5-20-18, LATimes -- The first five buses BYD sent to Los Angeles Metro were pulled off the road after less than five months of service. Internal emails and other agency records show that agency staff called them “unsuitable,” poorly made and unreliable for more than 100 miles.

Despite strong concerns from its own staff about the quality and reliability of the company’s vehicles, the transit agency awarded BYD $$ tens of millions of dollars more in public contracts.

When Chinese battery maker BYD Ltd. approached Southern California officials in 2008 touting ambitious plans to build electric cars, local politicians jumped at the promise of thousands of jobs and cleaner air. However, in the nine years since, agencies have awarded BYD grants, subsidies and public contracts worth more than $330 million for its battery-powered buses, forklifts and trucks. The company is positioned to be a prime supplier of electric buses to the nation’s second-largest system, as Los Angeles’ Metro sets a 12-year deadline to abandon fossil fuels.

After all the years of telling us that genetic engineering and changing the natural creation of our food is unhealthy for people and upsets the natural order of the environment, they now advocate engineering meat. They were overzealous as they pushed for everything vegan, deriding genetically modified foods as they consistently went after Monsanto and other chemical corporations that - in their laboratories - altered the genetic creation of food. Their plan is to make 'beef' ... genetically engineering beef from species that died out eons ago - dinosaurs; but not really reintroducing them, more like reinventing them. Outlandish as it sounds, a real live scientist thinks it’s a good idea to try and make a new dinosaur out of a chicken! 

You got that right… a chicken. The whole premise behind the scientist’s theory is that if you redesign a bird you get a dinosaur. Sound crazy? Yes, unless you’re completely given over to evolutionary teaching that dinosaurs are actually birds, having either evolved from them or into them, not really sure which.

For many of us, the deeper we delved into evolution, the less sensible it became as more questions than answers arose.  Each direction you turned, fewer facts became available to support what was being taught, making evolution appear contrived more to disparage the concept of God than to actually establish a plausible notion.

The circular thinking forwards a possible conclusion that the chickenasaur or Franken-chicken would then be a completely man-made “species” not based in fact at all, but literally built on an imagined evolutionary connection between dinosaurs and birds.

In the long run, the reinventing of God’s creations, whether it’s laboratory beef or a freakish feathered dinosaur, these strange concepts are symptoms of unchecked pride – that man can build a better mousetrap or, in this case extinct “terrible lizard,” than God. More here

6-23-18, The language of prophecy wherein we calculate "each day for a year" was well known by Matthew Henry, Thieleman J. van Braght, and Jamison, Faucett & Brown, to mention just a few. One example of a source verse is:

Ezekiel 4:6:  And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year.  
 
Regarding the 42 "months" in prophecy: There are 365.24 days in our modern solar year, or John's 1st century Julian (365.25) year, divided by 12 months = 30.44 average days in a month: Revelation 11:2: But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty [and] two months. 
 
The city of Jerusalem was under the foot of, or controlled by, Gentiles until the Israelis took back the holy city in 1967.  42 months x 30.44 days = 1278.5 days (as years). Subtracting this from 1967 we arrive at 688.5.  Once again, the founding year of the Dome of the Rock that was constructed in 688 AD. [See Mark 13:14 'abomination standing where IT ought not.']
 
It wasn't until after the events and the years of 1948 and 1967 had come to pass that we could understand the textual and mathematical solutions to these two simple problems.  
 
Further study of the above verse may well demonstrate God's wonderfully wry sense of humor.  The Solomonic Temple was built over the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite, and on that bedrock the Arc of the Covenant, or Holy or Holies, was kept.  It is obvious that the stone pictured below, in the Dome of the Rock, could hardly have served as a threshing floor, because both threshing and recovery of grain would have been beyond reason, particularly when there was a perfectly suited smooth flat rock just 300 feet away.

The old Eastern Gate lines up perfectly with the little "Dome of the Tablets". The Solomonic Temple "Court of the Gentiles", where even unwashed slaves were allowed, is likely where the Dome of the Rock was constructed.  Source
Apparently the Dome of the Rock was built in the court that was outside of the Solomonic temple, that the Lord gave to the Gentiles.  In other words, the Moslems built the Dome of the Rock - over the wrong rock!  

