Although Range to Israel from Tehran is 1100 miles - Lebanon's Islamic Terror Group Hezbollah Has The Fateh-110 Ballistic Missiles and they're only 147 miles from Jerusalem
3-6-17, Times of Israel -- Iran launched two ballistic short range missiles March 4-5, 2017 one hit it's barge target successfully. The other did not. The first launch came on the same day that a US vessel, the USNS Invisible, in the Strait of Hormuz was forced to change course after being harassed by Iranian fast boats in the strategic waterway.
The Invisible — is a tracking ship, designed to track ballistic missile launches. It was not immediately clear if the ship was purposefully targeted by the Iranian vessels in connection to the ballistic missile tests.
Iran fired a medium-range ballistic missile in February 2017, apparent violating a U.N. Security Council Resolution.
President Trump responded with his first economic sanctions, placing 13 people and 12 businesses on a list prohibiting Americans from dealing with them. President Trump tweeted:
“Iran is playing with fire — they don’t appreciate how ‘kind’ President Obama was to them. Not me!”
On Monday, 3-6-17 President Trump called Israeli PM Netanyahu discussing the dangers posed by the nuclear deal with Iran and Iran’s recent malevolent behavior. Israel released a statement saying they agreed to work together to counter the Iran threat.
