God Tells His Children to have "Good Courage"
God Knows the Unborn Child
Jeremiah 1:4-5 "The word of the LORD came to me, saying, 5"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart;"
Exodus 21:22-23 "If people are fighting and hit a pregnant woman and she gives birth prematurely but there is no serious injury, the offender must be fined whatever the woman's husband demands and the court allows."
Psalm 127:3 "Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from Him."
America Mystery Babylon?
The great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath. Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods He hath broken unto the ground because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
"No other nation has been the policeman of the world, as has the USA. Some will call us colonialist, or aggressors, but we have fought endless wars to promote human rights and democracy into all nations that we have fought wars in. I think of WW1 and WW2, the Vietnam War, the Gulf Wars, the invasion of Iraq, and Afghanistan to rid ourselves of communism and terrorism after 9/11 and the destruction of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Each and every time, world conditions and evil men have drawn America into fighting in foreign lands. Some will argue for no good reason and illusions of WMD’s and money to be made from military hardware, but the point of the passage is that no other nation on earth can be called the hammer of the whole earth, like the USA has been and still is…but notice verse 24? A snare has been laid and our destruction is sure. Now some will say, that this passage deals with ancient Babylon, but remember, scripture reveals what happened in the past, will happen in the future, as a duality of prophecy. I believe this is one such passage, but there is much more. -- MIKE TAYLOR here
Following are the top twenty verses confirming the view that America is Mystery Babylon:
- Is the most respected and envied around the world and yet at the same time is hated by the world. A nation "peeled", or timbered, a land of open fields and many waters; rivers. (Isaiah 18:2; Jer 51:13; Rev 17:1, 18:17-19)

In The World We Will Have Tribulation
Jesus said, “Now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom Thou hast given Me, that they may be one, as we are. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Thy name: those that thou gavest Me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. And now come I to Thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have My joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them Thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that Thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that Thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through Thy truth: Thy word is truth. As Thou hast sent Me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.”
Those who are born again Christians should not be fearful as the world reels in despair and turmoil with the newest nasty events in the Middle East. The Islamic terror nation of Iran hates Christians & Jews. Jesus warned us we’d be persecuted – and we are. Be at peace. Colossians 3:15; 1 Peter 5:7
A good inspirational message follows from Ray Stedman.
1-3-20, * -- In John 17:11-19 we find the Lord Jesus explaining about the secular world that is organized in its antipathy against God; and the church, the body of Christ, God's family. [Matthew 5:11] He knew that there would be this conflict. He called a group out of the world-- not to be separate from it-- but to be a different group. God always sees humanity divided into two categories. Sometimes they are called two kingdoms-- the kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan. Sometimes they're regarded symbolically as two cities-- Jerusalem and Babylon.
Jesus, knowing the danger of the world, prays for His disciples. Pointing out the reason the world hates them/us. Here are men who have learned a source of joy that the world does not know how to produce. The world hates Christians because they have a source of life the world cannot explain or destroy. Satan tries to destroy it through the deceitfulness of the allurements of the world.
Jesus prayed not that the Father take His disciples out of the world; without us intermingling with the lost, the world is left without light-- to remain in Satan’s darkness. On the other hand, our Lord was aware of the need to be kept from the evil one; we must be careful avoiding contamination by the world and all its deadly delusions.
Our Lord is calling for men and women who, like Himself, can live in the midst of the sin filled world without becoming contaminated by it, instead we are to be a source of light pointing to the only way to be saved; repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. John 14:6

Hardness of Heart
“Afterward Jesus appeared unto the eleven [apostles] as they sat at meat [dinner] and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen Him after He was risen.”
1-2-20, Henry Morris, Phd -- Apparently many people—even Christians—are afflicted with “spiritual cardiosclerosis” (hardening of the heart), there are many references in the Bible to this malady. The first was in reference to Egypt’s unbelieving Pharaoh. (Exodus 4:21) When the children of Israel did escape Pharaoh’s persecutions, they also contracted this debilitating attitude: “Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved me and saw My work.” (Psalm 95:8-9)
Even the very disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ were rebuked by Him for their hardness of heart [Mark 16:14]. In spite of the Old Testament prophecies and in spite of His own repeated promise that He would rise from the dead, the disciples forsook Him and fled into hiding when He was arrested. Some were even skeptical about the first reports of His resurrection until they saw Him for themselves [Thomas].
