10-7-18, (Natural News) If you’ve heard that high doses of vitamin C can kill cancer, there’s a good chance you’ve also heard some official-sounding organizations claiming that there is no science to back this up. However, new research shows that high doses of vitamin C can indeed fight cancer, underscoring the findings of countless other studies like it that are widely ignored by the medical industry.

Detractors choose to focus on those studies that showed it didn’t work, conveniently ignoring the fact that many of the studies that were inconclusive in this regard simply weren’t testing big enough doses to unlock its effectiveness. The following studies wouldn’t be surprising to the researchers who worked on a review that was published in the Puerto Rico Health Sciences Journal [PRHSJ] in 2008. :

1. at the University of Iowa confirms that vitamin C does kill cancer cells selectively without damaging normal cells. One study showed that the vitamins can reduce mutations that cause cancer in mice, while another study showed it can kill as much as 50 percent of human lymphoma cells.
2. the Perlmutter Cancer Center, found that injecting mice with high doses of vitamin C stopped leukemia cancer stem cells from humans from growing, probably by telling the faulty stem cells in bone marrow to die.
3. A different study found that adding vitamin C via IV to typical chemotherapy drugs extended the average survival times of pancreatic cancer patients from 5.65 months to 12 months.
4. the University of Kansas study that injected high doses of vitamin C into ovarian cells from humans. They found that the vitamin targeted the ovarian cancer cells without harming healthy cells, and they went on to repeat the study on mice and human subjects.

After looking at studies that used extremely higher amounts of vitamin C intravenously, the PRHSJ concluded that it can be effective against tumors, although they said that its efficacy could not be judged when it was administered orally. At the time, even though the authors called for further research into vitamin C’s cancer-fighting power, nothing was done about it. After all, chemotherapy has been so profitable for the medical and pharmaceutical industries, and it would be hard to profit off of something as cheap, widely available, and unpatentable as vitamin C.

More good news:
IV may not be the only way to deliver high doses of vitamin C
Some people have been getting these treatments on their own at alternative cancer clinics, but it’s not widely accepted. In addition, those who are wary of IVs find it extremely difficult to get the high blood concentration needed for this treatment to work its magic when they take it orally. There is a new form of vitamin C that could change everything.

Liposomal vitamin C can create vitamin C levels in the blood that are 100 to 500 times greater than those normally achieved by oral ingestion, making it easier for people to fight cancer. It is encapsulated in lecithin, which shields it from digestive enzymes that would normally break it down making its way through the digestive system with ease and is absorbed by the intestines before being transported into the liver, where it is released into the bloodstream.
This approach does away with the waste and gastric upset seen with conventional vitamin C tablets while maintaining high blood concentrations. Whether it will one day make its way into the mainstream and give riskier treatments like chemotherapy a run for their money remains to be seen, however. ​More here

According to the Institute for Digital Archaeology the traveling arch has been been displayed at various locations around the world including New York City, London, and Dubai. However, some are calling the structure the "Arch of Baal," saying it is a spiritual significance. It was assembled and unveiled across from the US Capitol the day before Christine Blasey Ford and Brett Kavanaugh testified before a Senate committee. ​According to the website Breaking Israel News, in order to go to the Temple of Baal in Palmyra, a pagan would have had to walk under the arch on the way in and walk under it again on the way out.  The original arch was destroyed by ISIS fighters in October of 2015.

10-6-18, From Archives of Oswald Chambers 'Utmost' -- If Jesus Christ is going to regenerate me, what is the problem He faces? It is simply this— I have a heredity in which I had no say or decision; I am not holy, nor am I likely to be; and if all Jesus Christ can do is tell me that I must be holy, His teaching only causes me to despair.

However, if Jesus Christ is truly a regenerator, someone who can put His own heredity of holiness into me, then I can begin to see what He means when He says that I have to be holy. Redemption means that Jesus Christ can put into anyone the hereditary nature that was in Himself, and all the standards He gives us are based on that nature— His teaching is meant to be applied to the life which He puts within us.

​The proper action on my part is simply to agree with God’s verdict on sin as judged on the Cross of Christ.

