Queen Esther went to the King to plead for the lives of her people the Jews; she said, 'If I perish, I perish.'
3-24-25, The Jewish holiday of Purim just concluded on March 14, 2025. It celebrates the preservation of the Jewish people from an evil Jew hater king's servant Haman during the reign of King Xerxes [aka Ahasuerus] of Persia. In the edict, Haman plotted to destroy the entire Jewish population. Queen Esther knew the king was being pressured to kill all the Jews; she fell on the kings' mercy and said: "If I die, I die."
