Jeremiah 51:9 We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country: for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies." Jeremiah 50 and 51 are speaking about the end time Babylon - the USA. This is evident because the things these scriptures record did not happen to ancient Babylon. And And it would be praised by the WHOLE EARTH. Jeremiah 51:41

"I agree with Doug Woodward regarding the identity of the last days Babylon. He
points out key scriptures that identify Babylon from Jeremiah 50, 51. These verses refer to the last days Babylon because what they describe about Babylon did not happen in the days of and in the fall of ancient Babylon. Also, that the Prophet Isaiah defines Babylon found in Isaiah chapters 13, 14, 18, and 47.

Looking at the writings of the Apostle John, Jeremiah, and Isaiah is more clearly appears that the USA is indeed the last days Babylon. Of tremendous importance are the verses of Jeremiah 51: 45-50. These 6 verses define exactly what God's people are to do regarding the last days Babylon.

Jeremiah 51:50 "Ye that have escaped the sword, go away, stand not still: remember the Lord afar off, and let Jerusalem come into your mind."

Between what the Apostle John and the true Prophet Jeremiah wrote, there is little room; but to interpret the last days Babylon as being the USA."