Daniel's 1290 "days" in prophecy, that he penned over 500 years before John authored the problems from Revelation above: Daniel 12:11: And from the time [that] the daily [sacrifice] shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, [there shall be] a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

Sacrifices were suspended three times in the Old Testament:  once before Daniel (Chronicles 28:24-25), once during the Babylonian captivity in 583 BC (Chronicles 36:19 and Ezra 3:6), and once, about four hundred years later, by the Greek king Antiochus Epiphanies.  Let's try the 583 date considering that the angel Gabriel may have had Daniel write about the abolition of sacrifices with which he was directly familiar. There is a 2-3 year leeway in Babylonian period historical dating, rendering "zero year" discussion unimportant.  Might the Lord have allowed for the calculation to remain simple anyway?

6-22-18, Let's start this section with a problem involving 1260 "days" in prophecy, from John's vision detailed in Revelation:

Revelation 12:6 "And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred [and] threescore days."

Most agree that Israel, is the "woman" in the context of this verse.  If we then consider that the end of the 1260 "days" was when Israel came out of "the wilderness" (of the people Ezekiel 20:35), or out from being scattered among the nations, returning home and declaring her independence in 1948, and subtract 1260 years ("each day for a year"), we arrive at 688 AD.  

​It is widely understood to be the founding year of the construction of the Islamic mosque, the Dome of the Rock 688 AD.  The founding verses inscribed on the walls of the Dome of the Rock "O you People of the Book, overstep not bounds in your religion, and of God speak only the truth.  The Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, is only an apostle of God, and his Word which he conveyed unto Mary, and a Spirit proceeding from him.  Believe therefore in God and his apostles, and say not Three.  It will be better for you.  God is only one God. Far be it from His transcendent majesty that he should have a son."

The blasphemous founding verses are written in the mosaic on the Dome of the Rock both inside and out.  Over the nearly 1400 years of Islamization of the Middle East, the Holy Land became spiritually desolated by the exile of Christians and Jews.  Today Iran is 99% Muslim, with Iraq at 98% and Syria at 90%, while Saudi Arabia is 100% and Turkey 99% Muslim.  By the 1800's Israel was rendered a desolate, barren, relatively abandoned, wasteland.  It is very important for everyone to get familiar with the History of Mecca.

2. (KJV) Daniel 7:1 In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, [and] told the sum of the matters.

Later in this dream we read:
(KJV)  Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak [great] words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

2500 - 552 = 1948  The restoration of the Jews to the holy land, declaring an independent Israel.  End of the Jews being given into his (their oppressors) hand and being scattered among the "wilderness" of the nations.  

"His hand" being 'little horn" - from "Zondervan Handbook to the Holy Bible" - "Opposing God's people in different guises throughout history is the "little horn" (8, 20-21), until God finally removes its power."

The probability of this prophecy - these prophecies being a pair of parallel accidents, that each span 2500 years, would be statistically absurd.  Blessedly there are many more problems that reinforce them.  For open eyes these problems aptly demonstrate that it wasn't until after the dates of 1948 and 1967 had come to pass, and we entered this - Daniel's - "time of the end", that we could understand the solutions to these simple problems both mathematically and textually.  

The book of Daniel was sealed until the "time of the end":
Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, [even] to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

God followed this up with a crystal clear statement of fact: 
Daniel 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words [are] closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

What a perfect seal God had Daniel put on this book! 

