If you were to die today; are you certain you'd spend eternity with God? The Bible says you can KNOW:
Matthew 24:5-8; Revelation 13:2
5-16-21, * -- Israel is a not a war zone because of geopolitics, but because it shares a common crisis with Europe, America, Russia, China and numerous other countries, most of whom are trying to buy time for their own internal Islamic insurgencies by siding with the Jihadist insurgency inside Israel.
A sizable hostile minority within your borders is always an explosive element, but Islamic migration is unique in that it emerged and still emerges from a tribal and religious manifest destiny of world conquest.
Israel's Islamic minority is particularly hostile because unlike those of America, Europe, Russia, and China it came to the Jewish State as a conquering force and made up the 'Herrenvolk', the colonial master race, within living memory (religiously, if not ethnically under the Ottoman Empire). [..]
Israel's strategy of integrating the Arab Muslim population within randomly defined borders, convincing them to see themselves as part of the Jewish State…The fragmented Muslim populations of the world are the remnants of an aspiring empire created by centuries of conquests and invasions. Islam convinces them to see themselves as part of that Ummah, a civilizational empire that is meant to encompass the world. Muslim terrorism kills more Muslims than non-Muslims do. Islamic manifest destiny has traditionally destroyed Muslim societies comprehensively. [..]
However, the Jewish State isn't suffering from an Islamic insurgency because it wanted to operate on a global scale, but because foreign invading powers, most notably the Syrian-Greeks and the Romans, imposed their dominion using Arab mercenaries. ..The Islamic conquests failed to assemble any kind of global utopian empire. They did however destroy countless peoples, eliminate many cultures, and create broken mirror images of the original Mohammedan Jihad with little emirates ruled by little Mohammeds. And they killed countless millions and ushered in a thousand years of tyranny and terror.
The fall of the Ottoman Empire [mainly today’s Turkey] revived Jewish hopes for reclaiming their homeland, but the Zionists had not counted on the endurance of that original war imperative or on the weakness of civilization. And so the conflict continues in Israel and around the world; the conflict has been particularly sharp in Israel because where Muslims are a minority in other nations, they are a regional majority. And because of the strategic importance of the region, half the world has made it its business to intervene… The Nazis shaped the Muslim Brotherhood and the Soviet Union shaped the PLO with their strategies, tactics, and organizations, so that Israel is fighting both the Communists and the Nazis in its own territory. ..So the campaign against Israel gets plenty of support from the Left as does Islamic terror in general.[..]
Thanks to Pres Trump, the Jewish State adroitly managed to form a temporary alliance through the Abraham Accords with some regional traditional Islamic Sunni powers that have become alarmed at the threat of both of Islamic Shiite Iran and Islamist transnational ideological groups like the Muslim Brotherhood. Combine that with the fall of America’s Trump administration and the rise of a pro-Iran and a pro-Brotherhood Biden regime and the current conflict was inevitable.
Iran, Qatar, and various other Islamic players have not been investing a fortune in the terrorist group Hamas and other groups just to have them sit on the money. After a certain number of years they start a war to test Israel's defenses, military and diplomatic, leading to chaos, carnage, and a pressure for more concessions. This time is no different. [..]
Modern Islamic governments pursue utopian socialist schemes using a corrupt ruling class, much like the Communists and the Nazis, resulting in corruption, economic disaster, and external conflict. ... Israel hasn't figured out how to resolve the problem; neither has anyone else in the world. There may be no answer. The world is facing a 7th century crisis and trying to deal with it through 21st century means. …Neither the modern nor postmodern
Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu, like other conservative leaders, has appeared modern while eschewing modernity's preference for pat solutions and postmodernity's apologies and appeasement. And so Israel has been living in a premodern moment, adapting rapidly to circumstances as it has in some ways throughout its modern existence. But that's just a survival strategy and not a healthy one.
Israelis are always in crisis mode and they take one crisis at a time and what ought to be a shambles somehow turn around. Yet Israel persists. …Israel has fought an almost impossible war bravely, gallantly, jumping from one innovation to another and then being miraculously rescued with familiar certainty that neither it nor the Jewish people could exist without G-d Who intervenes invisibly at crucial moments.
The world nations must recognize that they/we all share a common problem and after generations of 'bargaining' with the Islamist’s ‘Jihad,’ that we're all facing the same war that across cultures, and even political affiliations, the West and the East, Right and Left we may be enemies, but we also share a common enemy - one whose assault civilization may not survive.
We can either unite against the Islamic Ummah, that embryonic empire of Sharia and Jihad, whose boundaries are those of the world, or we can cut our separate deals with its separate parts, which will all fail. And then we will fail and fall with them.

