last 60 years: In 1948, the Jews established the new nation of Israel. In 1967, Jerusalem was freed from Gentile control. Those two events are prophetically pivotal, and because of them, we can now see Bible Prophecy in a totally new way. But accepting doctrinal reform has never been easy for the Church. Over the years, I’ve visited many Christian chat-rooms, hundreds of churches and even taught in a few. Many of those churches have leaders who claim to be Bible prophecy experts. It isn’t so. They are actually “ism” experts:  Preter-ism, Dispensational-ism Histori-cism or some other “ism.” And it’s a tragedy! Those "isms" have slammed the door on outside-the-box studies in Bible prophecy for over 300 years!  As a result, when God in His time removed the veil from His prophetic books, no one was watching.”

4-20-18, * -- In the Jewish state of Israel, Yom Hazikaron, Heroes Remembrance Day, the day of remembrance for fallen soldiers and victims of terror begins. What is a memorial day in a country that has always known war and where remembrance means adding the toll of one year's dead and wounded to the scales of history? A country where sirens may pause but never stop, where each generation grows up knowing that they will have to fight, stand watch or run away. It is not so much the past that is remembered on this day, but the present and the future.
 
Yet each memorial day we count the dust [Genesis 13:16] that is a fraction of those who have fallen defending the land for thousands of years. Flesh wears out, blood falls to the earth where the red daisies grow, and bone turns to dust. The Creator vowed to Abraham [and his wife, Sarah, Genesis 17:19, 21] that his children would be as many as the dust of the earth and the stars of heaven. In their darkest days, there is mercy in the numberless count of the dust.
 
Some new countries are built to escape from the past, but there is no escaping it in these ancient hills of Israel. Israel Defense Forces [IDF] patrol over ground once contested by empires, tread over spearheads and the wheels of chariots buried deep in the earth. The Assyrians and the Babylonians came through here in all their glory. Greek and Roman soldiers and mercenaries pitted themselves against the handful of Judeans who came out of the Babylonian exile. The Ottoman and the Arab raged here, and Crusader battering rams and British Enfield rifles still echo in the quiet hills.
 
Can these bones live [Ezekiel 37:3,11-14], the Lord asks Ezekiel. And generations, after each slaughter, they come again, the descendants of the dead to reclaim the hills of their ancestors. Rising like the red flowers out of the soil; like the bones out of the earth. They come up as slaves out of Egypt and out of the captivity of empires, their tongues as numberless as the earth. Here they come again to set up kingdoms and nations. And there in shadows on the dust, a handful of men fight off a legion; swords, spears and rifles in hand they face down impossible odds. They fight and die, but they go on and live. [Ezekiel 37:9-14]
 
Some 3,000 years ago, Judge Jephthah and the King of Ammon were exchanging messages [Judges 11:14-28] not too different from those being passed around as diplomatic communiques today. The King of Ammon demanding land for peace and the Judge laying out the Israeli case for the land in a message that the enemy would hardly trouble to read before going to war.
 
The soldier is not so sacred as he once was. The journalist and the judge have taken his place. The borders have shrunk. The old victories have been exchanged for diplomatic defeats. From the old strongholds come missiles and rockets. And children hide in bomb shelters waiting for the worst to pass. This is the doing of the journalist and the judge. The man who serves is still sacred, but the temple of duty is desecrated more and more each year. Among the leftists draft dodging, once a black mark of shame, has become a mark of pride. Some are afraid, but some are filled with hate. They have found their Inner Cain [Genesis 4:8] and go now to slay their brothers with words.
 
How shall I curse whom G-d has not cursed, asks Balaam [Numbers 23:8]. But the King of Moab [1] is determined to have his curses anyway. And today it is to the UN that they come for curses. The Arab lands boil with blood, but resolution after resolution are issued damning the only democratic nation in the Middle East … Israel.
 
Were those men who fought and died for Judea and Samaria [now called ‘West bank], for the Golan and Jerusalem, for every square inch of land when the armies of Arab dictators came to push them into the sea, heroes or villains? Were Nasser, Hussein, Saddam, Arafat, Gaddafi, Assad and the House of Saud the real heroes all along? The Arab overwhelming majority of 360 million pitted against Israel’s tiny minority of 6 million.

