12-31-20, Bill Wilson -- ​Looking back on 2020, it was a year of great promise turned ugly. From COVID to lockdowns to racial issues to radical violence to a disputed election, America and Americans were under extraordinary pressure. We didn’t get a break. For the first time in history, healthy people were quarantined. The economy was locked down. The wheels of commerce were braked until they smoked. Medical science sent conflicting signals. The news media repeatedly lied. Politicians fought without resolve. And the end of the year is one that most people want to close out and forget, but that will not happen because there are so many unresolved issues ushering in 2021. We need to get a handle on this. We need leadership.

This country cannot continue to lead the world under the current environment. America will be a country, but its position in the world will be challenged, especially by China. The rest of the world looks to the United States as a leader for economy, liberty, individual rights, and innovation. Currently, all those areas are under threat because of emotionalism, cronyism, ideological bigotry and political intolerance. Judgment and common sense are clouded by conflicting concepts.

​Everywhere we turn, we are presented with a challenge to any traditional norm. Science is what the big companies with the big money pay for it to be. Mask, no mask. Vaccines that have no track record and are only considered 50% effective with tremendous side effects. And if you don’t wear a mask and take the vaccine, you are a social pariah.

2020 was a year where totalitarianism took a giant leap forward. COVID was the catalyst. Fear was the driver. It seemed to cause Americans to forget themselves. Who are we? What are we? From a Christian standpoint, we had better figure out who we are otherwise the time-tested freedom to worship the Lord freely in this country will be threatened. We had better figure out how to stand as Christians or there will be fewer and fewer opportunities to share the gospel and to do the work of faith around the world. We had better determine that Christianity is not feel-good, self-indulgence based on some erroneous concept of scripture, but rather a way of life that is lived as an example to others by the instruction of Christ. We need to realize that this country and the world around us is a reflection of us. We can be the difference.

Where is the perfect liberty in which Christ has set us free, if not in his salvation and the world changing power of that salvation? Can we not look at our lives with introspect and determine what it is we need to do to make this world a better place, then do it? Can we not begin with as Christ said in John 15:12, “This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” -?- Matthew 24:14

Can we not take it upon ourselves to “put away the childish things” and, as in Acts 17:6 be those who “have turned the world upside down”? There are many in Christianity who say, “don’t be involved in politics,” “don’t be involved in business,” “don’t do this, don’t do that.”

What about just “doing” where the Lord has placed you, making a positive difference where you can? These are the challenges for the year ahead. Source

The top 10: Joe Biden 6%, Dr. Anthony Fauci 3%, Pope Francis 2%, Tesla founder Elon Musk, Sen. Bernie Sanders, Microsoft’s Bill Gates, NBA star LeBron James and the Dalai Lama finishing each with 1%.

"What man that you have heard or read about, living today in any part of the world, do you admire most?" In response, 18% of Americans named Trump, the highest percentage. In second place was Barack Obama with 15%.

What Happens When US Congress Meets Jan 6, 2021 about Presidential Election?

12-31-20, Under US federal law, Congress must meet on January 6, 2021 to open sealed certificates from each state that contain a record of their electoral votes. The votes are brought into the chamber in mahogany boxes.  The Jan 6, 2021 congressional count is the final step in affirming a win for Biden (or not). The meeting includes several distinct steps:

Some Republicans have said they will officially object to the results, forcing votes in the Republican-run Senate and the Democrat-controlled House. And, so far, one Republicans senator from Missouri Josh Hawley has objected as required.

Bipartisan representatives of both chambers read the results out loud and do an official count. The president of the Senate is the Vice President Who presides over the session and declares the winner. ​ If there is a tie, then the House decides the presidency, with each congressional state’s delegation has one vote. That hasn’t happened since the 1800s.

The two chambers meet midday to count the votes in alphabetical order of the states. The appointed “tellers” from each chamber, members of both parties, then read each certificate out loud. The tellers record and count the votes, The presiding officer announces who has won the majority votes for both president and vice president.

WHAT IF THERE’S AN OBJECTION? After a teller reads the certificate from a state, any member can stand up and object to that state’s vote on any grounds. But the presiding officer will not hear the objection unless it is in writing and signed by both a member of the House and a member of the Senate.
If there is such a joint objection and request, then the joint session suspends and the House and Senate go into separate sessions to consider it. For the objection to be sustained, both chambers must agree to it by a simple majority vote.

12-26-20 -- The Arrested Development star is the latest left-wing celebrity to publicly reject Biden’s call for healing and unity. Comedian Wanda Sykes called all Donald Trump voters “racist” and actress Rosanna Arquette called the GOP the “Nazi Gestapo.”

