New Jerusalem Series, #6: Inhabitants The occupants and residents of the New Jerusalem are the Father, King Jesus Christ and there'll be angels at the gates (Revelation 21:12, 22). The population of the city will be the Lord Jesus' redeemed and born again children. Jesus said: "Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again." John 3:7   If you believe that Jesus, was born of the Virgin Mary, is the Son of God, died, rose again and have asked God to forgive your sins saving you by His grace, then you are a citizen of the New Jerusalem.
