4-30-18, Considering the huge events occurring throughout the world, especially in the Middle East and North Korea … these scriptures are especially poignant. For centuries God’s mysteries have been concealed [Daniel 12:4]; mankind has struggled to interpret the parables; often failing. Perhaps NOW Habukkuk 2:3 and Revelation 22:10 are in effect.

Isaiah 2:2 Now it will come about that In the last days the mountain of the house of the LORD Will be established as the chief of the mountains, And will be raised above the hills; And all the nations will stream to it.
Isaiah 46:10 “Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, 'My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure';

Saudi Prince Criticizes "Palestinians"

Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman excoriated Palestinian leaders during talks last month with American Jewish leaders.

4-29-18, Arutz Sheva -- As part of his speaking tour in the US, the Crown Prince met with American Jewish leaders, including representatives of the American Jewish Committee and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).
During the meetings, Bin Salman reportedly vented his frustrations with the PA’s leadership, telling American Jewish leaders that the PA, and PLO before it, had missed countless opportunities over the past four decades.
"Over the past 40 years, the Palestinian leadership has again and again missed opportunities and rejected all the proposals that were given to them," Bin Salman was quoted as saying.
The Crown Prince went on to say that the PA should accept whatever proposal the Trump administration makes for a Middle East peace plan – or “stop complaining”. [..snip]
Last month, Saudi Arabia permitted the first-ever flight to Israel to enter Saudi air space, the latest sign of the quiet thawing of relations between the Jewish state and the Saudi kingdom.

Today, Monday, 4/30/18 the Prime Minister said:

The Israeli leader spoke in English and showed pictures and videos purporting to be of historic secret Iranian nuclear facilities, as well as Iranian documents and plans to develop atomic weapons.

"After signing the nuclear deal in 2015, Iran intensified its efforts to hide its secret files. In 2017 Iran moved its nuclear weapons files to a highly secret location in Tehran."
Netanyahu referred to a secret Iranian nuclear project, codenamed "Amad", which he said had been shelved in 2003, but he said work in the field had continued.

The Parables of the Talents & Pounds
Servant's Reward
“The kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.”

Matthew 25:14

4-28-18, * -- The Parable of the Talents [Matt 25:14-30] and The Parable of the Pounds [Luke 19:11-27] both teach the same basic truth. The Lord did indeed call "His own servants, and deliver unto them His goods." The Lord's "goods" are His Word, especially the knowledge of His plan of salvation: death, burial and resurrection, by which every true repentant believer has been saved.

God’s disciples have been given Christ’s Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) which is the responsibility for carrying the "Good News" that men and women, boys and girls, might be forgiven and have eternal life with Christ; and that it's a free gift (Ephesians 2:8-9).

The Lord knows each of His children intimately giving to each according to their ability (Matt 25:15) asking no more of any believer than He knows that believer is capable of carrying out. There will come a time when each of us will have to give account for our service for the Lord Jesus. Whether we served Him faithfully, or whether we hardly served Him at all (1 Corinthians 3:11-15).

The first two servants in the parables had been faithful, gaining more as they served the Lord (Matt 25:20; 25:29). Their reward was to "rule" or be made "ruler over many things, and to enter.....into the joy of thy Lord" [Matt 25:21; 25:23]. We also learn of the consequences of the unfaithful servants. They used their blessings serving the world and seeking uncertain riches rather than serving the Lord. They disobeyed and totally ignored the Lord's commands [Matthew 6:33].

Therefore, the Lord took away the opportunity to rule and reign with Christ, which as a child of God, he once had giving it to those servants who had been faithful. The inspired Apostle Paul clearly warned God's people, that if we are not faithful in serving the Lord, we "shall suffer loss" (1 Corinthians 3:15; Rev 5:8-10). [What that ‘loss’ will be is controversial. – Ed.]

Before the Lord Jesus left, He promised His disciples that He would come again (John 14:3); and the Lord always keeps His promises (Hebrews 10:23). In this Laodicean church age (Revelation 3:14-22), true believers are encouraged to live faithfully for our Lord Jesus Christ; praying and watching! The Lord is standing at the door, His arrival could be any minute! Revelation 3:20

World Celebrates Initial Peace Talks Between North and South Korea
4-26-18, During the peace summit, the first between the two Koreas’ leaders in more than a decade, the South Korean president Moon Jai-In said: “I hope we engage in frank talks and reach a bold agreement so that we may give a big gift to the whole Korean people and the people who want peace.”

