7-25-18, Fox News -- President has secured major trade concessions from European Union. At a joint Rose Garden appearance Jean-Claude Juncker and the EU delegation agreed to increase imports of soybeans and liquefied natural gas. Both sides agreed to work toward the goal of "zero" tariffs and subsidies on non-auto industrial goods working to "resolve" recent tariffs that both sides have imposed.

Trump and EU leader agree to work toward eliminating tariffs
For President Trump, the victory is greater than even he imagined it might be.
On Jul 25, 2018 a truce was declared regarding tariffs between the United States and the European Union [EU]. They agreed to the right of all nations to free and fair trade. Pres Trump has been arguing that tariffs are merely a tactic in his goal for reciprocal trade agreements. The trading partners have been taking unfair advantage of America and his goal is a freer, fairer trade that will benefit American workers, farmers and businesses. More here Weekly Standard