If this heart hardness and unbelief could attack the eleven disciples who walked with the Lord and saw His miracles, it could surely happen to us ... if we allow it. Source

Kingdom Prepared Born Again Believers
“Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.” Marvel not that you must be born again!
1-1-20, In context, this wonderful promise in Matthew 25:34 may apply specifically to born again believers [John 3:3, 7] who're still alive when He returns to judge the nations or “Gentiles” [as Christians are 'grafted into' the 'tree' of Israel, Romans 11:11–24]. For He has prepared a wonderful kingdom for His kids where they will fully serve their great King Jesus. Sadly, the “goats” [lost unbelievers] will be sent away into “everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.” (Matthew 25:41)
Happily Christians know that the Lord Jesus Christ has prepared a mansion for His faithful followers & disciples. He said He'd come again and ... “In my Father’s house are many mansions . . . I go to prepare a place for you.” (John 14:1-3)
One day we shall see the glorious place Christ has prepared and will ever be with Him; the Apostle John's great vision. “And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” (Revelation 21:2) “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.” (1 Corinthians 2:9)
We can say with the Apostle Paul: “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” (Romans 8:18)
✨Jesus said He'd come again and that where HE is His kids will be also. Every year that passes means we're one year closer! John 14:1-3✨
New Year 2020: All Things Become New
God’s compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. "The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for Him.
12-31-19, In this New Year 2020 - as will all past years - the Lord told His children to look ahead to the new day with a fresh hope. His mercies are new and fresh every morning; His grace is sufficient for each new day. We can see that God gives us new strength and courage as needed. Therefore, we need look forward to living one day at a time as old things have passed away. [2 Corinthians 5:17]
In the New Year we must diligently press toward the mark of the high calling in Christ Jesus [Philippians 3:14], not looking back to my unchecked list of goals. The Lord GOD wants us to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD - this is the year.
Isaiah 61:1-2 (Matthew 2:19-23; Matthew 13:53-58; Mark 6:1-6; Luke 2:39-40; Luke 4:16-30)
"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland." (Isaiah 43:18-19)
"...one thing I do forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead." (Philippians 3:13)
His Mercy Found Me
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.”
12-5-19, John D. Morris PhD -- The third verse of the hymn “And Can It Be That I Should Gain?” [video here] sets the stage for the implementation of His majestic plan.
He left His father’s throne above,
So free, so infinite His grace!
Emptied Himself of all but love,
And bled for Adam’s helpless race;
T’is mercy all! Immense and free,
For, O my God, it found out me!
The plan involved the death of God the Son. The Creator dying for the creation. The righteous Judge taking on Himself the penalty of the condemned. The rejected Holy One becoming sin on behalf of sinners. All sinners are powerless to alter the situation of our hell bound destination without our repentance and the intercession of the Lord Jesus Christ. All simply receive the offered gift and grace through faith [Ephesians 2:8-10].
First, God had to take on Himself the nature of the condemned, live a guiltless life so that He could die as a substitutionary sacrifice. To do so, God the Son had to leave His Father’s throne. (Philippians 2:6-8).
Adam had rebelled against his Creator’s authority, and all of mankind suffered. “By one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned” (Romans 5:12), yet Christ’s work on the cross changed all that. “For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many” (v. 15).
Amazing love from the Lord God Jesus Christ!
John 5:18, 8:54, 10:24-25, 33; Romans 5:8
Review of 2019 Looking Ahead to 2020
Jesus said, "The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man & ye shall not see it. They shall say to you, 'See here; or, see there:' go not after them, nor follow them. For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in His day. But first must He suffer many things & be rejected of this generation. As it was in the days of Noah and Lot, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark and fire and brimstone came down on Sodom & Gomorrah. They bought, sold, planted & built; but the same day [God]... destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop & his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away & he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back."
12-29-19, Today John Haller does a review of 2019 with a focus on the upcoming year 2020. He again reports on world events and Bible prophecy while remaining steadfast in Fellowship Bible's mission to preach the Good News of the Gospel of salvation only possible through the Messiah savior, Jesus Christ [John 14:6].