Cross faced immediate backlash for the tweet, but did not walk back and apologize. Rather, he doubled down on his call for violence, calling Trump supporters “maga chuds and chudettes.” 
​This public call for retribution and punishment did not stop at Hollywood celebrities. Last month, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) urged the creation of lists to hold Trump supporters “accountable” for supporting the president in the election.

12-21-20, This is the concluding verse of the tenth chapter of Genesis, known as “The Table of Nations.” It tells us that all the original nations of the world were formed from the descendants of Noah. The basis of this worldwide division was their dispersion at [Tower of Babel, Genesis 11:9], “every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations” (Genesis 10:5, 20, 31). Lest anyone think this list of original nations is simply folklore, he should remember that William F. Albright, probably the greatest archaeologist of the 20th century, called it “an astonishingly accurate document.”

​Many ethnologists still speak of Japhetic, Hamitic, and Semitic peoples and languages. However, what about the origin of races? One searches the Bible in vain for this information, for neither the word nor the concept of “race” appears in the Bible at all!

Skin color and other supposed racial characteristics are mere recombinations of innate genetic factors, originally created in Adam and Eve to permit development of different family characteristics as the human race was commanded to multiply and fill the earth (Genesis 1:28, 9:1).
“Race” is strictly an evolutionary concept used by Darwin, Huxley, Haeckel, and the other 19th-century evolutionists to rationalize their white racism. ​12-28-20, Dr Charles Stanley -- When I hear a Christian believer announce, “I’m just a sinner,” I feel like saying, “That’s what you used to be.”

A lot of folks cling to a view of themselves as a patched-up, slightly-better-than-before version of their old self. However, the Bible contradicts that opinion:

"If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away, behold, new things have come” (2 Cor. 5:17). In fact, according to Scripture, we’re dramatically different once we are complete in Christ. The question is whether people will trust in what they feel or believe what God says about them. God's Word calls us saints (Rom. 1:7), disciples (Matt. 28:19), and fellow heirs with Jesus Christ (Rom. 8:17; Luke 19:10; Matthew 18:12)

If your opinion is that you are “just a sinner,” then you cannot have proper identity in the sinless Savior, Jesus Christ. Believing what God says about our new self and behaviors are a choice.

Satan certainly conspires to convince believers that God’s Word doesn’t apply to them. He knows that people held captive by spiritual poverty back away from opportunities to share the gospel and serve the Lord’s kingdom. It’s much easier to spiritually bankrupt someone who already thinks of him- or herself as “just a sinner” than it is to conquer a disciple who knows God is his loving Father. Our true identity is defined not by our past actions but by the Savior’s. Jesus purchased our lives with His blood and brought us into relationship with God the Father, who adopted us as beloved children.

We have every reason to hold our heads high, stand firm, and courageously proclaim the Gospel as we know that althought we were ONCE a sinner; we no longer are. Hallelujah! Source

12-25-20, Trending -- Kentucky Republican Sen Rand Paul says Americans should really be pushing back – hard – on governors who have become “dictators” with their lockdowns, restrictions and mandates. He said: “You know, nobody ever intended that governors would be sort of czars or dictators in charge of the economy. In my state, you can’t have indoor dining, you can’t have outdoor dining, and your kids are not in school. We’re worse than New York City right now. In Kentucky, our governor has shut the schools down even though all of the science shows that—and all of the evidence—that you really aren’t having a surge when you have the schools open.”

Paul went on to criticize governors who continue to restrict mostly small business activities in their states because they have been receiving CARES Act funding and other federal stimulus spending.
“So I think that we shouldn’t be passing out any money to the states, we shouldn’t be rewarding their bad behavior. And really, this has probably been the worst time in the history of our country for power being accumulated into the hands of very few people.”
Paul added that state leaders need to balance public health concerns in a way that don’t trample constitutional rights (none of which come with a ‘pandemic’ provision). Lockdowns don't 'follow the science.' More here

Officers are trained to consider using deadly force when confronting suspects with edged weapons [knives] if they’re the first officers on the scene. An officer is more likely to consider less-than-lethal force when backup arrives, however that’s not always the case. 
Officers are likely to fall back on their training tactic requiring officers to consider the 21-foot rule in determining whether to use deadly force. The rule comes from research that determined that an average-sized suspect armed with a knife can cover a distance of 21 feet in the time it takes an officer to draw his or her weapon and fire two rounds at the center of the body. Police have to be closer to the suspect to use a stun gun, which puts them within the 21-foot zone, this less-than-lethal option may not always be effective. Calling it a “subpar” weapon. =>

​12-26-20, Anne Graham Lotz -- My grandfather was a medical missionary to China for twenty-five years. He established a three-hundred-bed hospital where he treated just about every type of illness and injury that could be named. Many of his Chinese patients were cured of diseases and saved from death by his skilled ministrations. But in time, every single one of the people who went through his hospital died. If all my grandfather had accomplished was to meet the physical needs of these people, his efforts would have been hopelessly futile. 