Our Weekly Day of Rest and Worship
"And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.”
THE TEN COMMANDMENTS
1: No other gods before Me.“You shall have no other gods before Me." -Exodus 20:3
In view of His sovereignty and goodness (vs. 2), we are commanded to have no other gods before the Lord.
2: You shall not make for yourself a carved image."You shall not make for yourself a carved image..." -Exodus 20:4
The first and second commandments go hand in hand, both emphasizing the need to give our worship exclusively to the one true God. The Israelites violated this commandment and crafted their own graven image, a golden calf, even before Moses came down from the Mountain.
3: You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain."You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain..." -Exodus 20:7
To take God’s name in vain is to use it in an empty or meaningless way. Because “there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved,” we must be careful to instead treat the name of God with honor and reverence (Acts 4:12).
4: Remember the Sabbath day."Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy."-Exodus 20:8
In wisdom and grace, God commanded His people to observe a weekly day of rest. The Sabbath was to be observed in imitation of God’s own work in Creation (Exod. 20:11), as well as His redemptive work (Deut. 5:15).
5: Honor your father and your mother."Honor your father and your mother..."-Exodus 20:12
The fifth commandment is reiterated by the apostle Paul who describes it as “the first commandment with promise” (Eph. 6:2). Honoring God means honoring the authority He has placed in our lives.
6: You shall not murder."You shall not murder." -Exodus 20:13
The taking of human life is expressly forbidden. Jesus elaborates on this commandment in the Sermon on the Mount, revealing that the sin of murder begins in the heart (Matt. 5:21-22).
7: You shall not commit adultery."You shall not commit adultery." -Exodus 20:14
The sanctity of marriage is given noteworthy attention throughout Scripture. Christ reminds us in Matthew 5:27-30 that the marriage relationship must be guarded diligently.
8: You shall not steal."You shall not steal." -Exodus 20:15
Theft is forbidden by God. Instead, we are to be content with what we have and trust God to supply all our need in Christ Jesus (1 Tim. 6:6; Phil. 4:19).
9: You shall not bear false witness."You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor." -Exodus 20:16
Honesty must always characterize our speech and conduct. To bear false witness against our neighbor is an affront to a holy God Who is Himself "the truth and the life" (John 14:6).
10: You shall not covet."You shall not covet...anything that is your neighbor’s." -Exodus 20:17
God has promised to meet all our needs, both spiritual and physical, and we should therefore be content with whatever He has provided (Phil. 4:19; Matt. 6:33; Heb. 13:5).
5-15-21, Pastor Charles Stanley -- Life is full of options. Many decisions involve a choice between following God's way or our own. Maturing Christians will increasingly sacrifice their own desires and embrace His will. Romans 6:13, 12:1; James 4:7; 1 John 3:16
Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin: but yield to God, as those that are alive from the dead and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. Romans 6:13
Mortify [put to death] fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence and covetousness, which is idolatry: Colossians 3:5
One who greatly influenced today's leaders in the USA is Saul Alinsky. He was an American community activist and political theorist. He was born January 30, 1909 and died June 12, 1972. His work through the Chicago-based Industrial Areas Foundation helping poor communities organize to press demands upon landlords, politicians and business leaders. This won him national recognition and notoriety. Responding to the impatience of a New Left generation of activists in the 1960s, in his widely cited book Rules for Radicals that was/is a pragmatic Primer (1971), Alinsky defended the arts both of confrontation and of compromise involved in community organizing as keys to the struggle for social justice. He died 43 years ago but his legacy lives on in the USA.
Sadly his teachings and writings influenced those in political control of our nation today. Recall that Hillary Rodham did her college thesis on his writings and Barack Obama wrote about him in his books.
God's word admonishes His faithful to obey the laws of the land ... and wicked leaders take advantage of it.

Under What Conditions Can a Born Again Person Be Plucked From God's Hand?
Jesus said, "I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand."

God's Word is a Wealth of Peace
Pray Without Ceasing
The Specter of Famine
Jesus disciples came to Him asking: “Tell us, when shall these things be what shall be the sign of Thy coming and of the end of the world?” Jesus answered: “Ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom: there shall be famines, pestilences and earthquakes in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.”
God’s inspired Word speaks about those who’re “past feeling;” who have given themselves over to fleshly lusts. Example: Abortion doctors; wicked politicians. [Ephesians 4:17-19; Romans 5:12]
We who are true born again [John 3:3, 7] believers in the Lord Jesus are “not appointed… to wrath, but obtain salvation (deliverance) by our Lord Jesus Christ.” [1 Thessalonians 5:9]. Because we have this appointment, we are to live daily, “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ.” [Titus 2:13]. “Who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father.” [Galatians 1:4]
Instead of being troubled by what we see happening all around us today, we should be praying and praising the Lord. Study His precious Bible and share His good news with our lost loved ones, friends, and neighbors. God has promised to deliver His own [John 14:1-3] and His “wrath” upon those LEFT BEHIND is also a promise. [Matthew 10:28]

We Need to Pay Attention to World’s Increased Volcanic Activity
"The people perceived the thunder and the lightning flashes and the sound of the trumpet and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood at a distance." Exodus 20:18
5-6-21, MonkeyWerx -- Over the past 10 or so years, I’ve been watching and researching volcanic activity all the way back to the third century when the Ancient Roman’s began to suffer due to droughts and crop failures - all impacted by volcanic activity. If you haven’t noticed, there is a significant uptick in volcanic activity around the planet. Currently, we’ve some 45 active volcanoes - an unprecedented number - some spewing ash miles into the atmosphere. Think about it, if one or two volcanoes were enough to impact Ancient Rome, what are 45 of them going to do? Volcanic ash disrupts supply and travel, it can cause health issues relative to the lungs in animals and humans including death, and it can cause the planet temperature to cool by the smoke and ash blocking the sun - thus stunting the growth of vegetation [our food].
Mix this with the things that are already taking place around the world we are headed into massive food shortages on a global scale… and the volcanic impacts haven’t even begun yet. [..]
I’ve been watching volcanoes because during my biblical studies I noticed one thing that was evident when it came to “The Day of the Lord” and that's scripture reminiscent of volcanic activity. For example, Revelation 6:12 “When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood.” Across both Old Testament and New Testament they’re describing very similar things that the “Day of the Lord” - His ultimate judgment on mankind, would very likely involve some type of volcanic activity along with an earthquake that will be like nothing mankind has seen to date.
- God touched the mountains and they smoke: Psalm 104:32, 144:5
- Sun and stars will not give their light. Isaiah 13:10
- Sun, moon & stars grow dark. God will display wonders in the sky… fire and columns of smoke. Joel 2:10, 30, 3:15
- After tribulation of those days ‘the sun will be darkened’ Matthew 24:29; Mark 13:24
- A third of sun, moon & stars darkened. Smoke arose out of the pit. Kingdom plunged into darkness men gnawed their tongues in anguish. Revelation 8:12, 9:2, 16:10

Israel: Jewish Lag B'Omer 2021 Commemoration Ends in Tragedy
“From the day after the Sabbath, the day you brought the sheaf [omer] of the wave offering, count off seven full weeks. Count off fifty days up to the day after the seventh Sabbath and then present an offering of new grain to the Lord.”
4-29-21, JERUSALEM (AP) — This annual Jewish one-day holiday is celebrated between the Passover and Shavuot (Weeks/ Pentecost). Although, this holiday was instituted by the rabbis , it does fall within the Biblically mandated observance of counting the Omer, the period of time linking Passover (the exodus from Egypt) with Shavuot (the giving of the Torah). Lag is the number 33 and Omer is a unit of measure, means “sheaves of a harvested crop.
In ancient times, the Jewish People cut down an omer of barley and brought it to the Temple as an offering on the second day of Passover. The Torah commanded the Jewish people to count from the time of this ‘wave offering’ the seven weeks until the evening of Shavuot [aka Pentecost] May 23, 2021.
“Count off seven weeks from the time you begin to put the sickle to the standing grain. Then celebrate the Feast of Weeks [Shavuot] to the Lord your God by giving a freewill offering in proportion to the blessings the Lord your God has given you.” Deuteronomy 16:9–10
[In modern day this commemoration does have some wonderful history for born again Believers in Messiah the Lord Jesus. It was during the counting of the Omer that Yeshua (Jesus) appeared to His disciples after the resurrection.]
The tone of the Counting of the Omer is not one of joy, but of somber introspection, as people prepare themselves to receive the Torah by reflecting on how to be a better person.
This year a stampede broke out injuring and trampling more than 100 people, dozens critically.

