Recently reported in The Wall Street Journal, "People want safe, reliable cars;" but it seems that EVs have 79% more problems than gas powered cars, says Consumer Reports. (One might also ask, who wouldn’t want a five-figure repair bill for a new battery or because an electric motor failed?) Yes, you can get to the grocery store (and probably back) in an EV, but they don’t have the range for useful interstate movement between hours-long recharge stops.
