How The House Could Decide The Presidential Election
And Its Democrat Majority Doesn’t Matter

9-28-20, Forbes.com – A 269-269 Electoral College tie or other dispute that prevents the determination of a clear winner of the presidential election would result in a contingent election, in which it would be decided by the House of Representatives. As prescribed by relevant provisions outlined in the 12th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. The vice presidential race is decided by the Senate as also stipulated by the 12th Amendments.

While each senator gets one vote for the vice president, the House vote is determined by state delegation rather than individual lawmakers =>

—so each state, from Alaska’s one delegate to Texas’ 36 delegates, all only get one vote [September 2020 before election]:

26 states have a GOP majority,
22 states have a Democrat majority

The House vote would not be decided by the House as it currently exists, but by the lawmakers lawfully elected November 3, 2020. House lawmakers will be sworn in on January 3, 2021 and Congress will convene to count electoral votes January 6, 2021.