As we move forward into 2020, we do so with hope and encouragement. While it can be quite daunting to wake up each day and see the headlines from all over the world making it seem as if it is spinning out of control, may we remind ourselves that the same Architect that set the universe into motion [the Lord God almighty] is the very same One who holds it together.
May God bless each and every one of you in your walks with Him in 2020, whether it occurs across rocky terrain or smooth sandy beaches. Go in peace and walk with Him in faith, knowing that for the believer, we are never abandoned or alone when we know Christ as our Savior. That alone should inspire us to boldly proclaim the gift that He freely offers to those who humble themselves and accept Him into their lives. All who love the Lord said:
'PRAISE THE LORD AND HAPPY NEW YEAR 2020!'
One hour ten minute video here
Now Noah was 600 years old when the floodwaters came upon the earth. And Noah entered the ark, along with his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives, to escape the waters of the flood. The clean and unclean animals, the birds, and everything that crawls along the ground…
The two angels entered Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gateway of the city. When Lot saw them, he got up to meet them, bowed with his face to the ground,
As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah along with their neighboring towns, declares the LORD, No one will reside there; no man will dwell there.
A DOUBLE PORTION OF THE SPIRIT OF GOD
Elijah said to Elisha: ‘Tell me, what can I do for your before I am taken from you?’
Elisha said: "Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit.”
12-17-19, Rev Wendell -- In 2 Kings 2:1 we read about what happened after the death of Ahaziah, Elijah knew that he was near the end of his life, so he walked with Elisha. Elijah told Elisha not to go with him as the Lord sent him to Bethel, but Elisha said that he would not leave him. (2 Kings 2:1-2) Then the Lord sent Elijah to Jericho also to the Jordan and each time Elisha said that he would not leave him. (2 Kings 2:4-6) At the Jordan River, Elijah took his cloak and struck the water; the Lord God parted the waters and they crossed over on dry land. (2 Kings 2:8) Later Elijah asked Elisha what he could do for him before the Lord took him away?
Elisha asked for a double portion of the Spirit of God that Elijah had, and Elijah if you see me when I am taken away, then your request will be granted. (2 Kings 2:10)
As they were walking, they were separated, and a chariot of fire with horses of fire took Elijah away alive in a whirlwind up to heaven and Elisha saw the whole thing. (2 Kings 2:11-12)
Therefore, Elisha was a greater prophet than Elijah was because
he had a double portion of the Spirit of God upon him.
If we want to do more for the Lord, we need to ask Him for help. The Holy Spirit of the Lord God is within all born again believers, (John 3:3, 7; Ezekiel 36:27) we have to learn to yield control of our lives to Him. God will renew His Spirit within us (Psalm 51:10) so that we can have strength and be encouraged to do more for the Lord's kingdom.
Does Science Prove God Does NOT Exist?
Famous Scientists Say God is the Creator of All and Does Exist
God created the earth, heavens, oceans, animals, mankind and everything else
Genesis 1:1; Exodus 20:11; Job 12:7-10; Psalm 96:11-12
Secular media and education want you to believe there is no scientific proof of God. But the reality is science provides a lot of evidence for the existence of God. Although we have been told that faith in God and science can’t go hand in hand, the truth is they are closely intertwined with each other. Science supports the existence of God and God encourages the development of science. Science and God are close companions! Thousands of scientists today are passionate believers in God. They say science points them toward God and God helps them practice good science. As Albert Einstein said: ‘Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind.’ According to the Oxford English Dictionary, the scientific method: ‘…consists in systematic observation, measurement, and experiment, and the formulation, testing, and modification of hypotheses.’ You are about to see there is strong scientific proof of God, obtained by using the scientific method of observation, measurement, experiment, formulation and testing. The main characteristic of God is, that he is the creator of the universe and all living organisms. Every living organism consists of many COMPLEX, FUNCTIONING SYSTEMS. For example our eyes, brains, digestive system, nervous system, our blood circulation, skin, lungs, kidneys, and so on. The human body consists of thousands of COMPLEX, FUNCTIONING SYSTEMS, that operate perfectly. What does science show us about the origination of complex functional systems? Can they arise WITHOUT the influence of external intelligence? Or does science prove that a complex functioning system REQUIRES an external intelligence? We will apply the scientific method to find an answer to this question:
- Since we observe that no complex functioning system ever originates without the ongoing guidance of external intelligence, there must be an external intelligence who caused the creation of the countless complex functioning systems in nature.
