America's Dark Days Perfectly Illustrated In the 'War Upon Christianity' As 'Islamic Apologist Leftists' Go Ballistic, Slam President Trump For Taking Bible To Church
Galatians 3:4-5; Romans 8:18–22; John 15:20; Acts 8:1
6-5-20, * -- Recently in the USA liberal leftists are proclaiming righteous indignation because President Trump visited vandalized and boarded-up St. John’s Episcopal Church [aka Anglican Church] in Washington DC. He held up a Bible hoping to give Americans assurance that he would keep his word to stop the ongoing arson, looting, rioting and killings. [Stated reason for the riots? because of the horrific death on May 25, 2020 of George Floyd by a Minneapolis Police Officer Derick Chauvin.] They went ballistic—they said, “how dare he stand in front of a damaged church and use the Bible as a prop.”
The Washington DC diocese bishop is a woman [1 Timothy 2:12] Rev. Mariann Budde who became very indignant in her denunciation of Pres Trump. “…We need moral leadership, and he’s done everything to divide us, and has just used one of the most sacred symbols of the Judeo-Christian tradition.” The Bible is not a “symbol,” but a Book of history and instruction — instructions that Episcopal leaders refuse to follow.
Many Episcopal leaders have stated that they do not believe the Bible is the Word of God, Christ virgin-born, that He died a vicarious death and was victoriously resurrected for all mankind forgiveness of sin. They support abortion as it’s no longer murder, ignore fornication as it’s no longer evil; same-sex marriage is no longer the abomination of homosexuality. [..snip]
In November of 2014 the divorced woman, Rev. Canon Gina Campbell, of the National Cathedral in Wash DC invited Muslims to hold a service in the Cathedral with all images of Christ shrouded from view.
The Islamic message blasphemed the name of the Lord Jesus saying: “God has no son, that Jesus Christ cannot be his son, and that there is no god like Allah.” Abomination! Armed guards prevented Christians from attending although Christine Weick got in and was the lone voice to proclaim the name of Jesus Christ.
Obviously, the teaching of the National Cathedral is the antithesis to Christ and the Bible when it embraces a vile, vicious terrorist group like extremist Islam. This is not the first time this Cathedral invited anti God anti Ten Commandments preachers to their pulpit. In June they had an openly homosexual Episcopal priest Rev. Cameron Partridge in honor of LGBT [homosexual] pride month also homosexual Episcopal Bishop Rev. Gene Robinson presided over the Sunday service. The Cathedral also hosts homosexual marriage ceremonies. Episcopal clergy make up a nest of vipers far more dangerous than rattlesnakes on the floor of a nursery. At least rattlesnakes, by nature, warn potential victims of danger. False prophets do not.
What can you expect of a “church” denomination founded in 1534 AD by England’s lustful and glutinous King Henry VIII who left the Roman Catholic Church because the Pope refused to give him a divorce from Catherine so he could marry Anne Boleyn who he later ordered beheaded. They have no commitment to the authority of the Bible, any reason will do - they treat it as a 'symbol!'
Jesus said: If you love Me obey Me. Why do you call Me Lord and don’t do what I tell you? Whoever has My commandments and keeps them they are those who love Me and will be loved by My Father... We are to be hearers and doers of the Word of God.