DAY YEAR LANGUAGE OF PROPHECY

Within this traditional continuous historic context of study we also find a "language" of prophecy wherein we consider "each day for a year."  We learn that this day-year principle was well known prior to the 20th century, when we look to those of the "former age" and "search of their fathers," as the Bible instructs.  More here

 ​6-18-18, * -- From the beginning of Obama’s reign, he stated his willingness to talk to Iran “without preconditions.” He ignored US property claims against Iran, and Iran’s funding, providing equipment, weapons, training and giving sanctuary to terrorists. He offered Iran economic inducements and a promise not to seek “regime change.” The preconditions are not whimsical excuses to avoid talk with Iran. They are unanimous resolutions of the UN Security Council, agreed upon after the IAEA reported that Iran was in violation of the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty. [..snip]

In May 2018, while former secretary of state under Obama, John Kerry kept meeting with Iranian leaders overseas to sabotage his country’s policies, President Donald Trump announced that America would withdraw from the Iran deal. On the eve of Trump’s decision to withdraw from the agreement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu televised captured Iranian documents that confirmed Iran never had any intention of stopping its nuclear bomb-making program.

When Trump withdrew from the Iran deal, American elites went berserk. They intimated nullification would hasten Iranian proliferation and provoke more Iranian belligerence. If Iran tries to hijack another American vessel or launches another missile near an American carrier, Trump will not react like Obama did. As the Iranians know, Trump would take military steps to terminate Iran’s ability to replicate such aggression.

In the past American and Israeli leaders often put the burden to prove good intentions on themselves, rather than their opponents. President Trump made the case that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un had to prove his good intentions as a precondition for negotiations. After North Korea tested an intercontinental ballistic missile in July 2017, Trump called Kim “Little Rocket Man” and a “madman.” Trump polarized Kim and blamed him for the growing danger to US national security. Kim released three American hostages and blew up his nuclear test site. Kim had to prove his credibility.

Not Trump.

Trump made it easy for the Americans to abandon negotiations and difficult for the North Koreans to do so. Trump effected the largest increase in US defense spending in decades. He and Defense Secretary James Mattis threatened to destroy North Korea. Trump stated often that he has no idea whether talks with Kim will lead to an agreement, but it was worth an attempt. He even canceled the summit after Kim insulted National Security Adviser John Bolton. Trump’s cancellation taught Kim the price of failure and showed Kim, that unlike his predecessors, Trump does not fear walking away. For Kim to negotiate with Trump, he must respect Trump’s choices.

The elites criticized Trump’s summitry with Kim and the summit agreement filled with platitudes. The objective was not to reach a serious agreement at this stage. The objective was to sign a piece of paper that had “Agreement” on it. By Kim signing the piece of paper, Trump has put all the time pressure on Kim alone.

Obama’s legacy in the Middle East rests on the Iran deal. When Trump terminated the deal, Obama’s Middle East legacy collapsed. Trump renewed America’s alliances with Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Israel, reducing Iranian power in the region.

Essentially, Israel now has a free hand to take preemptive action against Iranian arsenal in Syria, Lebanon and elsewhere that could strike Israel. Besides, Trump’s deal could denuclearize North Korea, and curtail the transfer of Chinese and North Korean nuclear technology to Iran. 
Unlike Obama, Trump knows how to make favorable deals. Trump is dealing with a nuclear armed North Korea because Clinton, Bush, Obama, and other US elites, enabled its nuclear armament through incompetent diplomacy.
Now that Trump is negotiating, what they fear is not that he will fail like they did. They fear that he will succeed, like only he could.

6-18-18, FoxNews -- CLARKE COUNTY, Va. -  According to officials, the Giant Hog Weed is a dangerous plant that can cause blindness and third-degree burns. The Massey Herbarium at Virginia Tech said it found about 30 plants in Clarke County, Virginia. Contact with the plant or its sap, combined with exposure to the sun, can produce third-degree burns and permanent blindness.

Giant hogweed is on the Virginia Invasive Plants Early Detection Species list, which means it is not yet widely established in the state, but is known to be highly invasive. Until recently, there were no confirmed cases of giant hogweed in Virginia.

6-21-18, Daniel Greenfield* -- Starbucks responded to a racial furor by hiring Eric Holder [1] and bumping a Jewish group objected to by anti-Semitic black nationalists. But closing its coffee shops to give employees implicit bias training doesn't seem to have dealt with the overpriced coffee place's real problems.

