One unidentified witch told CNN, “There’s a lot to be offended by by Donald Trump. … His use of the term ‘witch hunt’ is very low on that list of priorities for most witches. But nevertheless, it does demonstrate his ignorance, as usual.” Plenty of observers, though, are amused by the controversy. As one person tweeted: “I guess he will have to start referring to it as a Wild Goose chase, but then, that might offend geese.” So stupid.

Here’s Jeanne Moos,” CNN host Kate Bolduan declared before cutting to a report by Ms. Moos on “OutFront.” Ridiculous.