- Since the level of complexity of the functioning systems in nature exceed the capabilities of humans to create them, the external intelligence required for the creation of nature is of a much higher level.
- Are we willing to use science honestly?
- Are we willing to truly look at the outcome of scientific reasoning?
- Or do we use science in a dishonest way? Too often mankind is guilty of abuse of science. Many claim they ‘only believe in science’, while in fact they close their eyes for true science… and believe in theories that are in essence contrary to science,
Science is after all not closing your eyes to phenomena, but investigating them, in order to acquire new knowledge, which you can then integrate into your current knowledge. So when a scientist is willing to look at several healing miracles, and observes that these healings are the result of a supernatural force, this is also a scientific proof of God. Healing miracles can be observed all over the world. They can be measured, to see if indeed a healing has taken place, without natural means. And this can be repeated over and over again. The outcome of this scientific research is that healing miracles are real, which proves that when christians pray to God for a healing and it happens, we can conclude that science proves the existence of God. That is honest application of science.
Famous scientists who believed there is scientific proof of God
Many of the most brilliant pioneers of modern science believed in God. Here you find a small selection of the thousands of scientists throughout history, who were convinced there is more evidence pointing toward the existence of God, than there is to support atheism.

A Grievous and Sorrowful Time for God's Remnant - BUT, we serve an amazing God
The LORD said to His people: "Ye have sold yourselves for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money. My people went down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause. Now therefore, what have I here, that My people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to howl and My name continually everyday is blasphemed. Therefore, My people shall know My name and they shall know in that day that I am He that doth speak: behold, it is I."
5-2-18, * -- The God of all comfort who comforts us in our tribulation IS faithful! I thank God that He counts me worthy to suffer with the Lord's faithful born again believers in Christ. We endure persecution and tribulation; Jesus warned us ... His ways are definitely not our ways. [Jeremiah 23:14; Isaiah 11:11; Romans 9:29; 2 Peter 2:6]
The Lord is keeping His remnant [Lamentations 3:22] - us - the reproach of people who are scoffing at us for believing in the Promise of the Lord Jesus' Second Coming. Hallelujah! [Matthew 24:36; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 19:11-15]
We serve an amazing God - Messiah the Lord Jesus Christ.
[Matthew 28:2-4, Mark 1:27; Luke 5:26; John 14:6]
"Little baby on the hay,
Soon there'll be another day
When nails shall pierce Your hands and feet As You provide our sin's defeat.
Risen Jesus on the throne
We life our praise to You alone
For Your're the Gift that we receive
The moment that our hearts believe."
-- Roy Lessin
"It came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed. (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.
16 And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them."

There’s a Big Difference in the Happiness of the Governed When Righteous & God Fearing People Are in Authority
“Wisdom and understanding is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. Godless men should not rule or lay snares for the people. When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.”
12-23-19, In any nation the people cannot rejoice except the righteous are in authority. Leaders' duty is to promote the happiness of the people. This is especially true of those who are exalted into high rank, dignified with honors and vested with authority. Those who are of an exalted station, without attending to the duties for which he/she was ‘hired,’ to a degree, are criminal both in the eyes of God and man.
The deficiencies in civil life can be supplied only by faith in almighty God aka “religion.” The first duty of a governor/leader is therefore to diligently observe and have reverence for God and His laws. The first duty of subjects/citizens of a nation is obedience to its laws. No person thinks laws unnecessary – consider traffic laws – it would be utter mayhem if there were no four way stops!
Laws are easily obeyed by those who add to human sanctions … the obligations of conscience, morality and obedience to almighty God. [Romans 13:1-2, 3-7]
Short list of advantages citizens enjoy under a righteous government:
- The people are encouraged; their spirit is enlivened making them eager to produce and obey righteous laws that protect the innocent.
- Righteousness exalts a nation and spreads its respect to all nations.
