CNN Suggests Joe Biden Could 'Step Aside' for Kamala Harris
8-12-20, Breitbart -- CNN editor-at-large Mr. Chris Cilizza said that former Vice President Joe Biden would “step aside” to elevate his new running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), all but conceding that Biden will not finish his presidential term, if elected. Also, CNN’s Brian Stelter, argued that it was “offensive and otherworldly” for conservatives to argue that Biden was too old and unhealthy to compete or to serve in office. Yet, Biden’s awkwardly worded announcement of his running mate suggested Harris might be expected “to lead this nation starting in January 2021.”

9-15-20, FoxNews -- Democrat Senator from California Ms Kamala Harris, Joe Biden's running mate in the 2020 election, raised eyebrows recently after she accidentally touted economic plans under a "Harris Biden Admin.... she tried to correct herself saying: "A Harris administration, together with Joe Biden as the president of the United States. The Biden-Harris administration will provide access to $100 billion in low-interest loans and investments from minority business owners."

A 2017 clip from Ms Barrett’s nomination hearing for the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals in Illinois where Senator Feinstein raised concerns over Barrett's devout Catholic faith has resurfaced. According to the Indianapolis Star at the hearing California Democrat Dianne Feinstein [Senator since 1992] told the 48-year-old Amy Coney Barrett - when asked if her faith would interfere with her rulings on the court; Ms Barrett claimed that she would be able to keep her professional and religious beliefs separate." Feinstein said: “I think in your case, professor, when you read your speeches, the conclusion one draws is that the dogma lives loudly within you." ​

History Is on the Side of Republicans Filling a Supreme Court Seat During Election Year
8-7-20, Dan McLaughlin, National Review-- If a Supreme Court vacancy opens up between now and the end of the year, Republicans should fill it. Given it would be political suicide for Republicans to refrain from filling a vacancy; there is no law or no norm opposing it. Historically, only opposing parties of the Senate and White House have chosen not to vote on a vacancy such as with Obama in 2016. There is no chance that the Democrats, in the same position, would ever reciprocate, as their own history illustrates.
