Obey God, Stay Away from the Wicked
10-22-21, Although the temptation to compromise & disobey the Lord’s commands threatens every believer, we must not follow the wicked. God said, The upright shall dwell in the land and remain in it; but the wicked shall be cut off from the earth and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it. Proverbs 2:1, 11, 19-22 Many Christians have friends that claim to be believers and often pressure us to participate in something that we know is forbidden by God; we are tempted to go along because we don't want to be a rejected outcast. Sadly some Christians have fallen into sexual immorality or greed without the enticement of family or friends ignoring the warning of the Spirit. We have a conscience - inner voice that’s always on the alert to keep us from evil. We must immediately obey the warning and be willing to stand alone facing ridicule or even persecution. 2 Tim. 3:12), Proverbs 16:17; Psalm 121:7; Joel 2:28; 2 Corinthians 10:4; Philippians 4:6-7 Comments are closed.