King Solomon said, “All go to one place, all that lives is of the dust, and all returns to the dust. There is nothing better than that a man should rejoice in his works.” Ecclesiastes 3:20-22
 
Again we celebrate Israel’s memorial day that precedes the day of independence. We rejoice in those who sleep in the dust have died to protect. The skyscrapers and the orchards, the sheep ranches and the highways, the schools and the synagogues. For they who drained the swamps and built the roads, who held guard over the air and built the cities, may not have lived to see their works; but we rejoice in their works for them.
 
A new generation rises to watch over their dust and tend the works that they have built. Until the day when He that counts the dust of Jacob shall count them all, and the land shall stir, and in the words of Daniel, they that sleep in dust shall arise, and then rejoice with us. Daniel 12:2-3; Ezekiel 37:14

4-20-18, Charged with being a spy, Czech missionary Petr Jasek endured a 14-month imprisonment in Sudan where he was tortured by fellow cellmates. But Jesus supernaturally imparted peace during his confinement and he became a bold witness, winning many to Christ. 

In his role as the Africa regional director for Voice of the Martyrs (VOM), Jasek went to Sudan to document the persecution of Christians, which was happening in the Nubah Mountains in clashes between the government and rebels.

His arrest: He was detained by the Sudanese police at Khartoum Airport in December 2015:

“I arrived at the cell at about 1:30 a.m. the cell was overcrowded, with people covering the floor. They had to squeeze a little bit so they would create some small room for me to lie down on the floor. The other prisoners were Muslims who hated me, called me names, tortured and beat me ... At that time I was really thinking about the Lord Jesus what He had to go through when He was arrested and they also were beating Him with a wooden stick and were ridiculing Him, slapping Him. I became like their slave. I was really [made] to wash their clothes, wash all the dishes, clean the toilet with my bare hands. They were just making fun of me. I did not resist. I could clearly see the Lord Jesus and how He suffered for us.”

4-21-18, A California school district says that parents can’t opt out of a new sex education course that will deal with abortion, homosexuality and transgender issues. Although parents are supposed to have the right to keep their kids out of the class, the Orange County Board of Education decided parents don’t have a right to exclude their kids from the class, LifeSite News reports.

Orange County Dept of Education general counsel Ronald Wenkart on March 29, 2018 stated that the opt-out provision “does not apply to instruction, materials, or programming that discusses gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, discrimination, harassment, bullying, intimidation, relationships, or family and does not discuss human reproductive organs.” More here

4-18-18, * -- How is the one true ‘religion,’ Christianity different from all man-made religions? Answer: Christians have a risen Savior, Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:21; Romans 8:38-39 God told us in His word there will be two judgments for mankind:
 
Judgment Seat of Christ - this is a “reward” banquet to give each of those who have accepted Jesus as Personal Savior, rewards to those who used their abilities to win souls for Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:10-11 [Crown of Rejoicing, 1 Thessalonians 2:19-20] Ultimately we want to hear the Lord say, ‘Well done, thou good and faithful servant.’ Matthew 25:23; 1 Cor 3:13; James 2:19-20 Almighty God expects us to share the Good News of salvation using the special ‘talents’ He has given us. Romans 14:10-12; 2 Cor 5:10 
 
Jesus, in Matthew 25:14-22, gave the parable of the ‘talents.’ In a nutshell, the parable shows that the Lord went on a trip entrusting three servants with His ‘talents’ … two of the servants invested His money (aka His talent, His Word) so when the Lord returned, He’d receive what is His with interest. And the servant who was rewarded the most ... had produced the most. [What’s the interest … saved souls.] However, the unprofitable servant hid His Master's talents suffering consequences for his laziness – he was stripped of what he had and it was given to the servant who produced the most. He was cast into outer darkness. Matthew 25:28-30
 
White Throne Judgment - [Revelation 20:11-15] The final judgment prior to the unbelieving people to be cast into what's called 'the lake of fire.' As we understand it, this judgment will take place after the millennium and after Satan, the beast and the false prophet are dispensed with (Revelation 20:7-15). The books are opened (Revelation 20:12) containing records of everyone; all their deeds are recorded whether good or evil. (Psalm 28:4; 62:12; Romans 2:6; Revelation 2:23; 18:6; 22:12)
 
Conclusion: Have we used our talents for our own selfish interests, or have we shared the Good News of salvation to the lost and dying? Have we repented of our sin accepting Christ as our Lord and Savior? We choose where we will spend eternity … in Heaven with God or in Hell with Satan.

