10-13-22, The Lord God spoke to the Prophet Isaiah about things to come [Isaiah 41:23]; no more is needed to show the folly of sin than to bring notice to the reasons given in defense of it. Let the advocates of other doctrines than that of salvation through Christ, bring their arguments. Can they tell of a cure for human depravity? Jehovah has power which cannot be withstood; the certain knowledge of the future must be only with the Lord, who fulfills His own plans. Outside the Holy Bible all prophecies have been uncertain. In the work of redemption, the Lord Jesus showed Himself the Deliverer Who is raised up for us and is the only Power and Redeemer. Praise His holy name! Isaiah 41:4, 10-16, 29; Psalm 30:4, 97:12
