Moses Father-in-Law, Jethro was a great counselor and help to Moses. He came to see Moses watching as he worked from dawn til night judging and solving the people's problems. Jethro told him, “What you are doing is not good you will only wear yourself out. The work is too heavy for you to handle alone. You must select capable men who fear God, are trustworthy, who hate dishonest gain. Train them and appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens. Have them serve as judges for the people's simple problems and have them bring every difficult case to you."