The New Testament teaching about regeneration is that when a person is hit by his own sense of need, God will put the Holy Spirit into his spirit, and his personal spirit will be energized by the Spirit of the Son of God— “…until Christ is formed in you” (Galatians 4:19).

The moral miracle of redemption is that God can put a new nature into me through which I can live a totally new life (born again John 3:3,7). When I finally reach the edge of my need and know my own limitations, then Jesus says, “Blessed are you…” (Matthew 5:11).  However, first I must get to that point. God cannot put into me, the responsible moral person that I am, the nature that was in Jesus Christ unless I am aware of my need for it.

Just as the nature of sin entered into the human race through one man, the Holy Spirit entered into the human race through another Man (Romans 5:12-19). Redemption means that I can be delivered from the heredity of sin and through Jesus Christ I can receive a pure and spotless heredity, namely, the Holy Spirit. Source

5-5-1991, * -- On January 9, 1985, Pastor Hristo Kulichev, a Congregational pastor in Bulgaria, was arrested and put in prison. His crime was that he preached in his church even though the state had appointed another man the pastor whom the congregation did not elect. His trial was a mockery of justice. And he was sentenced to eight months imprisonment. During his time in prison he made Christ known every way he could. When he got out he wrote, "Both prisoners and jailers asked many questions, and it turned out that we had a more fruitful ministry there than we could have expected in church. God was better served by our presence in prison than if we had been free."[1]
 
We see in Acts 8:1–8 that God rules over the sufferings & persecution of the Lord’s born again church and causes them to spread spiritual power and the joy of faith in a lost world. It’s not His only way … but it does seem to be a frequent way. To confirm this missionary purpose of the persecution, look at Acts 11:19. "Now those who were scattered because of the persecution that arose over Stephen (Acts 7:55)he was stoned to death – the first martyr]  traveled as far as Phoenicia and Cyprus and Antioch, speaking the word to none except Jews." In Antioch some spoke also to Greeks [Gentiles] the persecution not only sent the church to Judea and Samaria but beyond (Acts 11:19).
 
From Jesus' parable of the four soils, that some fall away during persecution because they have no root. However, it’s apparently true that even more people are like the third soil—"the cares of the world, and the delight in riches, and the desire for other things enter in and choke the word and it proves unfruitful." (Mark 4:19)
 
Persecution can have harmful effects on the church; but prosperity, it seems, is even more devastating to the mission God has called us. My point here is not that we should seek persecution; but be very wary of prosperity and excessive ease, comfort and affluence. If persecuted, we should not be disheartened as God often makes persecution of the righteous serve the mission of the church. (Matthew 5:10)
 
Conclusion: If you have Christ, know Him and trust Him, then no matter how severe the persecution, no matter how great the suffering of life, you have hope and you have joy. "There was much joy in that city" because Philip preached Christ. (Acts 8:8; Saul persecuted the Church Acts 8:1-3; Stephen stoned Acts 7:55)

10-5-18, The United Nations agency UNRWA was founded in 1949 to provide aid to Arab refugees from Israel’s War of Independence. Still operational today, UNRWA provides funding and resources to tens of thousands of Muslim refugees, but also to their 5 million-plus descendants in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Gaza and the Palestinian Authority. Although it has not identified descendants of refugees as refugees in any other population dispute worldwide.Israel has argued that UNRWA perpetuates the problem of Palestinian “refugees” by discouraging their absorption in other countries, as well as inflating their numbers.

Barkat said the new U.S. policy cutting $300 million to the controversial organization inspired the move, which will see unlicensed UNRWA-run schools, medical centers and sports facilities transferred to Israeli authorities. He said:

“The U.S. decision has created a rare opportunity to replace UNRWA’s services with services of the Jerusalem Municipality. We are putting an end to the lie of the ‘Palestinian refugee problem’ and the attempts at creating a false sovereignty within a sovereignty.”

For those who have visited the lowest point on the face of the earth, Ezekiel’s end-of-days prophecy of the Dead Sea coming to life seems impossible, yet recently, scientists have been shocked to discover that the sinkholes appearing around the sea are quickly filling up with fish and other forms of life previously unseen in the inhospitable region.

