 Parallel King Nebuchadnezzar & President Trump?? 6-23-26, * -- In 605-562 BC the most powerful and longest-reigning ruler, the prideful, arrogant blaspheming king of Babylonian Empire was King Nebuchadnezzar who destroyed Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem. [The prophet Jeremiah referred to him as God’s "servant" and the "destroyer of nations" who was sent to punish Judah for its disobedience and idolatry. [1] As a result of his military conquests his history is heavily reported in the Biblical accounts serving as the backdrop for the Jewish exile to Babylon. God punished the king with insanity for his overwhelming pride and in Daniel 4 [1] he’s driven from the throne. Proverbs 16:18  Ultimately, Nebuchadnezzar's sanity returned when he recognized and praised almighty God saying:
