In The World We Will Have Tribulation
Genesis 1:1; Exodus 20:11; Job 12:7-10; Psalm 96:11-12
Secular media and education want you to believe there is no scientific proof of God. But the reality is science provides a lot of evidence for the existence of God. Although we have been told that faith in God and science can’t go hand in hand, the truth is they are closely intertwined with each other. Science supports the existence of God and God encourages the development of science. Science and God are close companions! Thousands of scientists today are passionate believers in God. They say science points them toward God and God helps them practice good science. As Albert Einstein said: ‘Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind.’ According to the Oxford English Dictionary, the scientific method: ‘…consists in systematic observation, measurement, and experiment, and the formulation, testing, and modification of hypotheses.’ You are about to see there is strong scientific proof of God, obtained by using the scientific method of observation, measurement, experiment, formulation and testing. The main characteristic of God is, that he is the creator of the universe and all living organisms. Every living organism consists of many COMPLEX, FUNCTIONING SYSTEMS. For example our eyes, brains, digestive system, nervous system, our blood circulation, skin, lungs, kidneys, and so on. The human body consists of thousands of COMPLEX, FUNCTIONING SYSTEMS, that operate perfectly. What does science show us about the origination of complex functional systems? Can they arise WITHOUT the influence of external intelligence? Or does science prove that a complex functioning system REQUIRES an external intelligence? We will apply the scientific method to find an answer to this question:
- Since we observe that no complex functioning system ever originates without the ongoing guidance of external intelligence, there must be an external intelligence who caused the creation of the countless complex functioning systems in nature.
- Since the level of complexity of the functioning systems in nature exceed the capabilities of humans to create them, the external intelligence required for the creation of nature is of a much higher level.
- Are we willing to use science honestly?
- Are we willing to truly look at the outcome of scientific reasoning?
- Or do we use science in a dishonest way? Too often mankind is guilty of abuse of science. Many claim they ‘only believe in science’, while in fact they close their eyes for true science… and believe in theories that are in essence contrary to science,
Science is after all not closing your eyes to phenomena, but investigating them, in order to acquire new knowledge, which you can then integrate into your current knowledge. So when a scientist is willing to look at several healing miracles, and observes that these healings are the result of a supernatural force, this is also a scientific proof of God. Healing miracles can be observed all over the world. They can be measured, to see if indeed a healing has taken place, without natural means. And this can be repeated over and over again. The outcome of this scientific research is that healing miracles are real, which proves that when christians pray to God for a healing and it happens, we can conclude that science proves the existence of God. That is honest application of science.
Famous scientists who believed there is scientific proof of God
Many of the most brilliant pioneers of modern science believed in God. Here you find a small selection of the thousands of scientists throughout history, who were convinced there is more evidence pointing toward the existence of God, than there is to support atheism.

A Grievous and Sorrowful Time for God's Remnant - BUT, we serve an amazing God
The LORD said to His people: "Ye have sold yourselves for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money. My people went down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause. Now therefore, what have I here, that My people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to howl and My name continually everyday is blasphemed. Therefore, My people shall know My name and they shall know in that day that I am He that doth speak: behold, it is I."
5-2-18, * -- The God of all comfort who comforts us in our tribulation IS faithful! I thank God that He counts me worthy to suffer with the Lord's faithful born again believers in Christ. We endure persecution and tribulation; Jesus warned us ... His ways are definitely not our ways. [Jeremiah 23:14; Isaiah 11:11; Romans 9:29; 2 Peter 2:6]
The Lord is keeping His remnant [Lamentations 3:22] - us - the reproach of people who are scoffing at us for believing in the Promise of the Lord Jesus' Second Coming. Hallelujah! [Matthew 24:36; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 19:11-15]
We serve an amazing God - Messiah the Lord Jesus Christ.
[Matthew 28:2-4, Mark 1:27; Luke 5:26; John 14:6]
"Little baby on the hay,
Soon there'll be another day
When nails shall pierce Your hands and feet As You provide our sin's defeat.