Fearing God is a Good Thing!

The fear of the Lord is a good thing; He loves us and has our best interests. He's always watching and IF we fear His punishment - we will obey His commands and the laws of the land.

Wisdom for the Family
We read in the Bible's Old Testament about Daniel and his friends who were given wisdom, knowledge and intelligence. Daniel is brought before the king, and the king says, “Now I have heard about you, that the Spirit of God is in you and that illumination insight and extraordinary wisdom has been found in you.”
Daniel 1:17, 5:12, 6:3
5-2-21, Pastor John MacArthur speaks about wisdom and foolishness. In spite of the fact that we live in a world of exploding knowledge that we can barely keep up with, we are still described in the Scripture as fools.
In Romans 1:22 it describes humanity as “professing to be wise, but having become fools.” Romans 1 says that “men became futile in their speculations and their foolish heart was darkened.”
Essentially, men are described, no matter how much knowledge they have, as fools.
Now if we break that down a little bit and ask the question, “What characterizes or marks the fool?” All fools reject God. We read in:
Psalm 14:1 “The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no God.’ They are corrupt, they have committed abominable deeds; there is no one who does good. The Lord has looked down from heaven upon the sons of men to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God. They have all turned aside, together they have become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one.” Romans 1:21-22, 23-26, 27-32

In 1200 BC the Trojan Horse was a huge wooden horse used by the Greeks, during the ten year Trojan War. It was used to trick the occupants of the city of Troy [modern day Turkey] to enter the city and win the war.
In the Aeneid by Virgil, the Greeks constructed a giant wooden horse hiding soldiers inside. It was rolled up to the gates of the city when the Greeks pretended to sail away.
The Trojans opened the gates pulling the horse into their city as a victory trophy.
During the night the Greek soldiers crept out of the horse and opened the gates for the rest of the Greek army who had sailed back under cover of night and destroyed the city of Troy, ending the war.
Metaphorically, a "Trojan horse" has come to mean any trick or stratagem that causes a target to invite a foe into a securely protected bastion or place. In the modern world of computers, the malicious computer program that tricks users into willingly running it is also called a "Trojan horse" that destroys their computers.

The Oracles of God
Unto them were committed the oracles of God. For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? Certainly not! Make God be true and every man a liar.
In 1996 Rev Joe Wright Prayed in the Kansas State Legislature
asking God to heal the land of the USA from her wickedness.
Twenty five years later in 2021 ... what is the result?
"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" Isaiah 5:20
We pray for God to heal our land ... but God has conditions:

Beware of the Least Likely Temptation
Joab had defected to Adonijah, though he had not defected to Absalom.
1 Kings 2:28; 2 Samuel 11:2, 11-12
4-19-21, Archives of Oswald Chambers -- Joab withstood the greatest test of his life, remaining absolutely loyal to King David by not turning to follow after the fascinating and ambitious son of David, Absalom. Yet toward the end of his life he turned to follow after the cowardly Adonijah.
We must always remain alert to the fact that where one person has turned back is exactly where anyone may be tempted to turn back against God (see 1 Corinthians 10:11-13). We may have just victoriously gone through a great crisis, but now when things appear to be the least likely to tempt us; beware. Thinking that the areas of our life where we have experienced victory in the past are now the least likely to cause us to stumble and fall in the future ... they may!
We are apt to say, “It is not at all likely that - that sin of ______ will cause me to stumble!”
We must not try to predict where the temptation will come; it's the least likely thing that is the real danger. If we're not careful; they'll trip us up! We have to remain true to God especially under great and intense trials — being aware of the potential for undercurrent. Staying alert keep our memory sharp before God.
Unguarded strength is actually a double weakness, because that is where the least likely temptations will be effective.
Heroes of the Bible often stumbled over their strong points, never their weak ones.
“…kept by the power of God…”— that is the only safety. 1 Peter 1:5
"Even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient."
4-25-21, Brother John Haller in Ohio USA brings news of the world. It is a window looking at the wicked world as we focus on God. Listen closely. Do you hear it? Watch the horizon. Do you see it? Test your Spirit. Do you feel it? There are storm clouds gathering and coming with it will be the judgment of God on a world who has gone out of its way to disregard and discredit His place of honor and worship.
It's a mistake on a global scale and the world will soon realize the gravity of their ignorance. Daniel 12:10
"All that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." 2 Timothy 3:12-17
