 HOW TO BE SAVED AND KNOW IT! "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life [with Jesus], and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." 1 John 5:13  7-21-17, The signs of the times tell us we may be living in the last days as we know it. Our eternal destiny should be a vital concern to all of us. We all have sinned, therefore in our natural state, we are separated from God and without our repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ we are ineligible for Heaven. This applies to the entire human race. God's word educates us as follows:
 There are really only two worldwide 'religions.' One is based on MY works and good deeds the other is trusting in the finished work and shed blood of Jesus Christ to save me. The 'works' religions are all the same whether it be Buddhism, Mormonism, Atheism, Catholicism, Islamism [all the 'isms'] their doctrine involves us DOING SOMETHING to earn salvation. They doom us to Hell. However, in true faith in God alone we know we are just not good enough else why did Jesus Christ die that horrible death on the cross? God requires a blood sacrifice from a perfect sinless entity = none of us qualify so He sent His Son to save us. [Time past God required animal sacrifices to provide a temporary covering of sins and to foreshadow the perfect and complete sacrifice of Jesus Christ (Leviticus 4:35, 5:10).] We all have 'eternal life' and we freely decide where we'll spend it. Rejecting God's son, Jesus, is the only sin that can keep a person out of Heaven. The only alternative to Heaven is eternal torment in the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:15 [9]).  The good news 'Gospel' is that God loves all mankind and that He gave His only begotten Son Jesus, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life with Him. Repenting and trusting Jesus as your own personal Savior will change your eternal destiny! Are you ready to believe right now? Okay! here's a sample prayer: "Dear Heavenly Father, I know and admit I'm a sinner. I'm sorry and don't want to disobey You anymore. I truly believe that Your Son Jesus was born of a virgin, died and rose from death. I want to turn my life over to Jesus and live for Him. Please forgive me and accept me into Your forever family. In Jesus name I pray. Amen" Hallelujah the angels are singing in Heaven - You are born again! Next step to increase your faith you must read God's Holy Bible and pray. Finding a Bible believing church is helpful to surround yourself with like minded believers will increase your strength to obey and serve God.
