If You Reject the Lord Jesus Christ

5-12-25, The tenants in Jesus’ parable [Mark 11:27-12:12] had stewardship of the landowner’s land; but instead of sharing the fruit of the land with the owner, they rejected his authority by disrespecting and killing each messenger he sent to collect rent. The landowner sent “many” messengers, “some of them they beat, others they killed” (Mark 12:5). Finally, the landowner sent his son, “whom he loved” (Mark 12:6). Instead of paying what was due, the tenants first acknowledged that this was indeed the son, and then, killed him.

We should take seriously the warning in this parable and carefully be sure our message isn’t only about prosperity or being good to one another – our personal relationship with Jesus is what truly matters.

✝️ 6-8-20, Jesus is God; He came to save sinners. “For He [Jesus] Whom God sent speaks the words of God: The Father loves the Son & has given all things into His hand. ✝️ 5-6-20, In the Bible's book of Proverbs we are instructed that fools bring trouble to their families and evil doers will bow before the Wise. Proverbs 11:29, 14:19.