The Panmunjom Declaration, will include denuclearization, peace and promotion of bilateral ties. Before the summit, Kim stopped to sign a guest book in South Korea’s Peace House. “A new history starts now. An age of peace, from the starting point of history.” [The last nuclear test, conducted by North Korea was on September 3, 2017.]

Noticeable differences between Friday’s summit and its predecessors include Kim’s decision to visit South Korea for the summit and talk of turning the demilitarized zone into a peace zone. More here

3-22-18, * -- I still remember the day I found myself in a circle of broken men admitting my need for God's mercy. Not everyone was there for the same reasons, but most shared a similar look of shame and desperation.

"My name is Charlie and I, uh, can't stop drinking; I'm an alcoholic. Tears welled up in his eyes as he looked down and quietly murmured to the group, "I hate what I've become."

Tim said, "Well, can't believe I came in that door; mus' be God brought me here. I'm at the shelter cuz' once you get out of jail ain't no one there for you. I came, to get right with God, you know?"

My turn: My shifting eyes and shaking foot gave away my nervous energy. "I was repeatedly abused by a family friend when I was a kid and also had a lot of trauma growing up. I struggle with despair, lust, doubt and bitterness."

Last man: Phil sat slumped in his chair; arms crossed. He wasn't looking down like most, but was moving his eyes around the group and his face was noticeably red. He said, "Someone suggested I come here because of a mild drinking problem, but after I walked in the door I found out this church thinks I'm a sinner because I'm gay and in a relationship. I don't want to be in this hateful place!"

The leader of the group asked Phil, ‘Why are you still here if you have already decided it wasn't for you?’ The answer became clear: Phil was here to argue and make a point. He wanted validation for his belief that his alcoholism and all of the other things shared in the group were definitely wrong, but not his cherished homosexuality. He did agree that Charlie, Tim and I were in need of help, but he was — just a mild over-drinker — had no deep dark secrets or desperate acknowledged need for a Savior; certainly no shame.

He raised his voice as his face grew even more red making his penultimate point: "You know what, I WAS BORN THIS WAY! It's who I am. How can that possibly be sinful? What kind of a God would make me like this and then judge me for it!? Bunch of hypocrites!"

After that, Phil didn't stay long. Surely he confidently felt he could report back to whomever urged him to come, that he successfully set the Christian hypocrites straight! That homosexuals don’t need their help. Thus Phil would continue to be the proud, flamboyant gay, who does no wrong, except, well, for that mild drinking problem. Phil, the arrogant deluded homosexual [2].

Yes, the deluded homosexuals strongly argue that they are not behaving against God's design. The following scripture passage [1 Corinthians 6:9-11] is receiving an unprecedented level of textual criticism in light of the modern cultural shift:

“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.” 1 Cor 6:9-11

Never before in Church history have theologians argued that this passage does not refer to homosexuality. However, now they try. It is absolutely as plain as day—no assumptions or inference necessary. The Greek word used in 1 Corinthians 6:9 is arsenokoites it’s the word for homosexual. [1]

There are numerous other Bible passages unequivocally identify the sinful nature of homosexuality along with other gender-bending sexual practices like transgenderism and cross-dressing. [The Lord Jesus defined marriage between a man and woman, Matthew 19:5-6] 1 Corinthians 6:9 doesn’t stand alone: Gen. 1:27–28; Lev. 18:22; Deut. 22:5; 23:1; Matt. 19:4–6; Rom. 1:26–28; 1 Cor. 11:14–15; 1 Tim. 1:10

Phil and his unfortunate bed mates can huff and puff arguing how their abomination of a sex life is as natural as their eyes being brown or blue … but the Word of God couldn’t be any clearer. It’s sad that these people are so deceived.

“Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.” Ephesians 5:6; 2 Corinthians 11:3, 13-15; Galatians 6:7; 1 Timothy 4:2

In the Bible, Which Tree Is The Symbol Of The Jewish Nation of Israel? Fig or Olive?

4-27-18, The ‘Olive Tree’ is the symbol of Israel not the ‘fig tree’ (Matthew 24:32-34; Luke 21:29-30). They say if you listen to a falsehood often enough it becomes truth. The popularized error about this fig tree parable is that it had to do with the rebirth of the nation of Israel.

“Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.” Luke 21:29-32

Notice he says ‘and all the trees.’ If the fig tree is Israel then all the trees would be what; all the nations? Are all nations to be re-birthed? We (the Church) are being told to watch for signs that herald the season of Jesus’ Second Coming; therefore the fig tree refers to a plant or seasons.

