Zechariah’s Vision: A Flying ‘Scroll’
Missiles Caring Nuclear Warheads?
God’s angel asked the prophet Zechariah, “What do you see?” He said, “I see a flying scroll; twenty cubits long and ten cubits wide.” The angel then said, “This is the curse that goes out over the face of the whole land. …  and the house of him who swears falsely by My name. And it shall remain in his house and consume it, both timber and stones.”

​9-1-18, In July 2017 Iran successfully tested a rocket that can deliver satellites into orbit, an action the United States said breaches a U.N. Security Council resolution #2231. On 5/14/18, the USA nullified the so called ‘Iran Nuke Deal’ and now the Ayatollah’s are contriving retaliation because of the sanctions and restrictions on their oil sales. In August 2018, Iran’s Leader Khamenei said that if Iran is not allowed to export oil then no country should export oil from the Gulf; Iran has full control of the Gulf and the US Navy does not belong there.

The USA maintains a fleet in the Gulf that protects oil shipping routes. One of Iran’s military leaders said Tehran could take military action in the Gulf to block other countries’ oil exports.  More here
 
[..snip] Pentagon’s Missile Defense Agency representative said that Iran’s 2017 space-launch activities involving multi-stage systems for intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM) are becoming a more realistic threat. Iran has successfully orbited small satellites and announced plans to orbit a larger satellite using the Simorgh space-launch vehicle, which could be configured to carry nuclear warheads [ICBM] although Iran denies it. A very plausible reality is that the ‘flying scroll’ seen by Zechariah in 520 BC was ICBM rockets. (Zechariah 5:1-4) Considering the prophet Zechariah had never seen a rocket, his description is amazingly clear. The fact that his vision said the message was of doom and was a huge 30 ft x 15 ft cylinder [scroll] looking object, I think it was a missile or rocket [although some suggest it was a meteor or comet.] Furthermore, the object ‘scroll’ is used figuratively in Revelation 6:12-17 in the last of the six terror seal judgments:
 
V 14 “the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.”
 
Also, in the book of Ezekiel 2:1-9 he saw a ‘roll’ with mourning written on it. This is just another illustration of figurative language in God word used describing some future thing unknown to the early prophets. Apparently more to unseal the mysteries as proclaimed by God in Daniel 12:8-10 and Revelation 22:10-13.