Risen Jesus on the throne
We life our praise to You alone
For Your're the Gift that we receive
The moment that our hearts believe."

"It came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed. (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.
16 And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them."

There’s a Big Difference in the Happiness of the Governed When Righteous & God Fearing People Are in Authority
“Wisdom and understanding is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. Godless men should not rule or lay snares for the people. When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.”
12-23-19, In any nation the people cannot rejoice except the righteous are in authority. Leaders' duty is to promote the happiness of the people. This is especially true of those who are exalted into high rank, dignified with honors and vested with authority. Those who are of an exalted station, without attending to the duties for which he/she was ‘hired,’ to a degree, are criminal both in the eyes of God and man.
The deficiencies in civil life can be supplied only by faith in almighty God aka “religion.” The first duty of a governor/leader is therefore to diligently observe and have reverence for God and His laws. The first duty of subjects/citizens of a nation is obedience to its laws. No person thinks laws unnecessary – consider traffic laws – it would be utter mayhem if there were no four way stops!
Laws are easily obeyed by those who add to human sanctions … the obligations of conscience, morality and obedience to almighty God. [Romans 13:1-2, 3-7]
Short list of advantages citizens enjoy under a righteous government:
- The people are encouraged; their spirit is enlivened making them eager to produce and obey righteous laws that protect the innocent.
- Righteousness exalts a nation and spreads its respect to all nations.
- Receive almighty God’s blessings. [Psalm 1:1-3, 3:8, 5:12, 32:10]
There are diverse opinions about the righteousness and morality of the current US President Donald Trump. Who can deny that the nation has prospered and been blessed since he entered the White House? Clearly one of almighty God’s admonitions is that those who bless Israel will be blessed; and no other US president has shown such true friendship to the Jewish state than Donald John Trump. [Genesis 12:3] President Trump has also worked to limit and reduce the murder of innocent babies in their mother's womb. We must pray for President Trump's increased faith and obedience to almighty God.
Serve the LORD with fear and celebrate His rule
with trembling. Psalm 2:10-11; Proverbs 11:14
Calm Before the Storm?
The Apostle Paul said, "I charge thee therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ Who shall judge the quick and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. Watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry."
12-22-19, John Haller is back bringing news about the state of the world. From New Zealand killer volcano, 15 year prison sentences for burning a homosexual "pride" flag: A US judge has handed down a sentence of at least 15 years to a man who stole an LGBT pride flag from a church and burned it outside a strip club.
Outrage in Europe because someone simply said that sex is determined at birth, it is clear that chaos is gathering on multiple fronts, building momentum and getting ready to unleash a hoard of deception unlike the world has ever seen. Update on Middle East ... Israel, Turkey, Syria, Iran and more.

"There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people." 2 Timothy 3:1-5; see also: Luke 17:26-30; Matt 24:37-39
My King of Old
Creator of All = GOD
“The day is thine, the night also is thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun. Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter.”
10-31-19, Henry Morris, PhD -- The 74th Psalm is a sad lamentation [Psalm 74:1-3; Deut 29:20; 2 Samuel 24:17] over the apparent triumph of the enemies of God, but its central verse is a beautiful statement of faith: “For God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.” (Psalm 74:12)
Then, in support of his faith, the psalmist remembers the mighty creative acts of God in ancient times, giving assurance that He could, indeed, work salvation in these present times. [John 10:9]
Those who believe that man is the measure of all things, sufficient unto himself, ignore how dependent all people are on God’s provisions. The very rotation of the earth, with its cycle of day and night, has set the basic rhythm of biological life, and it was God—not man—who “divided the light from the darkness” (Genesis 1:4).
The testimony in Genesis that God “prepared the light” before He prepared the sun (Genesis 1:3, 14), thus rebuking all those who later would worship the sun as the source of the earth and life.
God also “set all the borders [or ‘boundaries’] of the earth.” This refers both to the emergence of the continental land masses after the Flood and then also to the enforced scattering of the peoples from Babel into all the world, when He “determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation” (Acts 17:26).