ILLEGAL MIGRANTS RAPING ELDERLY WOMEN

April 25, 2018, Ann Coulter -- A few days ago, jury selection began in the trial of illegal alien migrant Victor Martinez Ramirez and anchor baby Jose Villagomez for the rape, torture and murder of 64-year-old Marilyn Pharis. Reports follow:

In 2015, Santa Maria CA 64 yr old Marilyn Pharis was attacked, just a few weeks after Kate Steinle was killed by an illegal in San Francisco. Like Steinle's killer, Martinez Ramirez had a lengthy arrest record in the USA, including felony assault with intent to commit sexual assault. A week before his violent home invasion, he was released from jail on drug and weapons charges. Ms Pharis was attacked at 10 in the morning, at home, sleeping in her own bed. She was beaten with a hammer, she was penetrated and suffered a broken neck & eye sockets. She still managed to call 911 and died 8 days later in the hospital.
In 2013, Omaha Sergio Martinez-Perez worked as a roofer. One night he got drunk, broke into 93-year-old Louise Sollowin's home savagely beat her, breaking her nose and orbital bones, ripped off her adult diaper and raped her. Mrs. Sollowin's daughter had put her mother to bed earlier that night. When she returned at 8:30 am the next morning, she found Sergio lying naked and passed out on top of her mother's bloody body; 3 days later Mrs. Sollowin died.
In 2002, Klamath Falls, OR Mexican illegal migrant, Victor Martinez raped, sodomized and beat two 50 yr old nuns. He strangled one to death with her rosary prayer beads. Martinez had been arrested multiple times before for kidnapping, robbery and possession of narcotics. Under Clinton and Bush administrations, three times Martinez had been ordered deported.
In 2013, Broomfield CO, Antonio Nieto, a certified nursing home nursing assistant, was convicted of sexually assaulting patients. Three female patients were sexually assaulted by him, one 59, 73 years old, and a 93 year old women.
In 2008, Texas a rash of rapes of women older than 60 ended when police arrested Jose Ayala Nunez, a Honduran illegal immigrant, who later pleaded guilty to the assaults.
In May 2014, Springfield, MA the 24-year-old Parkpoom Seesangrit, an anchor baby, was a student at the American International College and worked at a nursing home for the elderly. He was arrested for raping a 69-year-old dementia patient; he was convicted and sentenced to six to eight years in prison.
March 2018, Pennsylvania the 23-year-old Ghanaian immigrant Fode Doukoure pleaded guilty to raping a 74-year-old wheel chair bound woman; he drugged her first. In court he promised the soft hearted judge, Christylee Peck to "stay out of trouble ..." Judge Peck sentenced him to time served [16 months in county lockup waiting for trial] and was immediately released. The judge stressed that as he was in the USA on a green card, the convictions placed him at risk of being deported.

4-26-18, Early in 2017 at Fort Leonard Wood Missouri the Army authorized beards for religious soldiers. The move was a response to years of requests — and a lawsuit — from Sikh soldiers seeking to both serve and adhere to the tenets of their faith.

According to an undated memo, the directive technically applied to all religions; including Norse pagans. Col Curtis Schroeder granted an unnamed soldier to wear a beard subject to standards and limitations. Morris, PhD -- In this stirring doxology to the One who allowed him into the ministry (1 Tim 1:12-13), whose grace “was exceeding abundant” (1 Tim 1:14), who “came into the world to save sinners” (1 Tim 1:15), who showed mercy and longsuffering, and who grants “life everlasting” (1 Tim 1:16), Paul uses several majestic descriptive terms. Each deserves our attention:

The King eternal. God’s sovereign kingship is in view here. The phrase literally translates, the “King of the ages.” “But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king” (Jeremiah 10:10). He is the King, and we must stand in submission to Him.
Immortal. The Greek word used here implies more than mere exemption from death. A fuller meaning would include total incorruptibility; i.e., the inability to be stained by either decay or death. What a comfort to realize that the believer’s crown in glory will be likewise incorruptible (1 Corinthians 9:25), as will his resurrection body (1 Corinthians 15:52).
Invisible. God is a Spirit and as such cannot be seen. He has chosen to appear on numerous occasions, most notably as Christ, but is usually unseen, the primary meaning of the word. Christ “is the image of the invisible [same word] God, the firstborn of every creature” (Colossians 1:15). Seen or unseen, He merits our praise.
The only wise God. God is unique in His existence and wisdom, “God only wise” (Romans 16:27). He stands alone, solitary, apart from all others.

