7-18-23, God hears everything; Moses siblings were criticizing his leadership and his wife - God was angered. Called them out and asked if they weren't afraid to be talking ill of His faithful servant, Moses? Ultimately, Aaron pleaded with Moses for forgiveness and Moses pleaded with God for them both. Apparently, because Aaron quickly repented asking for forgiveness, only Miriam was punished = God gave her leprosy for seven days.
Numbers 12:1-15; Exodus 28:38; Matthew 12:36-37 -- Ellicott's Commentary: https://biblehub.com/commentaries/ellicott/numbers/12.htm 7-17-23, The Jews that God miraculously brought out of Egyptian slavery [600,000 men +families] were complaining; they wanted to eat MEAT - they were sick of the MANNA that God provided. The ungrateful people as described in Numbers 11:32 gorged themselves on the quail that God sent for a month. Until the gluttonous saw the consequences of God's wrath - a plague came and killed many.
Numbers 11:15-33; Psalm 78:24, 105:40, John 6:32 *** Is almighty God NOW 'smoting' the USA?! *** -- Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Commentary: https://biblehub.com/commentaries/jfb/numbers/11.htm 7-16-23, The Lord God has carefully recorded His requirements in the book of Leviticus. Behaviors, duties, worship. ”BE HOLY FOR THE LORD IS HOLY” is the primary message. (Exodus 19:2) The blood sacrifices by animals - before Messiah Jesus Christ were temporary … However, 'His' blood cleanses true repentant sinners eternally. Leviticus 1:17 - 27:34; Matthew 26:28; Hebrews 9:22; 1 John 1:7, 5:6; 1Peter 1:16; Revelation 1:5 -- Barnes' Commentary: https://biblehub.com/commentaries/barnes/leviticus/19.htm -- Blue Letter Bible: https://www.blueletterbible.org/search/search.cfm?Criteria=Holy&t=KJV#s=s_primary_0_ 7-16-23, Sadly its all too common to hear profane speach using the LORD JESUS name. Deuteronomy 5:11
7-15-23, Almighty God of the BIBLE OLD TESTAMENT is the same God of the new. Why do we act like HIS righteous wrath has disappeared?
Jesus said to obey Him. Hebrews 13:8; John 14:23, Luke 13:3 Leviticus 26:3-4, 6, 9, 14, 16-17 Judges 2:14 ✝️🙏🏻 7-14-23, God requires great reverence and humble behaviors in and about HIS territories and Tabernacle. The grandeur and cost of His Tabernacle is recorded in Exodus 38:21-31; Genesis 23:15; Exodus 30:13. The people gave much more than enough, Exodus 36:1-7 so Moses had to tell them to stop! Using today's estimates of scrap precious metals that would've been melted - jewelry etc. the cost of the Lord's sanctuary would be: $59+ million.

Sweden: the Bible will be burned [here] On June 28, 2023 a 37 yr old Iraqi migrant man received permission to burn the Koran. He wants the book banned, tore out pages from the Quran, wiped them on his shoe and set some of them on fire Note: The Koran tells followers to 'kill the infidel [non believers] [See below] The Holy Bible provides the Lord Jesus Who died for all sinners. | Israel's current President Isaac Herzog said allowing a Jewish Bible to be burned: “I unequivocally condemn the permission granted in Sweden to burn holy books. I condemned the burning of the [Islam's] Quran and I am now heartbroken that the same fate awaits a Jewish Bible, the eternal book of the Jewish people. Permitting the defacement of sacred texts is not an exercise in freedom of expression, it is blatant incitement and an act of pure hate." | Sweden Approves Burning Holy Bible 7-14-23, JewishPress -- Swedish media reports that local police have approved burning a Jewish bible in front of the Israeli embassy in Stockholm. - "When the sacred months are over slay the idolaters wherever you find them" (Sura 9:5).
- "When you meet the unbelievers in the battlefield, strike off their heads" (Sura 47:4). [Note: in the Bible's Revelation 20:4 it speaks of Christians being beheaded by anti Christ followers. What other 'religion' commands beheading its enemies other than Islam?]
- "Prophet, make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites and deal rigorously with them. Hell shall be their home: an evil fate" (Sura 9:73).
- "The true believers fight for the cause of God, but the infidels fight for the devil. Fight then against the friends of Satan" (Sura 4:76).
- "Muhammad is God's Apostle. Those who follow him are ruthless to the unbelievers, but merciful to one another" (Sura 48:29).
See the power of prayer and the riches of God’s goodness, mercy & forgiveness! We realize that this is a type of the prevalency of Christ’s intercession that He make for all who come to Him in repentance! Moses was special to God because of His own merit; it's “because thou hast found grace in My sight. And I know you by name!"

