Is Biden Trying to Goad the Right Into a Violent Reaction to Mar-a-Largo Search? 8/9/2022, PJ Media -- There are many things fishy about the search of President Trump’s Mar-a-Largo home: First, Pres T had been cooperating since he left office with the National Archives and the Justice Dept regarding documents taken and in January dozens of cartons were turned over willingly without a lot of hooplaa. A “person familiar” with the January event says “items that were improperly taken to Mar-a-Lago include a cocktail napkin, a phone list, charts, slide decks, letters, memos, maps, talking points, a birthday dinner menu, schedules and more.” The answer is yes — if your motive was to start a civil war. It’s not just “some extremists” who see the raid as a “political attack.” Reasonable people are asking why a raid with 30 FBI agents was necessary on a mostly empty home when the person of interest was perfectly willing to allow agents into his home to conduct a search in the first place. Obviously, the raid had little to do with investigating the relatively minor crime of mishandling classified information. After all, Hillary Clinton exposed 33,000 emails on an unsecured server and didn’t even get indicted for it. But it’s the extremists who are more likely to be goaded into a violent reaction, leading to calls for a “crackdown” on “extremists” with the definition of “extremist” drawn so broadly that it would ensnare most of the right in a dragnet. Scott Perry says FBI seized his phone after Trump Raid 8-9-22, Washington Examiner -- Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA), a close ally of President Trump, says the FBI seized his cellphone just one day after the agency conducted a raid on Trump's home at Mar-a-Lago Florida. The congressman said he was traveling with his family on Tuesday when three FBI agents approached and served him with a warrant for his cellphone. It’s not clear why the FBI confiscated his phone, but Perry denounced the move as a “banana republic tactic.” WNBA star on Griner: Regular people can rot in Russian jail, but this is our sister – bring her home
8/9/2022, Law Enforcement Today -- With Brittney Griner recently being sentenced to nine years in a Russian prison for possession of cannabis, members of the underwhelming WNBA [women's basketball] are speaking out about the trauma this is causing them. One of them even told media members during a press conference that this means something because Griner is no ordinary American: “It’s our sister,” This is not some random Jane off the street.” Before we look deeper at the rest of her comments, let’s pause right there. So, what if it was just some random Jane off the street? Would they be less important - like the Jan 6th capitol riot defendants??
