Mississippi: Two Nuns Stabbed to Death in Their Home

8-25-16, NBC News -- Catholic Nuns, Sister Margaret Held and Sister Paula Merrill, both 68, were found dead by stabbing in their home in the rural town of Durant. Their bodies were discovered when they didn't arrive for work at the Lexington Medical Clinic where they were nurses caring for people who couldn't afford medical care, Their missing car was found Thursday night about a mile away. I was trying to imagine the event with the two women being attacked ... not sure what time it happened if they were in bed asleep when he broke into their home ... BUT what IF ... they would have fought back? Because they were women serving God and lived such a good life they weren't prepared for this.

Those two women could have overpowered this guy ... he only had a knife. And why not?
