New York Muslim Taxi Drivers Take Off for Islamic Holiday
Sep 14, 2016, NYTimes -- When Nilay Patel left his office at 9:30 pm on Monday evening, he looked around for a cab in Midtown Manhattan, but there was not a hint of yellow in any direction - it was a Muslim holiday. Muslims from many countries make up as much as one-third of New York City’s taxi drivers. New York City’s Taxi and Limousine Commission said they have appx 150,000 drivers and the Muslim countries of Bangladesh has the largest share of medallion drivers (24 percent) and Pakistan (10 percent).
Would Hillary Clinton have become Senator of New York [never lived there] if her husband was not President of the United States? Not likely, with her personality and training ... she would have ended up a lawyer in Arkansas.