- Receive almighty God’s blessings. [Psalm 1:1-3, 3:8, 5:12, 32:10]
There are diverse opinions about the righteousness and morality of the current US President Donald Trump. Who can deny that the nation has prospered and been blessed since he entered the White House? Clearly one of almighty God’s admonitions is that those who bless Israel will be blessed; and no other US president has shown such true friendship to the Jewish state than Donald John Trump. [Genesis 12:3] President Trump has also worked to limit and reduce the murder of innocent babies in their mother's womb. We must pray for President Trump's increased faith and obedience to almighty God.
Serve the LORD with fear and celebrate His rule
with trembling. Psalm 2:10-11; Proverbs 11:14
Calm Before the Storm?
The Apostle Paul said, "I charge thee therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ Who shall judge the quick and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. Watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry."
12-22-19, John Haller is back bringing news about the state of the world. From New Zealand killer volcano, 15 year prison sentences for burning a homosexual "pride" flag: A US judge has handed down a sentence of at least 15 years to a man who stole an LGBT pride flag from a church and burned it outside a strip club.

"There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people." 2 Timothy 3:1-5; see also: Luke 17:26-30; Matt 24:37-39
My King of Old
Creator of All = GOD
“The day is thine, the night also is thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun. Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter.”
10-31-19, Henry Morris, PhD -- The 74th Psalm is a sad lamentation [Psalm 74:1-3; Deut 29:20; 2 Samuel 24:17] over the apparent triumph of the enemies of God, but its central verse is a beautiful statement of faith: “For God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.” (Psalm 74:12)
Then, in support of his faith, the psalmist remembers the mighty creative acts of God in ancient times, giving assurance that He could, indeed, work salvation in these present times. [John 10:9]
Those who believe that man is the measure of all things, sufficient unto himself, ignore how dependent all people are on God’s provisions. The very rotation of the earth, with its cycle of day and night, has set the basic rhythm of biological life, and it was God—not man—who “divided the light from the darkness” (Genesis 1:4).
The testimony in Genesis that God “prepared the light” before He prepared the sun (Genesis 1:3, 14), thus rebuking all those who later would worship the sun as the source of the earth and life.
God also “set all the borders [or ‘boundaries’] of the earth.” This refers both to the emergence of the continental land masses after the Flood and then also to the enforced scattering of the peoples from Babel into all the world, when He “determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation” (Acts 17:26).
He made “summer and winter, and day and night [that] shall not cease” (Genesis 8:22). God did all this—not man! Evolutionary humanism is futile foolishness, and one day soon God will answer the cry of the psalmist: “Arise, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily” (Psalm 74:22). Zechariah's Visions: The Ephah and the Women
“Then the angel that talked with me . . . said, This is an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their resemblance through all the earth. And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah.”
12-19-19, Henry Morris, III -- The ephah is a volume measure, similar to a bushel basket (Leviticus 19:36). The woman inside is defined as “wickedness” (Zechariah 5:8). The ephah is lead-sealed (contained) by God Himself and is taken (while contained) to Shinar by two women with wings like a stork (Zechariah 5:9-11).
These two women are difficult to identify. It is possible that they are Aholah and Aholibah described in Ezekiel 23:1, with Aholah representing Samaria as an adulteress with Assyria and Aholibah substituting for Jerusalem as the adulterous wife of Jehovah. It is also possible that these two women could represent Israel and later the church involvement with the worldly system of Babylon. In either case, these two women enable “wickedness” to be brought to Shinar and allow Babylon to be “established” (Zechariah 5:11). The New Testament counterpart of these events is probably the decadent woman pictured in Revelation 17:4.
This segment of Zechariah’s visions seems to set the stage for God’s harvest. There is the vision of the scroll of judgment impacting the entire earth; then this basket of “wickedness” that resembles conditions “through all the earth.” And lastly the house in the land of Shinar that is “established” before the four chariots (Zechariah 6:1) begin their final work. While these prophecies are not pleasant to anticipate, God “hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thessalonians 5:9). Source
Zechariah's Visions: The Flying Roll
“Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll . . . the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits.”
12-18-19, Henry Morris, III -- The large “flying roll” pictured for Zechariah is 30 feet long and 15 feet wide, signifying the enormity of its purpose. Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Zechariah all speak of a roll in terms of judgment that is coming on Israel and Babylon (Jeremiah 36:2; Ezekiel 2:9-10).
