7-27-20, Pastor Charles Stanley -- "Let your conscience be your guide." This bit of folk wisdom seems to make sense since our conscience is designed to help us discern right from wrong. However, people cannot always trust their internal radar to steer them correctly; this is the case particularly with unbelievers, who don’t have the Holy Spirit to reveal truth and offer guidance for wise decisions.

While Christians do have God’s indwelling Spirit, they should be careful not to harbor sin in their lives, as that can interfere with the way their morality sensor [aka conscience] functions.

A trustworthy conscience is programmed with God's scriptural teaching. Believers build a stable and sensitive spiritual radar system by applying God’s truth to their lives. 

Therefore, they are committed to thinking and acting in ways that honor and please the Lord. Then, when sinful thoughts or choices come across that radar, it will deliver a sharp warning. So a person with a reliable conscience will have a strong desire to obey God. He won’t settle for what feels right or looks good, but instead prayerfully seeks the Lord’s will. In other words, he does not rely on feelings or solely on his conscience but incorporates all of the Holy Spirit’s tools into his/her daily life: Scripture, prayer, etc. Moreover, when our spiritual radar sounds the alarm, so we are quick to draw back and reject unwise choices.

A conscience isn’t designed to be our guide; it is a tool of THE Guide. The Holy Spirit not only convicts us of sin, but He also brings to mind godly principles and leads us on a righteous path. He uses a variety of tools to conform us to the likeness of Christ (Romans 8:29; Zephaniah 3:17). Source

If Biden were to take over the White House, AT&T would have its man on the inside to protect its interests. That’s crucial for AT&T considering how hard the Trump administration fought against the illegal merger of AT&T and Time Warner. AT&T’s future expansion plans require a compliant and friendly administration.
• CNN’s bias is about money. CNN, as an economic entity, was a key issue in the merger with the Justice Dept urging AT&T to sell components of the merged company, including CNN, as a precondition for the merger. AT&T and its CNN subsidiary had economic reasons, not just political ones, to want Biden and Ricchetti in the White House.
• Comcast also has deep ties to Joe Biden and a deeper animus to President Trump. Comcast’s properties of NBC & MSNBC in less than a minute after CNN - claimed that Biden was the winner. Biden launched his campaign at a fundraiser at the Philly home of David Cohen who is a Senior Executive Vice President at Comcast. 

• <= President Trump warned that Comcast "routinely violates antitrust laws". Comcast requires President Trump out of office [..]A merger with Verizon, the path to an even bigger nationwide monopoly, would be blocked unless Biden wins. [..] Comcast's expansion plans also include an aggressive push into government business. Last year it picked up BluVector in its search for cybersecurity contracts and created a federal sales division. Its big plans for federal contracts will work much better if President Trump is gone.
• Disney’s ABC News joined in declaring Biden winner. Disney boss Bob Iger donated $250,000 into the Biden Victory Fund and Abigail Disney, Roy's radical leftist granddaughter $50,000. Disney employees were Biden’s fourteenth largest source of political donations. Biden has longtime ties to Hollywood and has helped it broker deals in China. Disney’s big focus is on China and its ability to release movies and maintain properties in the Communist dictatorship is crucial to its growth. President Trump’s immigration policies and resistance to China is bad for Disney.

“Pfizer, BioNTech say Covid vaccine is more than 90% effective—‘great day for science and humanity’” [1]. [..]

​ A vaccine maker assumes that, during the course of the clinical trial, a few of the 30,000 volunteers are going to “catch COVID-19.” They assume this because “the virus is everywhere,” as far as they’re concerned. So it’ll drop down from the clouds and infect a few of the volunteers. The magic number is 150. So when that number of volunteers “catch COVID,” everything stops. The clinical trial stops. The vaccine maker now hoping that most of the volunteers who “got infected” are in the placebo group. They didn’t receive the real vaccine; they received the saltwater placebo injection.

Then the vaccine maker can proudly say, “See? The volunteers who caught COVID-19? Most of them didn’t receive the vaccine. They weren’t protected. The volunteers who received the real vaccine didn’t catch COVID. The vaccine protected them.” 

However, the actual number split the vaccine makers are looking for is 50 and 100. If 50 people in the vaccine group catch COVID and 100 in the placebo group catch COVID the vaccine is said to be 50% effective. And that’s all the vaccine maker needs to win FDA approval for the vaccine. 

But wait. Let’s look closer at this idea of “catching COVID.” What are they really talking about? How do they define that? Claiming a volunteer in the clinical trial caught COVID adds up to what? 

• Does it add up to a minimal definition of COVID-19—a cough, or chills and fever?
• Or does it mean a serious case—severe pneumonia?

