Appeals court tries to  blocks construction of White House ballroom [here]
8-7-26, NYPost -- A federal appeals court has issued a ruling in an attempt to block the construction of President Trump's $400 million White House ballroom which is being paid for by private donors. The ruling is on hold for two weeks while Pres T goes to Supreme Court to stop interference of construction. The president reports that there are security concerns which necessitate tearing down the East Wing and replacing it with a ballroom. The structure has a rooftop launching pad for drones and a large military security entity in the basement -  labeling it a “Military Center.”

3-30-26, The 90,000-square-foot East Wing ballroom aka 'MILITARY CENTER', fully funded by private donors including Trump, replaces the demolished historic East Wing and sits atop an expanded WWII-era bunker built by the U.S. military. The roof & underground project includes drone facilities and thick bulletproof glass - completion is set for 2028.

Bangkok Mass Shooting Teen kills 8 [here]
8-7-26, NYPost -- The shooter was a 14 years old boy who fired at least 26 bullets, and was found with 34 additional ammunition rounds. The gun had belonged to his grandfather who he killed with his grandmother, then a teacher, four others then himself at a school in Thailand.

Massachusetts bills would create Islam commission [here]
8-4-26, MSN -- Massachusetts lawmakers are weighing S.2134 and H.3351, which would create an 11-member commission focused on Muslim residents, civil rights and public appointments. The bill would direct that commission identify and recommend qualified American Muslims for government appointments and jobs above Christians, Jews and Atheists. This includes boards and commissions promoting civil rights and inclusion addressing discrimination against Muslims.