This roll contains the curse that goes forth over the “face of the whole earth” (Zechariah 5:13)—a phrase that is only used five other times in all of Scripture: God warns Noah of the coming Flood (Genesis 6:7), the population under the leadership of Nimrod rebels at the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11:4), God sends the plague of locusts on Egypt (Exodus 10:15), the vast empire of Greece destroys and overcomes Persia (Daniel 8:5), and a day will come “on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth” (Luke 21:35).
The parallel to the scroll with the seven seals in Revelation is striking. Revelation 6:1-8 tells of the four horsemen who carry out the judgment of the first four seals that parallel the ninth vision of Zechariah (6:1-8). Revelation 6:12-17 describes the “great earthquake” that is parallel to the earthquake foretold by Haggai (2:6-7, 21-23). Revelation chapters 6–10 describe the judgments that impact both the planet itself and the population.
Zechariah’s roll judges those who steal and swear and will be “cut off.” The implication is that those unfit for the people of God will be “cleansed” from the final kingdom. Since the obvious purpose of these visions is to give assurance of the ultimate victory of God, we can be confident that “God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil” (Ecclesiastes 12:14). PRAY: ‘Please, God, Bless America’
President Donald Trump is genuine ...
"No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit."
12-18-19, I think Donald Trump is a man chosen by God … for such a time as this. Today, as the wicked haters contrive and seek to remove President Trump from office, they've been plotting since before the day he entered the oval office. We need to pray for the hearts and minds of the Congressmen & women to vote to keep President Trump in office and do away with this ridiculous impeachment effort.
Donald J. Trump loves America and Americans like no other president has in my lifetime. So far, it’s clear that America is recovering from the downward spiral she was on. Our nation has been given a reprieve; we have our country back with a leader who has our nations best interests again. THIS president and Vice President Michael Pence recognize God as our Father in all matters.
The Bible tells us “Ye shall know them by their fruits,” (Matthew 7:16), and since day one of President Trump’s presidency his actions prove he loves America, her citizens and almighty God. Let all who love our nation and love God speak these words as a constant prayer:
Please bless America, President Trump
his family and his staff.
In the precious name of Jesus I pray.
Problems, Problems, Problems
“And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest.”
11-18-19, Henry Morris, PhD -- The 55th Psalm is a psalm of “complaint” (Ps 55:2) by David giving insight into his thought process as he tried to deal with the great problems and burdens that were overwhelming him. His first instinct was to run away from them, flying like a dove far off into the wilderness.
The prophet Jonah (whose name means “dove”) tried that strategy years later, only to encounter even worse problems (Jonah 1:3, 15). One does not solve problems by fleeing from them.
Then, David decided to berate those who were causing him trouble and to complain about them to the Lord. “Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice” (Psalm 55:17). The words “pray, and cry aloud” here actually mean “complain and mourn.” “Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongues” (Ps 55:9). “Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell” (Ps 55:15). His burdens were all the heavier because those whom he had trusted as friends and colleagues were now using deceit and guile against him (Ps 55:11-12, 13-14), and the injustice of it all was almost more than he could endure. But complaints and imprecations were also unsatisfying: “Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” (Romans 12:19)
Finally, the Lord gave him an answer, and David found the rest for which he had been so fretfully searching. Here it is: “Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved” (Psalm 55:22). The last phrase of the psalm is “but I will trust in thee” (Ps 55:23).
The way to deal with burdens and problems is not to flee from them or to fret about them but to turn them over to the Lord: “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” (1 Peter 5:7) Source
"Jesus is the King of Kings”
And So Much Good News!
Humanly speaking, the Lord Jesus Christ is from the Davidic Dynasty, but in power, glory, righteousness, and in every other way He’s rightly called the greater David and that government will be on His shoulders. The Holy Bible’s Old and New Testaments reveal that the future King - during the millennium and all eternity - is Jesus Christ and Him alone.