4-19-18, Ben Cohen -- Amid all the diplomatic maneuverings in the months that led up to the creation of the State of Israel 70 years ago, none are more curious than those undertaken by the Soviet Union.
 
It’s fair to say that Soviet support was a necessary condition for the emergence of an independent Jewish state in what was then British Mandate Palestine. As WW2 came to an end the Zionist leadership certainly understood this; both Chaim Weizmann and David Ben-Gurion courting Soviet foreign ministry. Until the middle of 1947, the Soviets remained firm opponents of partitioning the country into Jewish and Arab states.
 
The principal reason behind this brief flash of Soviet support for Israel was geopolitical. The USSR had come to the end of the war without a coherent policy towards the Arab world, but with a basic distrust of the pan-Arab pretensions of the newly-formed Arab League… [snip]
 
Then Israel became firmly in the camp of the United States and the Soviet Union as the principle backer of Arab rejectionizm. Israel’s embassy in Moscow had been shuttered for more than 20 years [it reopened in 1991]. Israel’s present-day relations with Russia are complicated by many of the same issues that prevailed during the Cold War—foremost, its continued investment in Syria.
 
Russia continues in the sphere of international politics. Seventy years after Israel’s creation, Russia remains the world power that is closest to the Jewish state’s most implacable enemies, providing them with diplomatic and military sustenance—and keeping those old memories alive.

10-25-1991, MOSCOW — After twenty-four years, in 1991, Israel renewed diplomatic relations with the Soviet Union. It was severed during the 1967 Middle East War, formally reopening its embassy in Moscow. Ambassador-designate Arye Levin unveiled a bronze plaque with the words "Embassy of the State of Israel" in Hebrew and Russian at the entrance of the mission across the Moscow River from Red Square. He said: "We took this down 24 years and four months ago. Now we are returning it to its proper place."

‘Forest bathing’ takes tree hugging to new extremes
4-18-18, SF Chronicle -- There’s a revolutionary new way to walk through the forest. V-e-r-y slowly; take a few steps... that’s far enough. Now sit down and talk it over with the person next to you, for a long time. It’s a New Age thing in Sonoma County California. Walking very slowly through the forest — while thinking about walking very slowly through the forest — is a full-blown movement. It could be a paradigm. The people who do this call it “forest bathing.” It doesn’t involve actual bathing, the kind with water. It’s figurative bathing. You soak in the wonders of the forest. ​Starbucks Is Closing Thousands of Stores for Racial Bias Training - Cost? $53 Million
4-17-18, Time Magazine -- On April 12, 2018 the Philadelphia Starbucks store had two black men ask to use their restroom without making a purchase. Their request was declined and the men ultimately were arrested. The manager involved in the event has since left Starbucks.' The incident led to nationwide protests and boycotts. On May 29, 2018, the company has scheduled a racial bias training day and closing about 8000 stores. The financial hit is significant: according to Starbucks latest earnings report they made about $4.7 billion in over the most recent quarter, about $1.6 billion per month and that equals about $53 million per day.

4-9-18, Matt Barber, SACRAMENTO, CA — The California LGBT Caucus recently introduced a bill that would ban counselors from providing counseling and adults from receiving counsel regarding unwanted same-sex attraction, behavior or gender confusion. AB 2943 would prevent so-called “conversion therapy,” known as Sexual Orientation Change Efforts (SOCE), and add it to the list of fraudulent schemes under the states’ Consumer Legal Remedies Act (CLRA). California has already prohibited SOCE (SB1172) involving minors, even with parental consent. AB 2943 has been assigned to the Assembly Committee on Privacy and Consumer Protection. 

AB 2943 prohibits:

1. advertising sexual orientation change efforts
2. offering to engage in sexual orientation change efforts
3. engaging in sexual orientation change efforts
4. every individual, whether a pastor, clergy, or licensed therapist, from advertising, offering to engage in, or engaging in sexual orientation change efforts
5. any person to sell books, counseling services, or anything else that directs people to trust in Jesus Christ to help them overcome unwanted same-sex attraction or gender confusion [the Holy Bible?]