Surely to this eternal, incorruptible, unseen, unique, wise, sovereign King belongs “honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.” 1 Timothy 1:17 Source

4-15-18, Henry Morris, III -- This succinct command quickly is followed by a sweeping description of the impotent mind of the Gentiles of that day in contrast to the utterly changed condition of the believer (whether Jew or Gentile). The non-Christian Gentiles had a darkened perceptive ability, rendering them alienated because of the ignorance that was in them, and an overall blindness of their heart that was the root cause of their inability to function, even to feel, in the same way as the children of God (Ephesians 4:18-19; compare Romans 1:21-32; 2 Corinthians 4:3-4).

The saint of God, however, is told to discard the old man and to put on the new man (Ephesians 4:20-24), as though that simple picture of a powerful reality is adequate instruction to fulfill the earlier command. No longer is the child of God to be corrupted by the deceitful lusts of his or her old condition, but having learned Christ and been taught by Him is to be renewed in the spirit of their mind. A transformation is now possible through the new mental (intellectual, spiritual) abilities given to us by Christ (Romans 12:1-2; 1 Corinthians 2:16).

The "new man" [& woman], which we are responsible to wear like a body-enveloping cloak, is created for us by the omniscient Creator in righteousness and true holiness. We have been given a specially created new man to wear (externally visible), which will show (exhibit, demonstrate, make clear) the spiritual difference between the Gentiles and the born again saints of God. If California’s LGBT Therapy Ban - AB 2943 - Had Been Law - Thirty Years Ago, I Might Have Killed Myself

4-25-18, Walt Heyer -- While living in California more than 30 years ago, I had access to sound, effective, time-tested psychotherapy. Because of it, I walked away from the homosexual aka transgender life I had lived as Laura Jensen for eight years in San Francisco. In the 1990s if I had been prevented from access to counseling and materials, as Assembly Bill 2943 proposes, most likely I would have died from suicide or, as this bill proposes, once I embraced my life as a trans-woman, I was sentenced for life.

California AB 2943 prevents counselors from helping adult clients deal with unwanted same-sex attraction or gender confusion, and prohibits authors from selling a book, or even a church from hosting a ticketed conference, addressing these topics.

I started my journey toward redemption and the restoration of my male gender on April 7, 1990, with the help of two outstanding Christian therapists to whom I owe my life. The healing psychotherapy provided me has resulted in 32 years of sobriety, complete restoration of my male gender for 28 years, and marriage to a wonderful woman for 21 years. I speak out for the others who feel hopeless and stuck in a lifestyle that doesn’t fit them anymore. Only an uncaring legislature would sign such a draconian bill into law.

If you think detransitions are rare, just Google “detransition” and see the multitude of videos from courageous formerly trans people who tell of the peace they have found with their God-given gender through a combination of counseling and faith. If this bill becomes law, these people will no longer have access to help they choose, because apparently some in California’s government think no one should be allowed to change his or her mind about what constitutes being at peace with one’s sex.

“People have the right to seek the counsel of their choice, but this bill substitutes the government for personal choice,” says Liberty Counsel founder Mat Staver. People entering into psychotherapy for gender dysphoria would no longer have the freedom of setting their treatment goals if those goals differ from the government-mandated one.

AB 2932 has teeth. It proposes to financially ruin those who provide information contrary to the LGBT ideology on gender and sex. Anyone who sells books, counseling services, or anything else that helps someone overcome unwanted transgender identity can be charged with engaging in “unfair or deceptive acts or practices” and be obligated to pay punitive damages, court costs, and attorney’s fees.

While I still have the freedom to speak without fear of punishment, I will tell you what the authors of this bill don’t want you to know. Namely when an individual self-identifies as being the other gender, this is not objectively provable through science, medicine, or biological truth. It is simply an idea some people have. It can be a strongly held idea, but it is a fantasy that has serious consequences.

This diverse population has a need to act out their cross-gender masquerade. This should strongly suggest that something much deeper sexually, emotionally, or psychologically is causing this unusual behavior. Unresolved pathologies need to be discovered and treated before cross-gender hormones are taken and any gender surgeries are performed, to ensure these drastic alterations to one’s body are actually addressing the real needs of the person.

People Deserve the Freedom to Consider All Options
Gender dysphoria or cross-gender expression can evolve from difficult family situations where children are caught between battling parents, placed in foster care, or live in other types of unsettling environments that result in the child feeling depressed and anxious over a long period.

