8-10-18, Do people truly have a choice in what sex [aka gender] they are? God's teachings tell us it isn't and for some very important reasons that will help you understand His plan for human kind.
The Political Correctness Police, starting with the perpetually victimized GLAAD (the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) now attacking traditional God honoring people who reject homosexuality as normal. Why is something that is so obviously wrong being forced upon society by a small minority [4%*] of deviant individuals?
If you think about it in light of the Bible, the answer becomes clear.
In Genesis it states, “So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them” (Genesis 1:27). This is repeated in Genesis 5:2 and the Lord Jesus Christ also defined marriage as between man and woman (Mark 10:6). So it becomes obvious that to deny one’s gender as being either male or female is to deny the Creator and the Creation.
If people deny that God exists and His word is truth, then they claim there are no rules, and that a person can feel free to pick their sex now called 'gender.'
This is not new; the Apostle Paul encountered in his day:
“For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made … because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. ... Pennsylvania City Bans Bible Study in Private Home of Scott and Terri Fetterolf - they sue!
Their federal lawsuit seeks a permanent injunction prohibiting the city of Sewickley Heights PA from violating their civil rights. The government should not target religious activities for punishment, particularly when similar secular activities are permitted. The religious events on the property aren’t the “principal use” of the property, which is a working farm.

Jul 19, 2018 - The owners of a historic farm in Sewickley Heights, Scott and Terri Fetterolf have been in a quiet, but lengthy [Since Oct 2017] battle over whether they're allowed to host Bible studies in their private home.
The Harrisburg-based Independence Law Center filed a federal lawsuit Wednesday on behalf of Scott and Theresa Fetterolf alleging the borough’s attempts to keep them from using their farm for religious purposes violates their civil rights.
“The borough has no business overseeing a group of people reading and discussing a book together on private property — even if that book is the Bible,” Randall Wenger, chief counsel for the Independence Law Center, said in a statement.
The lawsuit said the 32-acre property has been used for such events by its prior owner “for many decades.” According to her 2012 obituary, the previous owner, Nancy Doyle Chalfant, one of the founders of the nonprofit Verland, “opened her home, and her beloved Dundee Farm, to church retreats, seminary picnics, youth groups and many other organizations she supported."
The Fetterolfs attended church with Chalfant and bought her property in 2003. The Fetterolfs bought the property carrying on the traditions started by Nancy Chalfant. They did so without incident until Oct. 5, 2017, when the borough served a notice of violation and cease and desist order on the Fetterolfs. It said that activities including a Bible study, worship night, religious retreats and fundraisers were not permitted in the borough’s historical rural and residential zone without a variance.
The Fetterolfs appealed to the borough’s zoning hearing board. Several meetings have been held since January, but the matter remains unresolved. More here

For centuries, the Kachin people in Burma numbering about 1,600,000, lived in relative peace in the northern Burma [aka Myanmar] mountains near the border with China. After Myanmar gained independence from the British in 1948, they were promised equality and self determination. However, conflict broke out after the Burma Military seized control in 1962 and the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) was formed to defend Kachin land. Emotions and prejudices are so intense that it is hard to imagine that even if Burma were to find some accelerated path into a full democracy a peaceful and equitable solution to the Rohingya problem could be found. When he appeared to the Virgin Mary, the angel Gabriel told her that her Son would inherit, "the throne of his father David" (Luke 1:32-33) and that he would "reign over the house of Jacob forever; and of His kingdom there shall be no end" (Luke 1:32-33). Jesus of Nazareth, Son of Mary, is Shiloh, "...and unto Him shall the gathering of the people be" (Genesis 49:10). The "gathering of the people" means much more than the simple notion that this man Jesus will one day come to rule and reign in just Israel. The term "people" is in the plural; it's prophesying a time and a rule that extends far beyond the Davidic Empire, instead foreseeing an eternal and all-encompassing rule by Shiloh over all of the earth and the peoples in it.
The imminent belief in Messiah's return is just as important to modern Christian belief as it is to Judaism. Jesus encouraged His disciples to long for His return, telling them that He would certainly come again:
"I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also" (John 14:2-3).
Jesus commands us in Luke 21:36, "Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man."
A warning and encouragement to the unbelieving world and the church concerning the sudden nature of the coming of Jesus Christ for His Bride in Revelation 16:15. The suddenness with which Christ will come will leave no room for escape, or for making any arrangements. When He does suddenly come, it'll be one of judgment for His followers and some will be put to shame: "...Blessed is the one who stays awake and remains clothed, so as not to go naked and be shamefully exposed" (Rev 16:15).

In an atrociously brutal piece, he called Vice President Mike Pence a “holy terror,” claiming he’s multiple degrees more sinister than President Trump, the otherwise most sinister person on the planet. Bruni actually warns the best case against impeaching Trump is the much greater danger of Pence.
Think about that a moment. For all the venom and apocalyptic hysteria being spewed at everything President Trump has ever said and done — and there is plenty; there is someone even “worse” than this president. Bruni makes Chicken Little seem measured.
Bruni describes VP Pence as “self-infatuated,” "bigot,” “liar,” “cruel” and the VP's most damning sin is that he’s a Christian who actually believes what Christians actually believe. Bruni adds that Pence is a greater threat to the universe than Trump because he holds, “…the conviction that he’s on a mission from God and a determination to mold the entire nation in the shape of his own faith, a regressive, repressive version of Christianity.”
Bruni fails to see — as do most of his peers — that it is precisely this kind of elitist bigotry that fueled Trump’s ascendancy. Publicly pronounced hatred of Evangelicals, faithful Catholics and white men are the only allowable bigotries, and that prejudice seems to be demonstrated with greater nastiness with each passing day.
Pence is really no different than your run-of-the-mill evangelical Christians [those who believe the Bible and share God's good news], like millions of Americans. He believes that God governs the affairs of men, that prayer is effectual and worth doing, that marriage and family are best when built upon a married mother and father, that life is sacred and abortion destroys life, and that God appoints our government’s leaders, even those who are hostile to Him.

✝️ 6-17-20, Many people have the misconception that the Lord's TEN COMMANDMENTS are just suggestions since Jesus came and we're now under the NEW COVENANT. Well, Jesus repeated them in Matthew 19:18-19.
