Why is There Pain, Suffering and Death in the World? Isn't Almighty God our Loving Father? 1-18-17, Have you ever wondered, “Is that all there is; an endless cycle of eating, sleeping, buying, selling, getting, loving, losing, grow old and then just then die?”   Almighty God is our Father, He loves us, but many ask, 'what kind of father would let his children get hurt, suffer and die? How can anyone watch the evening news and seriously say that the universe is run by a kind, generous and gracious Father?' If He's so powerful and loving, why doesn't He do something about the mess on earth? He HAS Done Something When the world was spinning out of control and as a result of their sin; all His people were lost and dying; He sent His only, Son Jesus Christ to save us. "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." John 3:17 How did the world get into such a mess in the first place? The current world is not as the Creator designed it originally. Creation has fallen because of human sin; God gave us a free will. Mankind has deliberately rebelled, blasphemed and rejected God. Ever since Adam and Eve made the terrible choice in the Garden of Eden, the world has existed in an abnormal state. That's the reason we have hatred, birth defects, broken relationships, disease, disasters and war. It's also the reason God had to send His Son into the world to save us. God offers the free gift of Jesus [Ephesians 2:8-10], the ONLY sinless person Who walked the earth. He is God's needed perfect sacrifice because we are all sinners and unable to save ourselves. Jesus suffered and died in our place; taking the sins of the world for all who repent. He forgives and provides eternal life with Him. Romans 3:23; 6:23 For all have sinned, wages of sin is death. If your heart is restless and you have no peace; if you worry about eternity and where you'll spend it — say yes to Jesus. Join the family. There's no better time than now.
