5-17-20, Newsweek, Caroline Glick -- I​n the coming months, Israel is expected to apply its civilian law and administration to the 30 percent of Judea and Samaria (or the "West Bank") that President Donald Trump's recently unveiled peace plan anticipates remaining with Israel after a final peace agreement. One might expect that Israel's plan would be hailed for advancing peace and the equal rights of Israelis and Palestinians alike. But the more common response of many so-called experts has been to distort the facts and preemptively condemn Israel. The distortions begin with the very words used to describe Israeli plans. Across platforms, "experts" fret over what they call "Israeli annexation" of Judaea and Samaria [aka West Bank]. The state of Israel has sovereign rights to Judea and Samaria [annexation would be taking land from another nation] because of its declaration of independence May 14, 1948; 72 years ago; together with Britain's surrender of the Mandate it had been granted by the League of Nations to reconstitute the ancient Jewish national home, Israel became the one and only state that acquired sovereignty over all the Mandate's territory.

Mahmoud Abbas, the 84-year-old dictator of the Palestinian Authority has refused to negotiate with the Trump administration, and also Obama administration. However, his predecessor, Yasser Arafat in the 1990-2000s sabotaged peace negotiations during the Bush and Clinton administrations. History and common sense say his successors will do the same thing. [..] The Arab petrocracies are worried enough about Iran that they’re making common cause with Israel. And President Trump is the most pro-Israel president in history. [..]
In the real world, Democrats and Republicans are tired of being asked about the Middle East peace process; it’s burned every president who touched it. European governments cynically never cared about it, but ritually bash Israel to appease their Arab trading partners and domestic Muslim populations.

The Arabs hoped to use the ‘Palestinian’ hoax to destroy Israel, only to realize that they need Israel to take on Iran.
There’s nothing else to wait for except the coming of the messiah...
