“Behold upon the mountains the feet of Him that bringeth good tidings that publish peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; He is utterly cut off.”

Nahum 1:15

8-10-21, The righteous peoples of the world who Love the Lord Jesus and obey His commands are often oppressed by the wicked who lead their nations – even the USA.

We see encouragement in the Old Testament Book of Nahum; the cities of Nineveh & Judah repented turning to God [Jonah 3:2].

We pray hoping the nations will repent of their abominations and turn back to God; especially America before she's righteously punished as was Sodom & Gomorrah. [Luke 17:27-29]

“God is jealous; He will have revenge & is furious. The Lord will take vengeance on His adversaries & He reserves wrath for His enemies. The Lord is slow to anger, great in power & will not at all acquit the wicked… Who can stand before His indignation?

"Who can abide in the fierceness of His anger?
"The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble & He knows them that trust in Him; but with an overrunning flood He will make an utter end of the place thereof & darkness shall pursue His enemies. He will make an utter end… While they are held together as thorns & while they are drunken as drunkards, they shall be devoured as fully dry stubble…

"And the Lord hath given a commandment concerning thee, that no more of thy name be known: out of the house of thy gods will I cut off the graven image & the molten image: I will make thy grave; for thou art vile. Behold upon the mountains the feet of Him that bringeth good tidings that publish peace! ✝️ 6-17-20, Many people have the misconception that the Lord's TEN COMMANDMENTS are just suggestions since Jesus came and we're now under the NEW COVENANT. Well, Jesus repeated them in Matthew 19:18-19.

✝️ 6-8-20, Jesus is God; He came to save sinners. “For He [Jesus] Whom God sent speaks the words of God: The Father loves the Son & has given all things into His hand. He that believs on the Son hath everlasting life & they that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on them.” John 3:34-36

✝️ 6-7-20, The Lord □ Jesus spoke from the cross first of forgiveness, salvation then of His Mother's care into John's hands. He spoke of being forsaken & then triumph as His task as human was complete shedding His perfect blood for the forgiveness of sins to all who repent believing in Him. His body was thirsty. And last of His reunion with the Father. Matthew 27:46; Luke 23:34, 43, 46; John 19:26-28, 30; Mark 15:34
