2-22-25, We see in the Bible's book of Exodus that, when Moses was 80 years old, he was instructed by God to take the Hebrews from slavery in Egypt. We also see that on many occasions the Hebrews angered God by their blasphemy or/and disobedience. Moses pleaded with God to be merciful saying: ... 'this nation is YOUR people.'
Thus is our Lord Jesus, in His intercession for all sinners, presenting Himself as the One Who obtains mercy for us, with whom He is often and justly displeased. Currently the Jews are suffering again. May God hear our prayers for the Jewish state who have again sinned [1] against Him; please have mercy, Lord Jesus. 7-8-21-21, Israel has only 8000 square miles of land - the Muslims have 5 million. Yet, they also want the Jews land. Of all the nations of the world, the Lord chose the descendants of Jacob [Jews], not Ishmael [Muslims], to be His covenant people - the descendants of Abraham and wife Sarah. (Genesis 17:19-21; Malachi 1:1–5).