He made “summer and winter, and day and night [that] shall not cease” (Genesis 8:22). God did all this—not man! Evolutionary humanism is futile foolishness, and one day soon God will answer the cry of the psalmist: “Arise, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily” (Psalm 74:22). [The hysteria about human caused climate change is ridiculous.-Ed.] Source
Zechariah's Visions: The Ephah and the Women
“Then the angel that talked with me . . . said, This is an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their resemblance through all the earth. And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah.”
12-19-19, Henry Morris, III -- The ephah is a volume measure, similar to a bushel basket (Leviticus 19:36). The woman inside is defined as “wickedness” (Zechariah 5:8). The ephah is lead-sealed (contained) by God Himself and is taken (while contained) to Shinar by two women with wings like a stork (Zechariah 5:9-11).
These two women are difficult to identify. It is possible that they are Aholah and Aholibah described in Ezekiel 23:1, with Aholah representing Samaria as an adulteress with Assyria and Aholibah substituting for Jerusalem as the adulterous wife of Jehovah. It is also possible that these two women could represent Israel and later the church involvement with the worldly system of Babylon. In either case, these two women enable “wickedness” to be brought to Shinar and allow Babylon to be “established” (Zechariah 5:11). The New Testament counterpart of these events is probably the decadent woman pictured in Revelation 17:4.
This segment of Zechariah’s visions seems to set the stage for God’s harvest. There is the vision of the scroll of judgment impacting the entire earth; then this basket of “wickedness” that resembles conditions “through all the earth.” And lastly the house in the land of Shinar that is “established” before the four chariots (Zechariah 6:1) begin their final work. While these prophecies are not pleasant to anticipate, God “hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thessalonians 5:9). Source
Zechariah's Visions: The Flying Roll
“Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll . . . the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits.”
12-18-19, Henry Morris, III -- The large “flying roll” pictured for Zechariah is 30 feet long and 15 feet wide, signifying the enormity of its purpose. Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Zechariah all speak of a roll in terms of judgment that is coming on Israel and Babylon (Jeremiah 36:2; Ezekiel 2:9-10).
This roll contains the curse that goes forth over the “face of the whole earth” (Zechariah 5:13)—a phrase that is only used five other times in all of Scripture: God warns Noah of the coming Flood (Genesis 6:7), the population under the leadership of Nimrod rebels at the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11:4), God sends the plague of locusts on Egypt (Exodus 10:15), the vast empire of Greece destroys and overcomes Persia (Daniel 8:5), and a day will come “on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth” (Luke 21:35).
The parallel to the scroll with the seven seals in Revelation is striking. Revelation 6:1-8 tells of the four horsemen who carry out the judgment of the first four seals that parallel the ninth vision of Zechariah (6:1-8). Revelation 6:12-17 describes the “great earthquake” that is parallel to the earthquake foretold by Haggai (2:6-7, 21-23). Revelation chapters 6–10 describe the judgments that impact both the planet itself and the population.
Zechariah’s roll judges those who steal and swear and will be “cut off.” The implication is that those unfit for the people of God will be “cleansed” from the final kingdom. Since the obvious purpose of these visions is to give assurance of the ultimate victory of God, we can be confident that “God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil” (Ecclesiastes 12:14). PRAY: ‘Please, God, Bless America’
President Donald Trump is genuine ...
"No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit."
12-18-19, I think Donald Trump is a man chosen by God … for such a time as this. Today, as the wicked haters contrive and seek to remove President Trump from office, they've been plotting since before the day he entered the oval office. We need to pray for the hearts and minds of the Congressmen & women to vote to keep President Trump in office and do away with this ridiculous impeachment effort.
Donald J. Trump loves America and Americans like no other president has in my lifetime. So far, it’s clear that America is recovering from the downward spiral she was on. Our nation has been given a reprieve; we have our country back with a leader who has our nations best interests again. THIS president and Vice President Michael Pence recognize God as our Father in all matters.
The Bible tells us “Ye shall know them by their fruits,” (Matthew 7:16), and since day one of President Trump’s presidency his actions prove he loves America, her citizens and almighty God. Let all who love our nation and love God speak these words as a constant prayer:
Please bless America, President Trump
his family and his staff.