A 2016 study shows a high prevalence of psychiatric diagnoses in a community-recruited sample of young transgender women. Forty-one percent of participants had one or more mental health or substance dependence diagnoses. People would not be allowed to hear about the failure of sex change to resolve gender confusion or about the high rate of attempted suicide after taking cross-gender hormones. According to suicide.org, 90 percent of all people who die by their own hand, including those who identify as transgender, have untreated mental illness.

AB 2943 would not allow me to share that autogynephilia, an erotic or affection phenomenon, can lead to a misguided request for gender-change surgery. Autogynephilic men fall in love with the idea of themselves as women. They will seek sex reassignment because they are sexually aroused by the idea of having breast implants and other cosmetic surgery to feminize their appearance. They are the object of their own affection.

He stands accused of aiding the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), considered a terrorist group by the Turkish government for its separatist insurgency. He is also accused of having links to followers of Fethullah Gulen, a Muslim imam who lives in Pennsylvania USA and who the government blames for the coup against President Erdogan. His heartbreaking appeal to the court was denied although Pastor Brunson revealed that he had suffered a breakdown in jail and stopped eating. Senator Thom Tillis of North Carolina USA, Brunson’s home state, was present for the trial; also Sam Brownback, a former senator and governor from Kansas whom President Trump recently appointed as ambassador at large for international religious freedom. 4-24-18, * -- How many times have the Jews fled since the Muslim Dome of the Rock was erected in Jerusalem in 688 AD? The “false religion” is in several passages in Revelation 13:2-3, 20:4 wherein there are worshipers of the beast, his prophet and beheaded Christians.

Although Islam isn’t directly called a "religion" per se, there's a leader, a prophet and worship can only mean there is a religious component to the activities. Because Islam is recognized by the world as a "religion;" that’s so strongly against Judaism and Christianity, it only follows that here is where the enmity begins and we recognize it as the ‘Beast of Revelation.’ Revelation 13:12

It also follows that if Jesus is the Christ [and He is], then Mohammed would be the false christ. In Islam Jesus is only called a prophet; wouldn't Mohammed then be the false prophet to Christianity? Islam copies Christianity in every form, only in a negative sense; pro vs con or good vs evil. Things we know:

Abraham had two sons from two women: Isaac and Ishmael
Isaac son of Sarah is in the lineage of the Jewish nation
Ishmael Son of Egyptian Hagar is in the lineage the Muslims

The scripture in Revelation 13:3 where the beast was dead and is alive again certainly appears to be the fulfillment of the BATTLE OF TOURS … in 732 AD Charles Martel of France killed the Muslim beast – but it’s alive again. [1]

There was enmity between the nations created by Isaac and Ishmael and there still is. Fast forward to today: Using the scripture in Matt 24:7 and Luke 21:10 it shows that "nation," defined as a tribe, people group, and/or a multitude of individuals of the same nature or genus, also waters [Rev 17:15] shall rise against "nation." Now insert the names of the tribes, Isaac and Ishmael or their descendants, the Jews and Muslims, and you see exactly what Jesus was talking about.

There can be other nations and tribes substituted, but the emphasis of the scripture is on the history of the people of Isaac, therefore the natural choice of Ishmael would be most likely.

The Jews are the chosen people through Isaac
Jesus is the Christ, born into the tribe of Judah, son of Jacob, son of Isaac
Christianity is the true "religion" Jesus is the Christ

Islam is the anti-chosen people through Ishmael
Muhammed is the false-Christ born into the nation of Ishmael and "false prophet"
Islam is the "false religion" spoken of in Revelation

Once we begin to see and recognize that Islam is the beast and false religion of Revelation, the scripture begins to make perfect sense:

Gen 16:12 He (Ishmael and his descendents) will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone’s hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers.”

Compare the methods used by the adherents of Islam to convert Christians - submit or be beheaded. Sounds just like the methods used by the false prophet and anti-christ in Revelation - I don't believe this description is a coincidence. I've found no evidence that counters these conclusions.

God uses what He has available to accomplish His goals - whether it is a reluctant person (i.e. Jonah), an animal (donkey), a nation (Assyria), or a religious caliphate (Turkey’s Erdogan or ISIS). There is no need for Him to create a false religion or false prophet (as in Revelation 13:2-4, 17:5,12; 20:8) when one already exists. Simply because they have existed since the 7th century is no reason to exclude them in the overall prophecy of the end time.
