USA's Welfare State Began in 1933 Under FDR, Democrat [here]
9-25-25, The with greatest expansion of Socialist policies have been for generations under the following Democrats: ~ Franklin D. Roosevelt [FDR] (1933–1945) who created the New Deal, which used federal programs to reform the economy, create jobs, and build the modern social safety net ~ Lyndon B. Johnson (1963–1969): LBJ led the "Great Society" initiative creating Medicare, Medicaid, federal funding for education, and landmark civil rights laws ~ Woodrow Wilson (1913–1921): He championed the "New Freedom" progressive reforms, he lowered tariffs, strengthened antitrust laws, and created the Federal Reserve system ~ Barack Obama (2009–2017): During his stint in White house the the Affordable Care Act [Obamacare health insurance] came to be and a major economic stimulus package following the 2008 financial crisis Sadly Republicans have occasionally expanded these programs & frequently failed to reverse them. Each big step made today’s Democrats' move toward socialism a step closer. Comments are closed.
