9-26-23, Scripture for Today: History and scripture reports of God’s temple in Jerusalem. It was first built in the 10th Century BC by King Solomon 480 years after the Jews were released from Egyptian slavery. It was destroyed twice: first in 587 BC by the Babylonians - rebuilt - then destroyed in 70 A.D. by the Romans.
Temple destroyed by Chaldeans Babylonians: 587 BC and the Second time by Romans in 70 A.D. but left portion of western wall.