Now we come to the hidden factor, the secret, the source of the whole con game. You see, the vaccine maker starts out with 30,000 HEALTHY volunteers. So, if they waited for 150 of them to come down with severe pneumonia, a serious case of COVID, how long do you think that would take? Five years? Ten years?

​The vaccine maker can’t possibly wait that long.

These 150 COVID cases the vaccine maker is looking for would be mild. Just a cough. Or chills and fever. That scenario would only take a few months to develop. And face it, chills, cough, and fever aren’t unique to COVID. 

Anyone can come down with those symptoms.

THEREFORE, THE WHOLE CLINICAL TRIAL IS DESIGNED, UP FRONT, TO FIND 150 CASES OF MILD AND MEANINGLESS AND SELF-CURING “COVID.”

About which, no one cares. No one should care.

But, as we see, Pfizer is trumpeting their clinical trial of the vaccine as a landmark in human history. And THAT’S the story of the one-off the NY Times didn’t think was worth a second glance. Because they’re so stupid? No. They’re not that stupid. They’re criminals.

And the government wants you to take the experimental COVID vaccine, whose “effectiveness” was designed to prevent nothing worth losing a night’s sleep over.

10-19-20, Pastor Charles Stanley -- Have you ever ignored the press of conviction [aka conscience] upon your heart? Maybe you rationalized your wrongdoing with the thought that if God were really upset, He'd put a stop to things by disciplining you. Psalm 50:21 reminds us that the silence of heaven does not mean approval. Remaining in sin is an abuse of the Lord's patience.

When God seems slow to react, we might hope He's overlooking our transgressions -- we'd like to continue in sin because the momentary pleasure is more appealing than obedience. But thankfully, the Father knows our weaknesses, our innate carnality, and the state of our spiritual growth, and He therefore measures His response. Motivated by love and a desire to gently restore His children to righteousness, God may refrain from doling out immediate punishment. 

Instead, He waits for the Holy Spirit's proddings to impact the believer's heart. The weight of conviction is actually an invitation to turn from wrongdoing and return to godliness. [Sadly there are those who deliberately and repeatedly do wickedly with no remorse. These are not born again believers. Hebrews 6:4, 10:26-31]

There are times when some persist in sin because the sentence against an evil deed isn't executed quickly (Eccl. 8:11). In this dangerous situation, it's possible to immerse ourselves in sin that hardens our hearts against the Lord. Then the Holy Spirit's call to repentance falls on spiritual ears rapidly going deaf.

As we learn and understand more about God and His ways, we are increasingly responsible to live righteously. The Lord is not slow; He's patient. Do not abuse His patience with callous disregard for His statutes. Repent [Luke 13:3] and be holy  [Jude 1:20] in the sight of the Lord.​ Source

11-10-20, What they say about the 12th Amendment [1] is true.  This information comes from Los Angeles lawyers:      

In a nutshell:  This is going to the Supreme Court. [..] It will go one of two ways, either they will rule that all the unconstitutional mail in ballots will be removed and the states ordered to recount without them or they will simply rule the election is invalid due to mass voter fraud and at that point it will be sent to the congress and senate for a vote.

     This is where it gets good.  Then the house/congress votes on who the President will be.  It has nothing to do with what party that has power. Every State gets one vote and 30 States are held by Republicans and 19 by Democrats.  They have to vote down party lines, they have no choice due to the 12th Amendment [1] of the Constitution and the Senate votes for the Vice President where a similar event will take place. 

This is The Law.  The only way President Trump won’t be re-elected is if he concedes.

So stop watching the fake news* and don’t let your heart be troubled and live your life knowing this will all work out.

Colossians 3:12-13

11-9-20, Henry Morris, III, PhD --  The word enduo, describes “sinking down” into a garment like a robe or seamless cloak that covers the whole body (Mark 1:6; Matthew 27:31; John 19:23).
There are several passages that allude to this total change of behavior—like enveloping oneself in a body-covering cloak as follows:

• “But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof” (Romans 13:14).
• “For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ” (Galatians 3:27).
• “Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil” (Ephesians 6:11).

​Perhaps an even more precise picture is what happens to us when we are brought into the resurrected and eternal condition that is “like” the Lord Jesus (1 John 3:2). Then we will “put on incorruption” and “put on immortality” (1 Corinthians 15:53-54).

The character traits of God cannot co-exist with the “members” of flesh. They must be “mortified.” Neither can godliness control our minds when evil thoughts dominate. They must be put off. Yet, for us to put on the character of God, we must “glue” the character traits identified in today’s text together by charity (love) and let God’s peace rule in our hearts. Even then, the word of Christ must dwell in our lives richly, so much so that whatsoever we do “in word or deed” is done in the name of the Lord Jesus (Colossians 3:14-17).