In the precious name of Jesus I pray.
Problems, Problems, Problems
“And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest.”
11-18-19, Henry Morris, PhD -- The 55th Psalm is a psalm of “complaint” (Ps 55:2) by David giving insight into his thought process as he tried to deal with the great problems and burdens that were overwhelming him. His first instinct was to run away from them, flying like a dove far off into the wilderness.
The prophet Jonah (whose name means “dove”) tried that strategy years later, only to encounter even worse problems (Jonah 1:3, 15). One does not solve problems by fleeing from them.
Then, David decided to berate those who were causing him trouble and to complain about them to the Lord. “Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice” (Psalm 55:17). The words “pray, and cry aloud” here actually mean “complain and mourn.” “Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongues” (Ps 55:9). “Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell” (Ps 55:15). His burdens were all the heavier because those whom he had trusted as friends and colleagues were now using deceit and guile against him (Ps 55:11-12, 13-14), and the injustice of it all was almost more than he could endure. But complaints and imprecations were also unsatisfying: “Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” (Romans 12:19)
Finally, the Lord gave him an answer, and David found the rest for which he had been so fretfully searching. Here it is: “Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved” (Psalm 55:22). The last phrase of the psalm is “but I will trust in thee” (Ps 55:23).
The way to deal with burdens and problems is not to flee from them or to fret about them but to turn them over to the Lord: “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” (1 Peter 5:7) Source
"Jesus is the King of Kings”
And So Much Good News!
Humanly speaking, the Lord Jesus Christ is from the Davidic Dynasty, but in power, glory, righteousness, and in every other way He’s rightly called the greater David and that government will be on His shoulders. The Holy Bible’s Old and New Testaments reveal that the future King - during the millennium and all eternity - is Jesus Christ and Him alone.
12-9-19, * -- In a world full of sad and painful news, there is good news today as we again celebrate the birth of the Lord and Messiah Jesus – CHRISTMAS! Jesus was born through miraculous means – His was a virgin birth as Mary ‘knew no man’ [Luke 1:34] and He displayed miraculous divine power during His ministry on earth. He gave up His life and arose from the dead; and He's going to return and will reign from Jerusalem. [Isaiah 9:6-7] This is one reason why US President Trump moving the US embassy to Israel’s capitol of Jerusalem is important; it’s a very prophetic thing that the world’s superpower recognizes Jerusalem. [Zechariah 14:2-4] [..snip]
The Gospel of Christ is often described as the “good news” and so it is. It is, however, too often limited to a single aspect of the “good news” of forgiveness and salvation that comes exclusively through Jesus Christ [John 14:6], which is good news indeed!
Other good news is that He’s preparing a place for us in His Father’s house [John 14:2] and that He is coming again to receive us unto Himself and will rule the nations. [John 14:3-4]. Althogh many prophesies have been fulfilled; we know the governments have not yet been upon His shoulders as prophesied [Isaiah 9:6] and that there’s been no peace on earth and goodwill between men.
We need to recognize that in order for Jesus to return to the Mt. of Olives in Jerusalem and the Jews to look upon Him whom they pierced, the Jews need to be back in the land and in full possession of Jerusalem. The good news is, they are!
Jesus Who is the Lion of the tribe of Judah [Revelation 5:5] is going to return and bring peace on earth and goodwill toward men. When He does, we Christians, will be coming with Him [Revelation 19:14]. It’s good news that the Jews will have their eyes open to their Messiah; that Christ will rule the nations in righteousness and there’ll be no end to His Kingdom’s rule! Hallelujah! [Revelation 19:16, Luke 1:33]
Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus. Revelation 22:20
"God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; He judgeth among the gods. How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah. Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked. They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes. Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations."
12-13-19, Australian Pastor Steve Cioccolanti has done an in depth report about the US Impeachment laws and our courts. He reports that 19 federal judges have been impeached in the history of the nation and that impeachment isn't just for presidents.
