Philadelphia Police Fatally Shoot Knife Wielding Black Walter Wallace
10-29-20, NYTimes -- The Philadelphia police on Monday 10/26/20 fatally shot 27-year-old knife wielding black man, Walter Wallace, Jr. Violent rioting and looting ensued. Police said the officers fired “several times and after the man was shot, he fell to the ground. One of the officers drove him to the hospital where he died."

Two officers confronted Walter Wallace Jr., a 27-year-old with a history of mental health problems demanding he put down his knife - he did not. A lawyer for the family said that he was experiencing a crisis that day and that the family told officers about it when they arrived at the scene. In a video Mr. Wallace is seen walking into the street in the direction of the officers, who back away and aim their guns at him. Mr. Wallace was ordered to “put the knife down!"

Horrific Rioting, Looting & Destruction in Philadelphia that is now on high alert after authorities discovered a van filled with explosives and other suspicious cargo – including propane tanks, torches and possibly sticks of dynamite. Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney recently announced that an undetermined number of Pennsylvania National Guard troops will begin arriving in Philadelphia on Friday, 10-30-20 to assist police.
