On Nov 11, 2018 Pres Trump is Scheduled to Meet With Other World Leaders in France to Honor & Remember Those Who Fought & Ended WWI
11-5-18, US President Donald Trump has scheduled meetings on November 11, 2018 with France President Macron, Russia's Vladimir Putin and Turkey's Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Paris. Some sixty world leaders will be honoring and celebrating 100 years since the end of the first world war.
However, the mood of Trump’s two bilateral meetings, with the Russian and Turkish presidents, will be colored by the outcome of the US midterm elections on Tuesday, 11-6-18 and a decision, the same day, on whether to slap further US economic sanctions on Russia for using chemical weapons on British soil. The commemorations at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on the Champs-Elysees avenue will be held under tight security following a string of deadly jihadi attacks in France over the past three years.