This bill will cause harm by preventing counselors from providing counseling and adults from receiving beneficial counsel they desire. AB2943 is ideologically driven and lacks scientific justification. Many people have benefited from receiving counsel for unwanted same-sex attractions, behaviors, or gender confusion.

If AB 2943 is approved, victims of sexual abuse can no longer get counseling if they develop (as often happens) unwanted urges to engage in same-sex behavior or become gender confused. More here

4-19-18, World Tribune -- Mrs Ri Sol-Ju Jong-Un, Kim Jong-Un's wife, has previously been referred to as “comrade.” The title of “first lady” had not been used since 1974, when it was applied to Kim Song-Ae, the second wife of North Korea’s founder Kim Il-Sung. Apparently now the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-Un has elevated her to “first lady;” she is believed to be 29 and has three children by husband Kim.
Analysts say Ri’s promotion is likely part of an effort to paint North Korea as a “normal state” as it prepares for summits with South Korean President Moon Jae-In and U.S. President Donald Trump. An Chan-Il, a defector researcher who runs the World Institute for North Korea Studies said: “Promoting Ri Sol-Ju is the most effective marketing strategy. The summit is being held as equals, so if Melania Trump attends, Ri will attend." ​More here

4-19-18, Canada Free Press -- For almost 242 years, trusting parents sent their children off to USA public school, trusting they were being educated to prepare their future as intelligent hard working, honest people in the now fast-fading workforce. Currently children are returning home to ask whether or not they should be transgendered.

Publisher of James W. Fraser's textbook 'BY THE PEOPLE,' Pearson Education is defending the new high school textbook that depicts President Trump as mentally ill and his supporters as a bunch of old, poor, white hillbillies.

Stanley Kurtz, a senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center and contributing editor for National Review, said: “These passages represent an almost purely partisan liberal Democratic perspective dressed up to look like balanced history. If this textbook was an outlier, that wouldn’t much matter. Unfortunately, the tilt of this text is entirely typical of the left-liberal bias that pervades just about every other AP U.S. History textbook.”

Todd Starnes of Fox News said: "Impressionable young school kids are graduating as Zombies of Indoctrination, just as many of their parents are Walking Television Sets. We’re living in an era where youngsters will argue back: “But I read it in a school textbook!”, and some parents: “But I saw it on television!”

​The history textbook is just one example of how the liberal agenda is promoted in USA schools. In another recent example, members of the LGBT community are pushing for legislation in Illinios that would require public schools to teach LGBT history.

4-18-18, Washington (AFP) – A 47-year-old Syrian, Nasif Barakat, who also goes by the name Abu Tarif and lists two dates of birth in 1970 and 1971, was based in Homs, Syria. The US Dept of Treasury has accused him of illegally operating a “global network” of human trafficking; bringing scores of Muslim migrants from the Middle East to the USA. The USA imposed sanctions on the gang that has smuggled migrants through Mexico to the southern US border. Reportedly the migrants pay Barakat an average of $20,000 for transporting them to the USA. They are provided with fraudulently-obtained documents, including European passports.
The sanctions will freeze their assets by the Treasury Department, the Justice Dept Jeff Sessions said: “The day I was sworn in as attorney general, President Trump sent me an Executive Order to dismantle transnational criminal organizations. Many of these organizations use human smugglers to bring people across our southern border..."

We can’t go through Heavenly “customs” with material baggage (earthly possessions), and no emotional baggage will be permitted to get past the Pearly Gates. [The Lord Jesus has cleansed us of any emotional problems!]
 
Everything we’ll ever need or dream of awaits us on the other side of eternity; beyond the Terminal. Knowing and having this freedom, it’s hard to keep it to ourselves!

The writer Dan Piepenbring lamented, “The brand’s arrival here feels like an infiltration, in no small part because of its pervasive Christian traditionalism. Its headquarters, in Atlanta, are adorned with Bible verses and a statue of Jesus washing a disciple’s feet. Its stores close on Sundays. The restaurant’s corporate purpose still begins with the words ‘to glorify God,’ and that proselytism thrums below the surface of the Fulton Street restaurant, which has the ersatz homespun ambiance of a megachurch. If the restaurant is a megachurch, the Cows are its ultimate evangelists. It’s politics, its décor, and its commercial-evangelical messaging are infected with this suburban piety." [See essay titled, “Chick-fil-A’s Creepy Infiltration of New York City.” ]
