Breaking: Libs Hysteria US Troops & Syria

10-7-19, On Tucker Carlson, Fox News tonight, guest retired Army Colonel Douglas MacGregor and author of 'MARGIN OF VICTORY' explained that Pres Trump is correct in pulling our troops out of Syria. The Iranians, Russians, Turks are checkmated by Pres Trump's strategy. Let them fight their own battles for a change. The media & Washington meltdown is ridiculous. Transcript follows:

Col MacGregor was asked:
'Colonel what do make of the President's announcement about Syria?'
Answer: "The 'swamp' is clearly very disturbed; because the president has done something I have not witnessed in the last 30 years. He's actually injecting strategy back into foreign defense policy. Let me explain: 'He's turned to Erdogan [president of Turkey] who's been trying to carve out a portion of Syria now for a very long time. Erdogan is also partially responsible for standing up ISIS then ISIS turned out to be a 'Frankenstein' monster and he decided needed to be brought under control. Now he wants to resettle Sunni Arab refugees in North Western Syria, create a kinda security zone for Turkish interests. But he's [Trump] also simultaneously told Pres Erdogan you can do this but now YOU are responsible for dealing with ISIS. If ISIS rears it's head if it comes back it's YOUR problem. This is a very important point; Pres Trump has shifted the burden of responsibilty for something that is clearly regional clearly goes back to Turkey back to Mr Erdogan. At the same time Russia has promised to maintain the territorial integrity of Syria come what may. ... Then we have Iran; Iran wants to maintain it's activity to Lebanon and Shiite allies in that country. With Turkey dominating the Northern area of Syria, Iran will be unable or find it far more difficult to connect with Lebanon.

"The point is Pres Trump has check mated all the key players in the region in Syria. They must confront each other for a change."

Tucker interupted and asked about today's hysteria from the libs about the Kurds. "What about them? It's reported they are allies who helped us take down ISIS."

MacGregor response: "Before America arrived in Syria the Maoist Communist Kurds in Syria had a long history and relationship with Moscow as a result. Who is always interested in aligning themselves with anyone who will further their cause that involves independence for themselves in Syria and attacks against the Turks who they regard as enemies. In our absence the Kurds now will have to make a decision. Do we make a peace with Damascus Syria? Which is what the Russians have told them to do. Which is what the US has privately told them to do. Which is what the Syrian government would like them to do. OR do the Kurds decide to take on the Turks independently?

"I rather think the Kurds will decide that it's probably in their interests to side with Damascus. So once the US pulls out we should see that happen.

"Here's something else .... ISRAEL BENEFITS FROM THIS. Because Iran is now at loggerheads with Turkey! [Bible Daniel 8:5-7] Iran is interested in connecting with [Islamic terror group] Hezbollah in Lebanon. Russia has no interest in turning Syria into a platform for attacks against Israel.

Candidate Trump was clear in his goal to pull US troops out of foreign wars. This move is three years late in my opinion. Let the Muslims fight their own battles. I also think this is a preamble to the Turks and Iran prophecy. [Daniel 8:5-7 ]
