2023: Americans Have Become Hungrier, Lonelier and More Desperate
Suicide Rates Greatly Increased in 2023

12-25-23, * -- Today in the USA the ominous trends are taking us where no one want’s to go; 2023 was not a good year for America. Hunger, homelessness and the suicide rate [1] just continues to increase and almost nightly we see chaos in the streets. And I expect 2024 election season to add additional strain to our society, and I don’t think that our society will be able to handle it. When conditions deteriorate, it is often those at the bottom of the economic food chain that feel it first. Food bank leaders from all corners of the country report that their neighborhood pantries are serving more people while having less resources, as economic pressures continue to ravage the budgets of low-income Americans and service providers alike. One out of every five children in the U.S. are going hungry. Meanwhile, homelessness in the U.S. is increasing at the fastest rate ever recorded. USA experienced a dramatic 12 percent increase in homelessness as soaring rents. Reported in January 2023 approximately 653,000 people are homeless. That’s the highest number since the country began keeping records in 2007.

Retail theft has absolutely skyrocketed in many of our largest cities since 2019; with many retail outlets just closing. Crime-ridden New York City has seen the biggest impact with a 64 percent increase in retail theft, followed by Los Angeles with a 61 percent jump and Virginia Beach, Virginia, which has seen a 44 percent rise. The vast hordes of illegal migrants constantly being added to the mix only makes things worse.

Ole Joe Biden criticized news coverage ... but we have reached a stage where all of the charades are finally crumbling. So brace yourself for what is ahead, because we are going to experience so much chaos during the year that is in front of us.
According to USA Today, “Americans are lonely and it’s killing them”, and at this point things are so bad that this crisis is being called “a new epidemic.” Loneliness has far greater implications for our health when we struggle with a sense of social disconnection or isolated. It’s especially bad during the Christmas holidays when you don’t have anyone to lean on for support. [Note: that’s where God comes in - but the liberal Leftist God hating leaders have removed God from the schools and dialog.]

[1] USA Today Suicides: An estimated 49,449 people died by suicide in 2022, the CDC said; an increase of 2.6% over the 48,183 suicide deaths in 2021. The number of suicides for males in 2022 was 2% higher than the 38,358 deaths in 2021. For females, the 2022 number rose 4% from 9,825 deaths in 2021.
