 Arkansas USA: Ten Year Old Boy Max Huseby Granted His Dying Wish, "I want to go to church!" 4-30-19, Max Huseby of Hot Springs, Arkansas, has barely left the confines of his CHILDREN'S hospital since March 2018. Thanks to his supportive church community and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the 10-year-old, who is fighting a rare form of leukemia, was granted his dying wish of attending his family 'ONE REFUGE CHURCH' in Hot Springs, Arkansas one last time. Make-A-Wish also provided Max with an Xbox and a big party with cake, gifts and dozens of first responders and community members joined him. His parents Mark and Monique Huseby said what a blessing it was to see Max commune with fellow believers after a grueling 13 months of relative isolation; “His stay was supposed to short-term, but a complication with chemotherapy kept him requiring round-the-clock care. We're overwhelmed … just absolutely filled with joy to see him happy.” Those who attended Wednesday night’s church gathering prayed over Max, thanking God for his mighty witness. Speaking at the fun-filled celebration held in his honor, Max took a moment to address the group of friends, family and fellow congregants; he said: “Thank you for praying for me.” *** Please keep the Huseby family in your prayers. Tears formed in my eyes when I read the story of 10-year old Mark who got his wish granted to attend church. God will surely grant Mark's speedy entrance into His Kingdom of Heaven. Comments are closed.
