FISA Court Judge Colyer:
The bottom line is without actual legal accountability for the fraud, everything is just a matter of words without consequence. Judge Collyer is angry, but so what… is she going to hold anyone accountable? Thus the frustration outlined by Devin Nunes last weekend. Judicial opinions, strongly worded letters, court orders, insufferable justifications, and government promises of corrective actions are meaningless when real Americans are harmed by gross abuses of power - just ask Carter Page. An Apology To Carter Page
12-16-19, JonathanTurley.org -- The case of Carter Page is far from the first time that the Deep State has violated the law to achieve their objectives and gotten away with it. Former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page has never been given a fair hearing, let alone a trial, to clear his name. As the two political parties spin the results of a report by Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz, one matter remains unaddressed. Someone needs to apologize to Page.
Only two in over 10,000 applications were turned down by the FISA Court.
According to ABC News, 3-4-17: Annually in the USA more than a thousand applications for electronic surveillance, all signed by the attorney general, and the vast majority are approved. Example: from 2009 to 2015, more than 10,700 applications for electronic surveillance were submitted, and only one was denied in its entirety. The wire tapping request of presidential candidate businessman Donald J. Trump's offices is very troubling as the FISA Court turned down President Obama’s Administration’s first request to wire tap his offices that was evidently signed off on by Attorney General Loretta Lynch. With only two applications denied out of 10,700 from 2009 through 2015, the fact that the Obama Administration’s application was denied by the FISA Court is very disturbing. The odds of this happening were 0.02% . More here from Gateway Pundit
Devin Nunes had it right on Sunday…. shut down the FISA court!
12-15-19, ConservativeTreeHouse.com -- I think Devin Nunez is brave, and afraid, but goes forward in spite of well founded fear. ... until such time as the FBI cures their ailment, the FISA desk is shut down indefinitely on the grounds of fraudulent behavior by a still-operating organization that has not changed course or personnel.