6-20-18, * -- The following is a study of Bible prophecy within the traditional continuous-historic context.  Let's start with a couple of Daniel's "time, times and an half" problems, and the mathematical probability of prophecy. 

In one of Daniel's dreams we read: Daniel 10:1 In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing [was] true, but the time appointed [was] long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.

Toward the end of this prophecy we read:  Daniel 12:7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which [was] upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that [it shall be] for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these [things] shall be finished.

[The first year of Cyrus in Babylon 536 BC or the third year of Cyrus to be 533 BC]

Jews - both Messianic and non-Messianic - translation of the Hebrew idiom "time, times and an half" is somewhat different than most of us Christians may have been taught.  While Daniel's prophecies use this "times" idiom, the Old Testament never defines it.  However, most Christians are familiar with the following verse from the New Testament:

2 Peter 3:8  But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day [is] with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

The Greek word that is translated as "day" in the above verse is "hemera".  This is an ambiguous word whose definition is determined by it's context.  In 3 other passages in the KJV it is translated as "time" (in 12 verses in the NASB). So if the Lord had meant for a "time" to be as a thousand years: 2-1/2 "times" =  2500 years. 

Then 2500 - 533 = 1967 The Year Israel took control of Jerusalem from the Gentiles 

There is a 2-3 year leeway in Babylonian period historical dating, rendering "zero year" discussion unimportant.  Might the Lord have allowed for the calculation to be the most simple? * Source

Hungary Passes 'Stop Soros' Law Criminalizing Aid to Migrants
6-20-18, New York Times -- Hungary’s parliament has passed a law that could see anyone helping illegal migrants claim asylum in the country imprisoned. The ‘Stop Soros’ law is named after Hungarian-born billionaire and open-borders advocate, George Soros.  Under the law, individuals who aid migrants, informing them about the asylum procedure or “providing financial or property benefit” will be liable for a 12-month prison sentence.

6-20-18, Rob Waugh did a study finding that climate change deniers tend to be old, [educated people] white and racist [of course they're also racist!].

Researcher Mr Salil Benegal at DePauw University in Connecticut analyzed data from American National Election Studies finding that American voters with the highest levels of racial [or illegal migrant invaders?] resentment were far more likely to dispute the idea of man-made climate change.  The deniers tend to be [educated] Republicans with scores of 84% likely to disagree with man-made climate change. More here

6-20-18, Liberal anti Trump media claiming the illegal migrant children being treated like in Nazi concentration camps. In 2014 same detention centers were used - I don't remember anyone calling Obama's camps like Nazi Germany ... do you?

 Democratic politicians, journalists and top staffers from Obama’s White House whipped themselves into a frenzy Sunday, 6-17-18 attributing “disturbing” photos of  illegal migrant children sleeping inside enclosed chain link cages.  Speechwriter Jon Favreau tweeted urging followers to “look at these pictures,” adding that the forcing the Trump administration to return the children to their parents was the “only debate that matters” right now. Favreau, later deleted the tweet, admitted the photos were taken under Obama's watch. More here

6-20-18, The pictures follow a controversy over the current Justice Dept’s zero-tolerance policy of separating parents and children when they cross the border illegally. Attorney Genl Jeff Sessions said:

“If you cross the border unlawfully, then we will prosecute you. It’s that simple. If you are smuggling a child, then we will prosecute you. And that child may be separated from you, as required by law.”

Trump fired back on Saturday, suggesting the “horrible law” isn’t new and urged Democrats to support its repeal:

“Put pressure on the Democrats to end the horrible law that separates children from parents once they cross the Border into the U.S.”  More here

Where's the responsibility of the parents who put their own children in this despicable situation. They are the guilty parties; not US authorities enforcing laws; any adult American citizen or illegal migrant who is taken into custody ... the kids don't go to jail with them! This hysteria is ridiculous.

1-24-17, The US State Dept announced the first arms sales Trump approved various munitions and equipment to four countries, including Saudi Arabia. Obama had $100 billion in over 40 different arms sales to Saudi Arabia, more than any other administration in history; apparently Pres Trump will continue the practice.