Known as the Dead Sea in English because of its hypersaline [salt] environment (37% salinity – almost ten times saltier than the ocean) and scarcity of aquatic life, Israeli photojournalist Noam Bedein of the Dead Sea Revival Project says that the term Dead Sea – “a political term used mostly by the Romans” – is a misnomer. The Dead Sea is “anything but dead,” he said, calling it the “eighth wonder of the world.”

According to the Bible, the landscape changed with the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, which turned the valley into a wasteland. The Bible also describes the area as fertile and well-watered in its narrative of Lot looking out onto the valley where the Dead Sea currently is:

"And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of the Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere, before Hashem destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, like the garden of Hashem." (Genesis 13:10)

“A place that was once cursed in Biblical times, now you can come here to the Dead Sea, explore the sinkholes and see fish where the water has receded – fulfilling prophecies from Ezekiel who talked about the land flourishing and blooming when the Jews return,” said Bedein.

Indeed, Biblical prophecy also holds that water will flow east from Jerusalem into the Dead Sea, filling it up with fish and the surrounding desert with life:

“Then said he unto me: ‘These waters issue forth toward the eastern region and shall go down into the Arabah; and when they shall enter into the sea into the sea of the putrid waters the waters shall be healed. And it shall come to pass that every living creature wherewith it swarmeth whithersoever the rivers shall come shall live; and there shall be a very great multitude of fish; for these waters are come thither that all things be healed and may live whithersoever the river cometh.” (Ezekiel 47:8-9)

10-4-18, Florence, So Carolina USA -- Seven law enforcement officers were shot, Terrence Carraway, 52, a 30-year veteran of the department was killed by 74 yr old Frederick Hopkins. A 20-year-old man inside the home was wounded.

Hopkins is a disabled veteran who barricaded himself in his home with children and fired on officers serving a search warrant; the two-hour firefight ended with the suspect's surrender.

Hopkins, a disbarred lawyer, has faced a string of minor charges since an arrest in 2014 for disorderly conduct. Kirby said the officers arrived at the home around 4 p.m. Wednesday to serve a warrant involving a 27-year-old person at the home who was accused of sexually assaulting a foster child. Numbers 33:53

10-3-18, In the Old Testament's Numbers 33:53 we learn of God's command "to settle and inhabit the Land" of Israel emphasizing the importance of living in the land. As Deuteronomy draws to a close, the Children of Israel are on the verge of entering the Promised Land and fulfilling these words. They would remain in the land for hundreds of years, but sin and transgression eventually led to their exile.

For centuries, the Jewish people yearned to return and resettle their land and some individuals were able to fulfill these dreams and then the world's recognition of the State of Israel in 1948. In the Holy Bible, Old and New we find 170 verses where God promised the land of Israel to the Jews; here are just four:

• The Lord appeared to Abram and said, “To your seed I will give this land.” [Genesis 12:7]
• “All the land that you see I will give to you and your seed forever.” [Genesis 13:15]
• “I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them,” says the Lord your God." [Amos 9:15]
• “... He overthrew seven nations in Canaan and gave their land to His people as their inheritance.” [Acts 13:19]

Today, there are approximately six million Jews and two million others who reside in Eretz Yisrael (the Land of Israel). Praise the Lord God almighty!

U.S. National Security Adviser John Bolton told the White House press corps at a briefing in Washington DC on Wednesday (Oct. 3) that the "so-called state of Palestine" is not, in fact, a state.
​The US is withdrawing from the "optional protocol" in the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, John Bolton has confirmed. He said it follows a case brought by Palestine, challenging the US embassy's move to Jerusalem. US National Security Adviser, John Bolton said:
"I am announcing that the president has decided that the United States will withdraw from the optional protocol and dispute resolution to the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. This is in connection with a case brought by the so-called state of 'Palestine,' naming the United States as the defendant, challenging our move of our embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
"It’s not a state now. It does not meet the customary international [law] test of statehood. It doesn’t control defined boundaries. It doesn’t fulfill the normal functions of government. There are a whole host of reasons why it’s not a state.
“It could become a state – as President Trump has said – but that requires diplomatic negotiations with Israel and others. So, calling it the so-called state of Palestine defines exactly what it has been, a position that the United States government has pursued uniformly since 1988 when the Palestinian Authority declared itself to be the state of Palestine.