12-9-19, * -- In a world full of sad and painful news, there is good news today as we again celebrate the birth of the Lord and Messiah Jesus – CHRISTMAS! Jesus was born through miraculous means – His was a virgin birth as Mary ‘knew no man’ [Luke 1:34] and He displayed miraculous divine power during His ministry on earth. He gave up His life and arose from the dead; and He's going to return and will reign from Jerusalem. [Isaiah 9:6-7] This is one reason why US President Trump moving the US embassy to Israel’s capitol of Jerusalem is important; it’s a very prophetic thing that the world’s superpower recognizes Jerusalem. [Zechariah 14:2-4] [..snip]
The Gospel of Christ is often described as the “good news” and so it is. It is, however, too often limited to a single aspect of the “good news” of forgiveness and salvation that comes exclusively through Jesus Christ [John 14:6], which is good news indeed!
Other good news is that He’s preparing a place for us in His Father’s house [John 14:2] and that He is coming again to receive us unto Himself and will rule the nations. [John 14:3-4]. Althogh many prophesies have been fulfilled; we know the governments have not yet been upon His shoulders as prophesied [Isaiah 9:6] and that there’s been no peace on earth and goodwill between men.
We need to recognize that in order for Jesus to return to the Mt. of Olives in Jerusalem and the Jews to look upon Him whom they pierced, the Jews need to be back in the land and in full possession of Jerusalem. The good news is, they are!
Jesus Who is the Lion of the tribe of Judah [Revelation 5:5] is going to return and bring peace on earth and goodwill toward men. When He does, we Christians, will be coming with Him [Revelation 19:14]. It’s good news that the Jews will have their eyes open to their Messiah; that Christ will rule the nations in righteousness and there’ll be no end to His Kingdom’s rule! Hallelujah! [Revelation 19:16, Luke 1:33]
Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus. Revelation 22:20
"God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; He judgeth among the gods. How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah. Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked. They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes. Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations."
12-13-19, Australian Pastor Steve Cioccolanti has done an in depth report about the US Impeachment laws and our courts. He reports that 19 federal judges have been impeached in the history of the nation and that impeachment isn't just for presidents.
He also shares what the late Kim Clement said in 2014 about a 'gold president.'

Pastor Steve asks us all to pray Psalm 82:1-8 for 30 days as the wicked do their dirty deeds attempting to destroy President Trump:
Israel & the Church
The Apostle Peter said: "This is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: ‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on all people; your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on My menservants and maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days."
12-15-19, The prophecy update this week has Pastor Mike Clapham filling in for Brother John Haller who is sick with the flu. Pastor Mike is teaching on understandiong the relationship of Israel and the Church.
While Israel and the Church are distinct, the Bible does not present them as separate; rather, they are connected and related even in their distinctiveness.
Consider: Romans 11:17-24 & Revelation 21:9-14
The prophecy of Joel 2:28-32 as cited by the Apostle Peter in Acts 2:17 also illustates this principle. Fifty-nine minute video here
“It is Finished!”
Jesus said, "I have finished the work which You have given Me to do."
As we prepare our celebrations and parties on the birthday of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; let us not forget why He came. His suffering and death was the plan to save us from our sin. Thank You, Lord Jesus.
11-21-19, * -- The death and resurrection from the dead of Jesus Christ is the fulfillment in history of the very mind and intent of God. There is no place for seeing Jesus Christ as a martyr. His death was not something that happened to Him— His life wasn't 'taken' it was given [John 10:11]. His death was the very reason He came.
We should not attempt to build a case for God's forgiveness on the idea that He is our Father and He will forgive us because He loves us. That contradicts the revealed truth of God in Jesus Christ. It makes the Cross unnecessary, and the redemption “much ado about nothing.” God forgives sin only because of the death and shed blood of Christ. God could forgive people in no other way than by our repentance and acceptance trusting Jesus alone for our forgiveness and salvation. The greatest note of triumph ever sounded in the ears of a startled universe was that sounded on the Cross of Christ— “It is finished!” (John 19:30). That is the final word in the redemption of humankind.
Anything that lessens or completely obliterates the holiness of God, through a false view of His love, contradicts the truth of God as revealed by Jesus Christ. Never allow yourself to believe that Jesus Christ stands with us out of pity and compassion, or that He became a curse for us out of sympathy.
Jesus Christ became a curse for us by divine decree. Our part in realizing the tremendous meaning of His curse is the conviction of sin. Conviction is given to us as a gift of shame and repentance; it is the great mercy of God. Jesus Christ hates the sin in people, and the cross [tree, Acts 5:30] of Calvary is the measure of His hatred.