But my grandfather was wise. He knew that “man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment,” and so all of his ambulatory patients were required to attend chapel every day in the hospital where they were given a Bible lesson and presented with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Those who were unable to leave their beds were visited personally by someone who would share Christ with them.

Hundreds, and even thousands, of Chinese men and women received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior at the Love-and-Mercy Hospital in Tsingkiangpu, China. And so many of my grandfather’s patients who eventually died – still live.

And he sent them to Bethlehem, saying, “Go and search diligently for the child, and when you have found him, bring me word, that I too may come and worship him.” After listening to the king, they went on their way. And behold, the star that they had seen when it rose went before them until it came to rest over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy.  And going into the house they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and  frankincense and myrrh. And being warned  in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed to their own country by another way.

Mary wasn't a perpetual virgin. She and her husband, Joseph had a traditional marriage and Jesus had many brethren: James, Joseph, Simon, Judas [not Iscariot] and at least two sisters. 12-22-20, Zero Hedge -- The Covid 'Stimulus Bill' has billions to foreign countries, Kennedy Center, HIV Aids research, gender programs in Pakistan, drug control ... all going above and beyond common sense. Family members of unauthorized immigrants are now eligible to get stimulus checks under the $900 billion deal reached last night. That eligibility is retroactive, so adults excluded last time now could get up to $1800. Many Republicans are speaking out against this stimulus bill wanting President Trump to Veto it.

The gov't closes the economy. You lose your job. You face eviction. This 5,000 page insanely long piece of legislation took three hours to print ... yet the legislators approve it without even reading it. Many object and want President Trump to veto it excerpt follows:

12-11-20, Fox News -- The Election Fraud Texas' [plus other states'] case was denied by the USA Supreme Court. The case would have invalidated the votes in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia and Wisconsin. However, the order does not foreclose any other pending or future election appeals at the Supreme Court. 
The Supreme Court’s order reads: “Texas has not demonstrated a judicially cognizable interest in the manner in which another State conducts its elections. All other pending motions are dismissed as moot.”

Colorado, Dr. Matthew Salzberg got his COVID-19 vaccine shot and a tracking device - stated purpose to monitor reactions after vaccination. It's called a 'bioButton" aka "Biointellisense"' produced by a Golden, Colorado based company attached to his chest.

It communicates via Bluetooth with his smartphone and an app tells him how things are going, plus the company monitors it. Dr. Richard Zane, chief innovation Officer at UCHealth and Chief of Emergency Services at UCHealth Hospital, measures and transmits data about heart rate, temperature, respiratory rate and a certain degree of movement: 

“You get a report from the company every couple of hours that tell you what your vitals have been doing over the past several hours. There are delayed reactions that we don’t know about. It’s a new vaccine, and it appears to be extremely safe based on the clinical trial data … we want to be careful especially in that elderly, fragile patient population. So what we’re looking for in that patient population is any inkling to deterioration ... with a combination of movement.”

11-8-20, RealClearPolitics -- Former GOP Speaker of the House during Clinton's years, Newt Gingrich said it looks like the Democrats have "stolen five or six states" and urged President Trump to continue his fight in the courts. We believe Philadelphia, Detroit, Milwaukee, Arizona, Nevada and Fulton county, Georgia has fraudulent ballot tallies. Interestingly Patrick Basham, who's the most accurate pollster -- he's British -- wrote in a British newspaper this morning that this clearly was a stolen election, that it is impossible to imagine that Biden outran Obama in some of these states.

We believe these people [Democrat leaders] are thieves, we believe the big city machines are corrupt; if you look at places like Cleveland or Chicago or New York, none of this happened. But where it mattered, they stole what they had to steal.
I think that they have a big mountain to climb if they think they're going to get -- some Republicans will, frankly, run up and accommodate 'em and be nice and hope that the media likes them. But the base of the Republican Party is going to really want us to remember Nancy Pelosi and to offer them the same level of cooperation that Pelosi for four years offered the president - they didn't.