I’m giving you the big picture, where the numbers are such that you could reverse the call. That is the 450,000 that were not observed of mail ballots.”

​11-7-20, President Trump's campaign says voters from Maricopa County Arizona gave declarations of what they now happened and it's voter fraud. ... Arizona's Secretary of State Katie Hobbs responded to the lawsuit ... the lawsuit claims, the vote tabulation machines were used to deceive voters ... the poll workers would push a green button to override a voter  error, or voters were asked to push the button. This caused an override that resulted in the vote not being counted.

To tell a lie even once makes a person a liar. Since Scripture affirms that all men are liars, it would seem to suggest that all will perish. But this is not the conclusion Scripture reaches. Our lies are forgiven when we repent; [Luke 13:3] but this grace is not a license to lie with impunity. The lie means a serious offense against God and our neighbor. To persist in lying is inconsistent with sanctification and the person who is characterized by the habit of lying is not a born again Christian; a true believer [Hebrews 6:1-6; 10:26-32] cannot deliberately and repeatedly sin without regret. ​11-4-20, GoodNewsNetwork -- A study in Finland, published in Science Advances, showed that for the first time the immune system of children ages 3-5 improved when forest undergrowth, lawns and planter boxes were added outside daycare centers. They are exposed to a broad range of microbes, activating different parts of our defensive system. The study measured what happened when children planted and tended crops in planter boxes and played on lawns that were added to paved, tiled or gravel-coated yard areas at daycare centers.
 
Seventy-five children were monitored for one month at ten daycare centers. Changes in microbes in children who attended daycare with the added nature areas were compared with children who attended daycare centers with no green yard area.

 Dozens of comparative studies have previously found that children who live in rural areas and are in contact with nature have a lower probability of catching an illness resulting from disorders in the immune system. The study shows that repeated contact with nature-like elements five times a week diversified the body’s microbes which offered protection against diseases transmitted through the immune system.
In her dissertation,  researcher Marja Roslund from the University of Helsinki reports that: “We also found that the intestinal microbiota of children who received greenery was similar to the intestinal microbiota of children visiting the forest every day.” The children’s motor skills and ability to concentrate will also improve, with the close relationship to nature. Of the 28,344 ballots in Pima county — 13,045 (46%) were for Biden and 14,484 (51.1%) were for President Donald Trump. Maricopa County, Arizona, released 73,976 more ballots shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday night, 11-5-20 and 56.1 percent of them were for President Trump.

The joy of Jesus was doing that which the Father sent Him to do— “…who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross…” (Hebrews 12:2). “I delight to do Your will, O my God…” (Psalm 40:8). Jesus prayed that our joy might continue fulfilling itself until it becomes the same joy as His = obedience. Living a full and overflowing life does not rest in bodily health, in circumstances, nor even in seeing God’s work succeed, but fellowship and oneness with Him that Jesus Himself enjoyed. But the first thing that will hinder this joy is the subtle irritability caused by giving too much thought to our circumstances and deliberate continued disobedience and sin. 

Jesus said, “…the cares of this world,…choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful” (Mark 4:19). All that God has done for us is merely the threshold— He wants us to come to the place where we will be His witnesses and proclaim Who Jesus is. Have the right relationship with God, finding your joy there and out of you “will flow rivers of living water” (John 7:38).
We can be fountains through which Jesus can pour His “living water.” Live “your life…hidden with Christ in God” (Colossians 3:3). A person who has the right relationship with God lives a life as natural as breathing wherever he/she goes. We may now always have happiness but we have JOY. The lives that have been the greatest blessing to you are the lives of those people who themselves were unaware of having been a blessing. Source​

10-31-20, * -- Some have the idea that God rewards us for our faith, and it may be so in the initial stages. However, we don't earn anything through faith— faith brings us into the right relationship with God and gives Him His opportunity to work in us.

Occasionally, God has to knock the bottom out of our experience as His saint to get us in direct contact with Himself. He wants us to understand that it is a life of faith, not a life of emotional enjoyment of His blessings.

The beginning of our lives of faith was very narrow and intense, centered around a small amount of experience that had as much emotion as faith in it; it was full of light and sweetness. Then God withdrew His conscious blessings to teach us to “walk by faith” (2 Corinthians 5:7).

And we are worth much more to Him now than we were in our days of conscious delight with our thrilling testimony.
​Faith by its very nature must be tested and tried. And the real trial of faith is not that we find it difficult to trust God, but that God’s character must be proven as trustworthy in our own minds. Faith being worked out into reality must experience times of unbroken isolation. Never confuse the trial of faith with the ordinary discipline of life, because a great deal of what we call the trial of faith is the inevitable result of just being alive.