He also shares what the late Kim Clement said in 2014 about a 'gold president.'

Pastor Steve asks us all to pray Psalm 82:1-8 for 30 days as the wicked do their dirty deeds attempting to destroy President Trump:
Israel & the Church
The Apostle Peter said: "This is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: ‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on all people; your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on My menservants and maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days."
12-15-19, The prophecy update this week has Pastor Mike Clapham filling in for Brother John Haller who is sick with the flu. Pastor Mike is teaching on understandiong the relationship of Israel and the Church.
While Israel and the Church are distinct, the Bible does not present them as separate; rather, they are connected and related even in their distinctiveness.
Consider: Romans 11:17-24 & Revelation 21:9-14
The prophecy of Joel 2:28-32 as cited by the Apostle Peter in Acts 2:17 also illustates this principle. Fifty-nine minute video here
“It is Finished!”
Jesus said, "I have finished the work which You have given Me to do."
As we prepare our celebrations and parties on the birthday of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; let us not forget why He came. His suffering and death was the plan to save us from our sin. Thank You, Lord Jesus.
11-21-19, * -- The death and resurrection from the dead of Jesus Christ is the fulfillment in history of the very mind and intent of God. There is no place for seeing Jesus Christ as a martyr. His death was not something that happened to Him— His life wasn't 'taken' it was given [John 10:11]. His death was the very reason He came.
We should not attempt to build a case for God's forgiveness on the idea that He is our Father and He will forgive us because He loves us. That contradicts the revealed truth of God in Jesus Christ. It makes the Cross unnecessary, and the redemption “much ado about nothing.” God forgives sin only because of the death and shed blood of Christ. God could forgive people in no other way than by our repentance and acceptance trusting Jesus alone for our forgiveness and salvation. The greatest note of triumph ever sounded in the ears of a startled universe was that sounded on the Cross of Christ— “It is finished!” (John 19:30). That is the final word in the redemption of humankind.
Anything that lessens or completely obliterates the holiness of God, through a false view of His love, contradicts the truth of God as revealed by Jesus Christ. Never allow yourself to believe that Jesus Christ stands with us out of pity and compassion, or that He became a curse for us out of sympathy.
Jesus Christ became a curse for us by divine decree. Our part in realizing the tremendous meaning of His curse is the conviction of sin. Conviction is given to us as a gift of shame and repentance; it is the great mercy of God. Jesus Christ hates the sin in people, and the cross [tree, Acts 5:30] of Calvary is the measure of His hatred.
*Excerpted and adapted full original message from the late Oswald Chambers here
On Earth as It Is in Heaven!
Jesus said pray like this: "Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen."
12-11-17, * -- At somber cultural events, such as church, memorials or funerals we pray in unison. Do we fully grasp what was in Jesus' heart when He taught His disciples the Lord's Prayer? The disciples asked Him, "Lord, teach us to pray." (Luke 11:1) In response, the Lord gave them a prayer, not just to help them cope but something that was militant in nature; seemed to be a proclamation of war not just a simple prayer. (Luke 11:2-4; Rev. 11:15; Dan. 2:44) Have we been too polite in our prayers? The Lord's Prayer is not a weak, pleading prayer. Yes, there is a time for pleading with God, but this is a prophetic prayer. There is not a please anywhere in it.
The words of this prayer are best understood as emphatic statements. In recent years the Spirit of Truth has again filled the words of this heavenly anthem, so that "Thy kingdom come! Thy will be done on Earth!" is increasingly becoming the anthem of the righteous--a prayer for now as well as eternity!
The words of this prayer ought to be punctuated with exclamation marks.
This is Heaven's "Pledge of Allegiance."
At its core, the Lord’s Prayer is a faith-decree that God's will, through our living union with Christ, should be accomplished today on earth. Where is the room for compromise in those words? Jesus is saying that, with miraculous power, abounding joy and unwavering mercy, God's will must be fulfilled "on earth as it is in Heaven!"
