Here are two thrones mentioned - My throne, saith Christ: this is the condition of glorified saints who sit with Christ in His throne. “But My Father’s (i.e., God’s) throne is the power of divine majesty.” Herein none may sit but God and the God-man Jesus Christ. The promise of sharing the throne is the climax of an ascending series of glorious promises, which carry the thought from the Garden of Eden (Revelation 2:7) through the wilderness (Revelation 2:17), the temple (Revelation 3:12), to the throne. The promise bears marked resemblance to the language of the apostle Paul to the Ephesians (Ephesians 2:6). This crowning promise is made to the most unpleasing of the churches. However, it is well that thus the despondency which often succeeds the sudden collapse of self-satisfied imaginations should be met by so bright a prospect. Jesus appears, though they do not recognize Him until the end of the account. One disciple is named Cleopas (Luke 24:18), while the second disciple is unnamed.
- Appearance 5: The 10 Apostles: After Jesus appeared to the two men walking to Emmaus, they returned to Jerusalem to tell the apostles. While there, Jesus appeared to 10 of the apostles, all except Thomas (Luke 24:33-49).
- Appearance 6: The 11 Apostles: John 20:26-30 records Jesus appearing to all 11 apostles “a week later” at a home in Jerusalem. This likely refers to the next Sunday. Thomas believes and no longer doubts.
- Appearance 7: The Seven Apostles: The final chapter of John records seven apostles on an all-night fishing trip that occurred on the Sea of Galilee sometime after Christ’s appearance 10 days after His resurrection and before His ascension 40 days after His resurrection. This group included Simon Peter, Thomas, Nathanael, James and John (the sons of Zebedee), and two unnamed apostles (John 21:1-14). John records this as the third time Jesus had appeared to a group of disciples following His resurrection (John 21:14).
- Appearance 8: The Apostles in Galilee: Matthew’s Gospel ends with the risen Jesus meeting the apostles in Galilee (Matthew 28:16-20). Jesus receives worship from His followers. He also gives the Great Commission to His followers, telling them to make disciples of all nations.
- Appearance 9: 500 People at One Time: In 1 Corinthians 15:6 Paul notes 500 people who saw the risen Jesus as one time. He also notes most of these people were still alive when he wrote to the Corinthians believers about 20 years later.
- Appearance 10: James: In 1 Corinthians 15:7, Paul also records Jesus appearing to James, the brother of Jesus. This helps explain why James served as a leader in the early Jerusalem Church (Acts 15) and would be responsible for writing the letter of James. His brother Jude would also become a follower of Christ and write the letter bearing his name.
- Appearance 11: The 11 Apostles: Acts 1:4-9 records the ascension of Jesus 40 days after the resurrection. This would have been 10 days before Pentecost (Acts 2). Some believe Matthew 28:16-20 records the same event, though this is uncertain.
- Appearance 12: The Apostle Paul: Both Acts 9 and 1 Corinthians 15:8 note Jesus appearing to Paul (then Saul) on the road to Damascus. Though outside of the 40 days following the resurrection of Jesus, it was clearly Jesus (Acts 9:5). Paul called himself one “abnormally born” in connection with this event. Because some interpreters do not include this appearance with the others and consider appearances 8 and 11 as the same event, others count 10 resurrection appearances of Jesus.

Montana & No Dakota to be hit with more snow on Easter Weekend, 4-17-22 after 'one-in-a-century blizzard' dumped 47 inches: Arkansas Woman killed when tree flattens her home and tornadoes destroy homes in Kentucky and Central Texas
4-14-22, DailyMail -- In Arkansas, a woman died when a tree toppled on her home in Rison shortly after 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, pinning her to the couch, said Stephen McClellan, Cleveland County´s emergency management coordinator. Rison is about 55 miles south of Little Rock. A day earlier, 23 people were injured in the central Texas town of Salado. The National Weather Service in Fort Worth said Wednesday that the twister was rated an EF3 with peak wind speeds of 165 mph.
- Tornadoes were also reported Tuesday, 4-12-22 in parts of Iowa and Minnesota. Residents in the small southeastern Minnesota farming community of Taopi were cleaning up after a devastating tornado destroyed half of the town's homes, toppled tall trees and left piles of debris.
- In Montana and North Dakota, much of the region reported at least one foot of snow. At least one mountain community had already reported nearly four feet of snow Wednesday, 4-13-22 morning.
- The entirety of Interstate 94 was closed for nearly a day, however the North Dakota Dept of Transportation has reopened the highway between Bismarck to Jamestown. The remainder of the interstate is expected to remain closed for the foreseeable future. A No-Travel Advisory remains in effect for the state as meteorologists predict the spring snowstorm could become one of the biggest in a quarter century. A separate weather system brought thunderstorms, high winds, heavy rain and hail across the midwest and into the south.
- A tornado rated EF2 with peak wind speeds of 130 mph struck Taopi No Dakota near the Iowa border late Tuesday night, tearing the roofs off houses, overturning vehicles and bringing down power lines. There were no reports of serious injuries. More here
The United Nations is Worthless
The UNSC is largely worthless, mostly because of the states that are the permanent members. This is the final straw for me with the UN. It was bad enough that all the diplomatic wranglings before the Iraq conflict were polluted in deal making and vote buying, but now they are basically refusing to aid the Iraqi people and help rebuild the country (by not lifting sanctions which now have no use) to further their own political stances against the US. How can the United Nations serve the good of the world when it is full of political nonsense? Decisions within the UN should be made on moral and humanitarian grounds, not on what will best suit its members. This disgusts me. The UN should be no more.
