1-30-19, At a hearing of the House Armed Service Committee, Defense Dept official, Under Secretary of Defense John Rood agreed with two Republican lawmakers that President Trump doesn't need to declare a national emergency to get military assistance in building a border barrier. Rep. Vicky Hartzler (R-Mo.) pointed to Title 10, Section 284 of the U.S. Code, that authorizes the Defense Dept to provide support for counter-drug activities, if such help is requested by appropriate federal or state officials.
John Rood was asked: "Has President Trump, to your knowledge, ever used 10 U.S.C. 284 to direct the military to build the wall that is necessary for border security?"
Rood replied: "No, not to my knowledge, Congressman."
Rood was asked: "If President Trump were to direct the Pentagon, the United States military, pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 284 to build such barriers as are necessary to secure our Southern border from drug trafficking and international crime cartels, would the United States military obey that order?"

1-30-19, Henry Morris, PhD -- The so-called “great commission” of the Lord to His disciples is found in somewhat different form in each of the four gospels and in still another form in the first chapter of Acts. To get the full message of the commission, all five must be analyzed and organized together.
The most familiar statement is in Mark 16:15 above. This was in the upper room and must have followed the words recorded by John: “Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you” (John 20:21).
The commission was then further defined as recorded in Luke 24:47-48: “That repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things.”
Still later, on a mountain in Galilee, He told the disciples (literally): “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20).
Not only were they to preach the saving gospel, implemented by true repentance unto remission of sins, based on Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection (Luke 24:46), but then to “disciple” people, baptize them and indoctrinate them in all His teachings.
Finally, just before the Lord's ascension, He summarized the commission once again: “Ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8). According to the Jerusalem Post [2] the highly anticipated Trump peace plan is scheduled to be released shortly after the April 9, 2020 Jewish state election. Reportedly the agreement will include total US support:
- for Israel with anything concerning the Iranian nuclear weapons program
- for Israel in the international forum should Israel decide to act directly against Iran
- and substantial military aid, including advanced weaponry, should a conflict break out with Syria or Iran, even if the conflict is initiated by Israel
- the dividing of Jerusalem
- possibly a sovereign state for the Muslims aka “Palestinians” with their capitol in East Jerusalem
- A new “prince” will have come into power
- In whose name will he come?
- Will he be the peacemaker or power broker spoken of by the prophet as described in Daniel 9:27

Robert "LaVoy" Finicum, an Arizona rancher who was killed in what was called a 'traffic stop' One of the most damning bits of information regarding the indefensible decision by authorities to set up the ambush in which LaVoy Finicum was killed is found on page 33 of the complaint. It points out that at the time of the so-called “traffic stop”: "There was still no arrest warrant, sworn affidavit or probable cause statement, criminal complaint or indictment against LaVoy Finicum, or any of the passengers in these vehicles."