We call this the Lord's Prayer, yet more appropriately, it might be called the Disciple's Prayer or the Kingdom Prayer, for it is something Jesus gave to ignite fire in the hearts of His followers. Indeed, this prayer is revolutionary. We already know it is the "Father's good pleasure" to give us His kingdom (Luke 12:32). We are certainly not to be disrespectful to the Lord God almighty; Jesus is not instructing us to beg for a blessing or two; He is commanding us to call for God's kingdom to rule on earth.
Of course, it is vital we embrace repentance for our sins and turn our lives over to God when we are born again. [John 3:3, 7; John 14:6] The Savior wants us to pray like we were created to bring Heaven to earth. Our prayer simply aligns us with what is already God's great pleasure to give us.
Jesus told His faltering, fumbling, often sinful disciples to pray like they were mature, victorious warriors. He didn't say this prayer should be prayed only when they had become perfect. No. He was saying this is how we should pray right now, even while we’re imperfect. Yes, we humble ourselves; yes, we confess our sins. Yet we must learn to pray with unsheathed spiritual authority, with heroic faith, and with the fire of divine possibilities burning in our souls.
Like the rumbling of a volcano no longer dormant, the cry "Thy kingdom come" will begin to gather and then rise from within the deep spirit of the redeemed. Yes, even now, the armies of God in Heaven are beginning to unite with the armies of God on earth. Lightening-like power is beginning to fill the backbone of the redeemed. Can you feel it? From every nation, a holy remnant shall stand upright before the Most High. In their mouths will be the words taught them by the Son of God Himself:
"Thy kingdom come! Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven!"
"A cheerful heart is good medicine!"
12-12-19, From the moment we are born again (John 3:3,7), we're brought into a life of unending joy only possible with God. Joy is an emotion evoked by satisfaction, appreciation and pleasure. God was joyful when He created the earth and mankind. He appreciated what He made and took pleasure in it (Genesis 1:31) The joy we have is not of this world, but of God and HIS eternal 'world' that's independent of external circumstances. (1 Peter 1:8 “…joy unspeakable and full of glory.”)
Everywhere Jesus went during His earthly walk, He brought joy to people and He still does today. The joy that comes from our inner spirit transcends physical circumstances; it’s permanent, and it’ll keep you strong and healthy. The Bible says, “A merry heart doeth good like medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.” (Proverbs 17:22) Although this earthly life is so often brutal and heart breaking ... we must learn to have a joyful spirit. We are children of the King Jesus and we know how the 'story' ends. We win. Hallelujah!
What better symbol of the task Jesus was born to do than the nails that hung Him on that tree?
No greater gift. Thank You, Jesus.
The Vanishing Serpents
“For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.
10-3-19, Henry Morris, PhD -- Like the future image of the beast, which will seem to have life, these magician-induced serpents can only have been “lying wonders” (2 Thessalonians 2:9). Neither men nor demons can really create life; this is a prerogative of God alone, who “created every living creature” (Genesis 1:21). However, both human magicians and demons can generate hypnotic mental states and occult hallucinations that ungodly people like Pharaoh may be deceived into seeing as real physical entities. When their demonstration was over, however, nothing was left. Even their rods (not “serpents”) were gone, for Aaron’s genuine serpent had made a meal of them. In a true miracle of creation, Aaron’s God had transmuted the dead atoms of a wooden stick (just as He later made it to produce blossoms and almonds, Numbers 17:8) into a living serpent, capable of consuming other sticks that only appeared to be serpents.
The deception of the magicians was revealed when they were unable later to imitate Moses’ miracle of turning dust into lice throughout the land of Egypt (Exodus 8:18). Interestingly, many people believed for many centuries that similar phenomena—which they called “spontaneous generation”— occurred naturalistically, but this notion was scientifically demolished by Pasteur over a hundred years ago. Only the living God can create life!
The miracle of Aaron’s rod is also a parable. Aaron’s rod of life took on the nature of the serpent, just as Christ was made sin for us (2 Corinthians 5:21). But then it swallowed up the other serpent-rods, and the sting of “that old serpent” was put away. Thus, “death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting?” (1 Corinthians 15:54-55).