God prepared the path & future land occupation by removing many tribes; one method was sending hornets; but not to be taken literally. Germany: Low Use of God's Word, the Holy Bible, Among those Claiming to be Protestant Christians and Catholics
7-5-23, Christian Post -- A study by two sociologists of religion from the Institute for Practical Theology at the University of Leipzig in Germany surveying 1,209 German residents aged 16 and older who were randomly selected and questioned about the topic by telephone or digitally. Germans "with and without church ties" in what researchers say is the "first representative all-German study on this topic." The study, funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). A third of the respondents nondenominational, another third claimed to be Protestant Christian and the final third as Catholic. Less than a third (30%) say they open the Scriptures approximately once a year. | The study's findings aren't entirely surprising: an international study published in May 2023 found Germany's European neighbors in the United Kingdom had some of the lowest levels of religiosity and belief in God in the world. The study by King's College London's Policy Institute found that many Britons do not believe in God, while the number of those who say God is not important to their life is the highest since the 1980s. Researchers found that belief in Heaven and those praying and identifying as religious have also steadily fallen over the last four decades. Why did He do that?
The king hardened his own heart three times; God won’t violate a person’s free will, but demands all people know His power & WHO He is (Exodus 9:16) & He proved it …

In modern times so many people blaspheme the Lord using His name as a curse - they must realize what they're doing and the consequences!
The Lord Jesus said in Luke 12:5
"I will forewarn you Whom ye shall fear: Fear Him, which after He hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear Him."

John Darby Did Not Invent the Rapture
6-21-23, * -- One issue being promoted by a belief system of theology is that a Rapture [snatching away] of the church is not Bible truth. It’s claimed that such doctrine is a fabrication of one John Nelson Darby of Ireland (1800-1882). Any Scripture that makes such a reference is said to be just aspects of Christ’s Second Coming. Large passages of Scripture are disregarded as meaningless, along with prophecies of the last days. Paul admonished Timothy to “study to show yourself approved of God, a workman not ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). We, in the 21st century, should also follow that directive, for God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). Reportedly, John Darby was an active well-known figure in the mid-1800 theological circles, he supported Calvin’s views. Well before Darby, there was strong belief in the Rapture of the Church; after the times of the Apostles, writers proclaimed their belief in the “imminence” of Christ’s return. This, of course, is still held by many today, although we know that Jesus never made a promise or prophecy that He did not intend to fulfill. What does the Bible say? 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.” Two Old Testament examples of a ‘snatching away rapture’ was the experience of Enoch, the early man of faith who “walked with God and he was not, for God took him” (Genesis 5:24). Also, Elijah taken up to heaven in a blazing chariot (2 Kings 2:11-13). | Jesus Christ told us in John 11:25-26, at the time of the Lazarus' death; as his sisters were weeping over his death - Jesus said: “Your brother will rise again” (John 11:23) …“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die” (John 11:25-26). It is said that Jesus will come “like a thief in the night,” that is, unexpectedly. Paul, told the Thessalonians, “But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day….” (1 Thessalonians 5:4-5a). God has seven special feasts setup on the Jewish calendar. The first one Passover celebrating the time of Israel’s escape from Egypt’s bondage; but the feasts were called “convocations” or rehearsals for future events. They celebrate high-level events of the then-coming Christian era! The death, burial and resurrection of Christ where He, the Passover Lamb, was slain. Here He becomes the “first fruits of the resurrection.” When Jesus died an earthquake shook the city and the vail in the temple’s Holy Place was torn from top to bottom: “And saints came out of their graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.” (Matthew 27:53) It will be a very dramatic event as described by the two angels in Acts 1:11: “This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.” Therefore, “as we see the Day approaching, we who believe and proclaim the whole counsel of God say, “even so, Lord Jesus, come quickly” (Revelation 19:11, 22:20). *Excerpted and adapted full original report from Gene Lawley here Contact email: [email protected] |
