Gratitude: Knowing Who Holds Tomorrow Psalm 33 & 136 3-15-17, Annette -- People with a grateful heart and attitude focus less on what they lack and more on what they have. Those of us who are in advanced years who still think straight and are still on their feet should be extremely grateful. And I am. I know that my next stop is Heaven and I truly appreciate that the Lord Jesus has always provided for my every need. While we wait for the call to go 'home,' our testimony of gratefulness and peace should shine forth so people will see we have the truth. Jesus is preparing for us; He said: "In My Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." John 14:2-3 Gratitude gets us through the hard stuff. Confidence in the Lord's existence and deeds increases our faith in tomorrow. As the song goes, "I Know Who Holds Tomorrow' [1]  The world is in dire straits, but we know Who is in control and only the Lord can give us His precious peace. Even so, come Lord Jesus.
