Prejudice: James Comey Admits FBI Didn't Believe Hillary Could Be Prosecuted 4-24-18, Breitbart -- Former FBI Dir James Comey conceded in his recently released memoir [book] that when the FBI launched its investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server, the agency did not believe career prosecutors at the Justice Dept would move on the case. FBI Was Furious Over Decision Not to Recommend Prosecution of Hillary [here] 10-14-16, Independent Sentinel -- Andrew Napolitano, senior judicial analyst for Fox News Channel said: “It is well known that the FBI agents on the ground, the human beings who did the investigative work, had built an extremely strong case against Hillary Clinton and were furious when the case did not move forward. They believe the decision not to prosecute came from The White House.” [Obama] One source speaking to Fox News said agents and attorneys involved with the case did not agree with Comey’s decision and it was made from the top-down.“No trial level attorney agreed, no agent working the case agreed, with the decision not to prosecute — it was a top-down decision.” Clintons Take Away $190,000 Worth of Goods from White House
By Thomas B. Edsall, Washington Post, Jan 21, 2001 Former president Bill Clinton and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.), faced with multimillion-dollar houses to furnish here and in suburban New York, left the White House yesterday with an unprecedented $190,027 worth of gifts received over the last eight years. Within about two weeks of the publication of the Post article, public criticism escalated, and the Clintons announced that they would pay the government nearly $86,000 for items that were actually government property. A few days after that, they also returned about $48,000 worth of furniture (including the sofas, chair and ottoman from Mittman). Add that up and the government got back $134,000 out of the $190,000 the Clinton’s had declared as gifts.
