Well, scripture speaks much about God's mysteries and this has been a big one. Although, there's no 'mystery' describing our salvation. Jesus Christ is the Savior to all who repent and have faith serving Him. [2] Jesus promised that He'd come again: “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me... And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." John 14:1-3 For about 2000 years people have been praying and watching for the return of Jesus, even His apostles thought He would return in their lifetime. Subsequently each generation has hoped Jesus was coming for them in their lifetime. Why have they [we] all been wrong?   One event has been needed to start the countdown of the final week of Daniel's prophecy. That Israel was again a nation; and IT happened in 1948. In 2018 it'll be seventy years. Jesus - after listing the markers of events of the last days [3] - said that this [My] generation of those alive during the rebirth of the nation of Israel will not pass away till all things be fulfilled: [Generation: “The days of our years are threescore [score=20] years and ten; " Psalms 90:10 ] The next of God's feast days is the Feast of Trumpets [aka Rosh Hashanah Sept 20-22, 2017] could this be the year of our blessed hope and the day of the Lord's trumpet call? If you don't have faith that you are a child of King Jesus; as we are all sinners, pray repenting now because Jesus is the only way for salvation; John 14:6. Salvation is a personal relationship between us and God - no church label of 'denomination or affiliation' needed. Hallelujah!
