Humboldt Broncos Jr Hockey Team Bus Hit By Semi Truck 14 Deaths

4-7-18, Fourteen people were killed Friday, 4-6-18 when the bus they were in — carrying the Humboldt Broncos junior hockey team [ages 16-21] — was hit by a semi truck trailer unit north of Tisdale. President of the Hawks team, Darren Opp said, 'the semi tee boned the bus.'

The team was on way to compete in game 5 of the playoffs with the Hawks in Saskatchewan Canada.
Fourteen others on the bus were injured, three critically. The identity of the victims including whether the deceased are players or coaches has not been released. There was no immediate word on the driver of the semi truck. More here