Faith, as the Bible teaches it, is faith in God coming against everything that contradicts Him — a faith that says, “I will remain true to God’s character whatever He may do.” The highest and the greatest expression of faith in the whole Bible is-- “Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him” (Job 13:15). *Archives of Oswald Chambers here

11-5-20, No one is trying to undo the just results of a fair & impartial election, regardless of its winner. The vote was halted on election night ... looks very suspicious. Fact, this is not simply about "every vote being counted." While that makes for a great sound bite, they need to be legal votes and about the manner in which those votes were:

• securely RECEIVED on time
• STORED
• COUNTED
• Whether SIGNATURES match
• POSTMARKS should be legible

Our legal team is fighting to ensure that ALL legal ballots – and ONLY legal ballots – are tallied. These determinations are to be made by the Courts. Following is summary of where we now stand:
 
✅ ARIZONA

• Facebook & Twitter have rightly removed Arizona from Biden’s electorate column on their official election map(s) and CNN never called it.
• Countless heavily Republican counties remain in play and should break in Trump’s favor.
• Maricopa County overnight was a pickup of +50,000 votes for Trump.
• Biden lead is now 90k with 520k ballots remaining. We expect to win 70% of these votes.
• We are now confident we'll win AZ by 30,000 votes.

✅ GEORGIA

• President Trump has built an insurmountable lead of over 100,000 votes that the Democrats cannot beat. Period.

✅ NORTH CAROLINA

• President Trump has a 76,000 vote lead 

​✅ WISCONSIN

• President Trump has formally petitioned for a state recount, as the current results fall within the 1% legal margin of error.
• Several outlying counties are leaning heavily Republican, including Kenosha, Green Bay, Pierce & Richland.

✅ MICHIGAN

• Several outlying GOP counties have yet to be counted & we will sue to stop any declaration of a winner until they are duly amended.

✅ PENNSYLVANIA

• Trump is up nearly 700,000 votes with over 3/4 of the votes tallied.
• 1.5 million mail-in ballots remain outstanding, along with 5 heavily Republican leaning counties.
  
• Even if 95% of the mail-in ballots go to Biden, Trump still wins the state by over 40,000 votes.

✅ NEVADA

• Late breaking mail gets Trump a win by a margin of over 5,500 votes.

Lastly, we’re still waiting for a “peaceful transfer of power” from 2016. Today’s actions are not only within the President’s legal rights; they’re his responsibility.  The campaign will be making a public statement about evidence of ballot fraud shortly.

According to election officials, after absentee ballots were counted, an official noticed an error on the spreadsheet =>

 that showed that in one congressional district​ Biden had thousands of extra votes... As states continue to call their presidential races, posts online are claiming that votes are being stolen fromPresident Trump or votes for Biden are magically appearing overnight. There are no official reports of this taking place in any state; operative word ... official.

​10-31-20, DailyMail -- On Friday, boards went up over storefronts in Washington DC, New York City, Los Angeles, Denver and elsewhere in anticipation of potential political violence that would be unprecedented in modern American history. Experts fear the unrest could be widespread regardless of whether Republican President Trump or Democrat Joe Biden emerges victorious -- and warn that riots could begin even if the results are not clear on November 3, 2020 a likely scenario given the surge in mail-in voting this cycle.

11-4-20, The command of this verse is contained in the Greek word phroneo. The noun form has an emphasis on the emotive side of our thoughts. Its use in secular Greek literature favors what we might call our gut reactions or our intuition. Obviously, the verb is recorded in the imperative mode, making the term both intensive and authoritative. It could well be translated “direct your reactions so that they respond to” heavenly matters.

The Lord Jesus rebuked Peter because he did not “savor” the things of God (Matthew 16:23). In many other places, the translators have chosen “mind” as the term’s best rendering (e.g., Philippians 2:2, 5; 3:15-16; 4:2). But in each case, the emphasis appears to be on the way we react to our relationship to God’s Word or to each other.

And in each case, as in our text for today, [Colossians 3:2] the emphasis is always for us to focus on the matters of eternity, not on our earthly circumstances. 

​Paul’s great teaching throughout Romans 6:1, 7:1, and 8:1 gives a wonderful comparison and contrast between the flesh and the spirit, concluding in chapter 8:5 that “they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit” (Romans 8:5).

Insisting that the believers in the Philippian church follow his own life’s example, Paul agonizes over many among them who walk so “that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.” (Philipians 3:18-19-20)

A worldly lifestyle is very dangerous for a born again believer in Christ. Please remember the warning “whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God” (James 4:4).
