“In the last days perilous times shall come. Men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”2 Timothy 3:1-7 1-5-16, * -- In the Holy Bible’s Old Testament the Prophet Hosea 4:6 informs us of God’s warning about people perishing for lack of knowledge. Most people are knowledgeable about modern worldly things and events, but not about almighty God’s events. Hopefully you will not be saying: “Why didn’t anyone tell me?” In the New Testament book of 2 Timothy 3:1-3, we see that “in the last days,” things will go from bad to worse. We could compare events in the last days to dominoes that are closely stacked together. Once the first domino goes, the others will fall in rapid succession. I can safely say that we have never been closer to the return of Jesus than we are right now. Things are currently happening that we have never, in human history, seen before. It is a reminder that Christ is coming. Ezekiel 38:2-6 says that a large nation to the north of Israel’s newly established homeland, along with a number of Islamic allies, will invade Israel from every direction. Looking at a map many question that Russia is the force known as Magog, which the Bible says will march against Israel in the last days. No one can say with absolute certainty because the large Islamic nation of Turkey is directly to the north of Israel where Magog resides. In Ezekiel 39:1-2, God says, “Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel.” Initially Obama dismissed the Islamic terror group knows as ISIS as a junior varsity rebel group, however they've proven to be a major player in Islamic terrorism. We have never before faced a terrorist group like ISIS. Sebastian Gorka, an expert on ISIS, works closely with the U.S. Army Special Operations proposes that ISIS is far more dangerous than the Islamic terror group, Al Qaeda. In human history ISIS is the richest Muslim group of its type with enough cash to level 1,600 terrorist acts equivalent to 9/11. He describes their ability to recruit as mind-boggling and wasn't even possible until the last 10 years. The objective of Islamic terrorism is to produce a global caliphate, or Islamic government intending to destroy Israel and all non Muslims aka 'infidels.'
